This app is definitely not worth getting. There are barely any math equations that are typical of a placement test. Most are story problems about probabilities. Lots of spelling and grammar errors in every section that are not part of the answer and in some of the correct answers themselves. The sentence construction seems to be more about getting the correct analogy over actual sentence construction. While the app is in English, it feels like someone who doesn't speak it fluently typed everything up without having an editor look over it first. I thought this app was good at first but the longer I used it the more I began to hate it. Seriously, don't waste your time with this garbage.
First math questions are very advanced for a college placement exam prep (factorials). Sentence correction questions read as if they're written by someone who speaks English as their second language. One question has four choices to fix the sentence that all focus on the multi-word adjective yet there's a subject/verb disagreement! Deleting this app.
I haven't taken the actual text yet, so I can't speak on how relevant it is to the actual material. It's been helpful for my studying, but wow. There are tons of spelling and grammatical errors. The answers to a few questions are incorrect. When it comes to math only like 15% of questions come with an explanation. Overall it's just a mess. Better than nothing though, I guess?
The answers are wrong half the time for the math portion. Spelling, grammar errors, and missing questions in the reading section make the reading portion literally impossible. (You can't answer a question that doesn't exist). Do not download the app, it will only waste the time that you could be using to actually study for the accuplacer.
Terrible spelling errors throughout. Grammar and punctuation errors in the reading portion makes comprehension nearly impossible. "It's" vs "its" confusion in answer options. Very hard to take a test when the questions are grammatically incorrect.
The number of grammar errors in the Sentence Correction test is pathetic. Not nitpicking errors but blatantly obvious errors. 9 or ten so far, and I still have a section to do.
This app is just terrible. There are so many spelling and grammatical errors it is unreal. Impossible to tell the errors that are meant to be there for testing purposes from the errors they have made themselves...
great app to practice for the accuplacer test. explain grammatical errors, part of speech and help you learn. I down load it a moment ago and already loving it.
This app was loaded with ads and everytime something was clicked a new ad popped up. Made it difficult to use.
I'm not sure why the answers to the questions aren't *explained* so you can actually learn how to figure out the math answers. Some of those questions are ridiculous I never had problems like that in any math class. I'm stumped.
Going through the sentence correction section, and most of the sentences have a lot of errors, even the corrections that are deemed correct.
It doesn't explain how to get the correct answer if you get it wrong. Some of the math questions have bad grammar and won't explain what equations to use for the problems.
There are some grammatical errors in some of the sentences and it's missing apostrophes and commas but over all,this app is great
The math protion is not helpful at all and only gives explanations for correct answers?? Makes no sense at all.
Not one bit helpful. The questions are littered with spelling mistakes, and are incomprehensible.
The math was too hard and not written well. None of my friends could help me and they're all in college level math

The math portion is HORRIBLE and it is so confusing. It's pretty useless.

The math questions are poorly written and very hard to understand.
Buyer beware. I thought it was the Accuplacer prep test. Stay the hell away from this app. And like an idiot I paid for ad removal. Please read reviews before clicking on any app to install!

Some of the questions do not have explanations of you get the answer wrong. But it's a great app
There's no explanation on the mathematical side letting you know why your answer is wrong or even explains how to go about solving the equation properly.
Helpful when you have a little bit of time to review!
0_o I dont know what Planet THAT math is from but i have graudated high school and been through college and TO THIS DAY I HAVE NEVER SEEN SOME OF THIS !!! I had to question myself about some of these questions like "Has it really been that long?? im only 23 😕
I'm a little concerned about using this app to study for the Accuplacer. The math section makes absolutely ZERO sense, and there are no explanations for wrong answers. The English and grammar section is ok, but seems pretty poorly written itself. As though trying to teach you to select the least incorrect answer of the few choices, but you're still going to end up with a completely incomprehensible sentence.
