I really enjoy using accuradio. I haven't experienced any problems. The music selection is great and the ads are minimal and short. I do have a suggestion...when choosing a saved favorite channel, I can not read the entire channel name on my phone. For example, I have have many 'This Is Music: 19...' I have minimal clues to what channel I am choosing.

This is a pretty decent music streaming app. It's not radio in the traditional sense. You don't get connected to real world radio stations. You get curated theme collections, by genre, era, etc. Some collections are laughably bizarre in how the music has nothing to do with the theme (The Protest Song station is hysterical, practically an SNL skit), but most collections are reasonably representative. I don't find the ads to be too intrusive. Much better than Drive Time radio. Worth trying out.

The app works beautifully on almost all platforms I would presume, mine being Android. Uses up very little memory and very little storage. And what's great is it even plays with the phone off and the commercials are extremely short and the Playtime consistently long. It doesn't matter what app you're running it does not interfere with the app but continues to play. Hundreds of collections to choose from also. All in all it is probably the best out of the music apps.

My go-to music streaming app. Simple to use and hours of music. Just one teensy complaint: there used to be a way to exclude Christmas songs - a checkbox that could be ticked in the off-season. But can't find that option now, and my 5-star channel is clogged with my Christmas favorites, which is fine from Thanksgiving to New Years, but not so fine the rest of the year.

AccuRadio is flat-out awesome! Huge selection and genres of music. Simple interface to use....both on a desktop, tablet or phone. The recently added 'Blender' feature allows you to mix numerous different channels to enhance your listening options. They are socially conscious, from supporting families in need during the holidays to our troops and now, helping Ukraine. I wish they would add a payed no commercial tier but the spots they do run are minimal and short Well done, AccuRadio!

Love the app, same controls as the website. Love the integration of the controls into the phone/tablet as well as displaying the artwork. However, sometimes the "ban" button doesn't work on the app, have to wait till the song shows up in the web version. Everything else is ok.

So far, so good! The music is great, the channels are very diverse, and I can always find something I like, no matter the mood I'm in. The only problem is an occasional half-second fade-out in the music (like FM radio experiences when you drive under an overpass). It's probably a buffering issue... Overall, though, I'm very happy with AccuRadio!

I really enjoy Accuradio, and the app is generally really great, easy to use, free. Two problems with it that I hope will get fixed at some point: 1. I'd like the app to talk to my lock screen, so that if I press the "next" or pause buttons (which are visible on the lock screen) it would actually work. Instead I have to unlock and then press the buttons within the app itself. I'm on Samsung Galaxy S8. 2. I agree with other reviews that the app sometimes decides to start playing by itself.

3.5!! I think a good feature would be to have the time bar for those people that like to know how long a song is or when it will end (raises hand slowly), and the year when the song was released. Otherwise this is a pretty solid app! The ads are not bad, maybe space them out more because I had ads after each song and visually it looks pretty oldschool but it doesn't bother me as long as there's a time bar, the year is just a bit of information I guess; it would just be nice. Kudos to you guys.

I have to give 3 stars since the music selection is awesome...especially the Christmas music. But it is VERY VERY annoying to have this app trigger a notification every time a new song starts. This sort of thing I've never experienced in a player/radio app. PLEASE fix this and I will recomend Accuradio to e everyone. This app has so much potential....yet, it is it's own worst enemy.

It works but... The app functions just fine. There are occasional buffering problems that are the norm for streaming music. No big deal. I really liked the idea of a wide variety of genres. Unfortunately the variety is wide but not deep. E. g. the Pre-WWII Blues channel has had the same relatively small number of sources--fewer than 20 albums--since I installed the app in October, 2019. It's like listening to a pop music broadcast station. Others are similar.

App is stable, for the most part. Great selection of genres. On some channels the songs begin to repeat after a while. Very few commercials on several channels (haven't tried any pop music channels so it may be different there.) All in all, a solidly good app. Also available on Roku through your television. It was the only notable radio app on that platform.

Ok, it's still great, but not as great as it used to be. The number of channels is broad, and the music selection is impressive! Ads are much more prevelant nowh used to be an ad or 2 every 15 mins, but now it's 2-3 ads every 5 mins. It just radomly quits. I've cleared cache, as advised in the Help section, but still crashes. Also, have used the mobile website version... it, too, crashes,...so, it could be something im doing.

Many channels featuring great music, a good variety of genres to choose from. Love the ability to tweak or combine channels. The personalized five-star channel was a useful addition; I use it often when I want some music but don't have the time to deal with skipping songs I don't care to hear, since I know I already like every song on that channel.

I love, love the variety of instrumental music here... however, i wish i did not have to be interrupted with ads all the time (Im willing to pay.) Also, the app software malfunctions often and sometimes i have to delete and reinstall. So makes for a lot of busy work, turning down commercials and trying to get it to work right.

I've been listening to Accuradio for at least a decade, and it fits my needs perfectly. It delivers well crafted Playlists with amazing variety, and there are loads of them to choose from. Songs and artists can be skipped without limitation, and you can make your own play lists from scratch. And it's FREE. Perfect for serious listening, for background music etc. Ads are few and far between. I see and hear no downside. Highest recommendation!

Absolutely brilliant! I would pay to remove the ads. The only thing it needs is an exit/close button. Update January 19: Still no exit/close button. Also a sleep timer would be great. Thanks. Updated 24 Jan 20 Suddenly loaded with ads. I mean I've been listening to almost five minutes of ads and no music still. Uninstalling. What a shame.

Love this app. Fantastic for listening to classic country music. But, then, is it possible to remove the annoying sound that signifies the change of music. It is irritating please. Also, the pause and play function over earpiece/headphone is something you need to look into. Aside these, the app is decent enough. For the love of country music, I will rate you 4 stars

It should be noted I'm rating the app here and not the service. The service gets 5 stars. The android app 2. It works fine but you can't rate or ban sings or artists that I can see. It also for god knows what reason makes a notification sound at the start of every song. Or when you pause. Or when you unpause. It's absurd. There are no settings to control this.

Had to use "Do Not Disturb"feature on my phone to keep notifications from going off between songs. If anyone else out there has this feature ??? i suggest you use it , cuz there is no way to turn off notifications for this app alone. Otherwise it's great !!! The classic stuff to today's music & commercials aren't bad !!! Also works well with equalizer on phone too👍, cuz i do most listening through my home stereo ( Sony receiver through vintage technics 5250's amplifier section.)😉

Sometimes it freezes, and will randomly restart again even if I am no longer listening, but it is a great free app with an impressive collection, and they are very responsive. I have also seen it give access to classical music to people in towns/countries where concert and purchasing options are very limited but where internet is good.

Musically perfect after the last update. Only improvement I can think of would be to have some control over UI, for example button size and position (top, bottom, left, right) and album cover size (small, medium, big, very small, very big...for different screen sizes, resolutions, orientation etc) Congratulations!!!!
