Accurate Barometer Free
Every weather forecast service presents barometric pressure referred to mean sea level, but if you (and your device) are not at sea level?
Well, this App locates your position, identifies the altitude of your location and so it corrects the measured pressure to refer it to mean sea level.
It also:
- shows the pressure in different barometric units (hPa, mbar, mmHg, inHg)
- keeps history of measures and gives the pressure trends
- gives short time weather forecasts based on barometric pressure and pressure trend
In order to obtain valid weather forecasts, the user is encouraged to launch the App every day (better even often), to permit pressure trend evaluation.

The history tab is the best way to predict next days weather. If pressure is rising then weather good, if falling weather poor. Thanks for an app that's well put together & doesn't need messing with.

Thanks again! 😎👍🏻 ***** What happened?? This was working great! Then all of a sudden it stopped working! Won't even open now. Please update & fix. Also, a reply, would be great, to let me know when fixed, so I know when to open it again. I'll update my review when the app is fixed.
It's actually a great app and the ads are short. Very helpful when fishing etc. Also allows you to set the notification time.
A great tool. Accurate. Imy only complaint is that it dors not tell you which ditection barometer is going. Lately app has not been working at all. Using the same phone, even took it off sensor on settings. Still wont work, only a blank page. Have deleted and installed again several times. Just a blank page. What is wrong?? I liked this app.
Works fine. Simple app that works. Also gives history so you can tell if pressure has been rising or falling. They use the reading from the nearest airport, even very small airports. An airport is 2.5 miles from me, so I consider it to be accurate. The most trouble free barometer app I have ever used. Gives other weather info also in a simple drop down. Recommend if you just want a simple barometer app. I hope they don't Update and ruin it.
Love this app! It works!! It's reliable, doesn't drain resources, graphs barometric pressure changes where you are over time, as you drive up & down through elevation changes, and helps me understand why and when my sinuses will hurt. I keep it running in the background constantly. It is very intuitive and contains definitions for terms, etc. Get it!
I believe there's still work to do on this app. Because I am extremely sensitive to barometric pressure with migraines I need to be able to see the history at first glance for one thing which seems that I have to go in and press buttons to get the history which is inconvenient. In addition it won't let me do a horizontal View and get more history or go back at all and see the pattern other than the last few hours that it shows initially at won't allow any Mobility to see an accumulated history.
I like the app and use it several times a day. I often get weAther related migraines, so this helps me prepare. I just wish the main dial would have a place to mark the pressure when I see it and can tell at a glance if it's going up or down. I do not like having to go to history to see if it is changing. Although I do like the history feature. Just need a little marker on the dial. I would be so happy for that feature.
I am not far away from an airport and the pressure graph after it has compensated for the height above sea level follows the pressure given out by the airport fairly accurately. I find it interesting to compare the graph with the iso lines in a weather forecast. One thing I would like is another graph showing the pressure over a longer period . I suppose you would have to graph the average pressure over a longer time period.
This app is awesome! I have horrible migraines that are affected by pressure changes and this app is super helpful in helping me predict when my headaches will come. Would give ten stars if possible!
This barometer does what's expected. It gathers information from a nearby airport and shares it. Good app.
Had this on a previous device and it worked very well. Recently switched to a new phone and now I can't get readings for sensor pressure. Those are grayed out now. Those readings were very useful and now I don't have them. Tried uninstalling and re-downloading. Nothing changed.
**App was fixed. Working fantastic again. They even emailed me to let me know,that it was working again which I appreciate greatly.** Worked fantastic for years then all of a sudden stopped working. I have migraines that are pressure dependant so this app was something I depended on daily to multiple times a day. I really hope its something they are able to fix that's why I am still giving them such a good rating. If it's not fixed soon then I will be forced to change to my rating.
I have migraines associated with the brahmic pressure and I use this app quite often to watch the rise and fall of the pressure in my so I can chart it for the doctor
I live 2.94 miles east of London Heathrow airports climate observation station, which is the weather station that my accurate Barometer links up with twice an hour at 27 and 57 minutes past each hour. I can confirm that accurate Barometer is 100% spot on all the time and I highly reccomend this app. This app now includes an historical temperature graph,so if you want too know how cold it was during the night and at what time,this app will tell you ! You can Also select mph or knots per hour.
Purchased Pro to get away from ads as well as enable the 7 day view on the history. I appreciate that one of the updates (probably a while back) enables the app to stay on the history option at launch as that's what I use regularly. Thanks!
Just downloaded this. There are zero instructions on how to calibrate the sensor or if this calibration is done automatically on download. I have no idea whether this is reading accurately because of this. There is a 'reset' option but I don't know if clicking that will mess it up. There is only a warning that the calibration needs to be done only once but it doesn't show how (or where) to calibrate it. Right now, under 'sensor calibration' it states 'not calibrated.' So HOW DO I CALIBRATE???
Worked pretty well for a year, then stopped working. Uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. No longer works. Installed on another android phone, worked for 5 minutes then stopped working also. Disappointing.
Needs an pressure movement direction indicator on the daily page. You follow the pressure for direction mostly to anticipate weather change
The app lives up to its name. As a former Navy Aerographer the provides useful weather data.
Low barometer pressure triggers my migraines. This app gives me the information I need to take preventive care before the migraine hits which can lessen the pain and shorten the duration.
Love it. Although my mobile devices do not have pressure sensors, it still works by getting the barometric pressure from local NWS stations. This app's readings and history graph are the same as those and my wall barometer. This is the only app of its kind that worked for me.
Accurate Barometer has that look of the traditional decorative barometer but with the advantage of the local airport reading. It's self-adjusting at any altitude and graphs out the pressure trends. I have the paid ad free option which is well worth it. It's everything I want in a barometer app.
