* Heart rate monitor or pulse rate is very important health and fitness. You can start managing your heart rate now by using our heart rate monitoring and pulse check app.

How to use our heart rate monitoring app
* Just gently cover your fingertip on the back camera lens and stay still, then your heart beat will be counted after a few seconds. When you turn off flashlight, please measure in SUNLIGHT or WELL-LIT region for accurate heart rate measurement. It will show beats per minute (BPM). It works similar to existing pulsometer and HR monitor.

* According to American Heart Association (AHA), typical range of bpm in resting is 60 ~ 100. However, it will depend on your fitness level and emotional state too. If you observe irregular heart beat, please advise with your doctor.

* You can measure it after sleeping or during workout and training. Our app is doing similar to PPG, ECG or EKG, but only use camera in your phone, and still accurately capture your heart beat and pulse.

* We'd appreciate your valuable feedback. Please, report bugs or request features to [email protected].

Easy to use. Simple. I like having the option to use my camera's light or test with it turned it off (just be sure there is enough sunlight for the sensor to work properly). Provided I was in a well-lit area, my results were just as accurate with the camera light off as it was with it on. And when I checked the app results against manual pulse checks they were consistently very close. The only thing I would add is maybe an option to log blood pressure.

I downloaded this app to replace another app that gives a good reading but has too many ads. I tried to take my pulse, it couldn't detect one. I tried fidgeting with the settings to make it more sensitive to my camera and I still had no pulse. I also noticed that even with the setting marked to use the flashlight while measuring there was never a flashlight. I tried 6 times in total, switching between left and right pointer finger. I'm pretty sure I have a pulse if I'm typing this. Uninstalled.

Fluctuating readings I have a heart that does a sort of double beat, with an initial high followed by a low for each heart beat. After making the setting for sensitivity = 2 it gives similar readings to other apps that I have tried. A fairly constant 68 to 72. Which is what my pacemaker is set to. Works better after adjusting the sensitivity. Thanks.

I like the app, good menu and layout, cool stat page. However it's not functional that you have to press at the top of the screen to start calibrating...(thumb doesnt reach). Perhaps an improvement would be to simply click anywhere on the main screen to start the calibration?

Perhaps you've heard of the type of experiment wherein sound is reproduced by analyzing the vibrations of a bag of potato chips through a window in a silent video; that's basically why I accept that this app can work, and work well. It's in the ballpark of what a Polar H10 chest strap is telling me, and the live readout seems to correspond with what I'm feeling. I'd rate it five stars if I could save the line graph as an image. I'll change the rating if I figure it out. Good app, all told.

I think it's a crock when it comes up and says Rate Us 5 Stars OR later. That's the only 2 choices that i had. No wonder your score is so high. I am not having really good results when I go from 57 to 115 sitting still in a chair at the computer but hey, it was worth a try right? Too bad it dont work. Even so... the '1' is for what looks like forcing a 5 rating.

Update, it no longer takes a consistent rate and is just frustrating to use. And the rate just goes all over the place, It is too quick on analysis. i have a 55 to 65 resting rate and the reading times out before getting down that low. add some few more seconds or have a consistent reading over 3-4 seconds to get a more accurate reading. its just not there yet.

Picked this app because it's much less intrusive than other apps. Works great. I compared it to manually checking the heart rate and it gave me results within 2 beats. Now that's probably human error on my part, who can do timing down to the millisecond? So I'd say it's very accurate.

Excellent.... but the tool bar needs to be at the bottom of the screen. Every other time I attempt to start a reading, my finger brushes the tool bar and changes my intentions to something other than to Measure.

Works well, with this Samsung J5. It is very difficult and inconsistent using a finger tip, so I tried it on the edge of my palm, just above the wrist on the little finger side. This point (after a bit of juggling to get it right) gives consistently good results. It also allows you to use that hand's fingers to steady the phone. I use it daily now.

The app interface is easy to use and the tracking is good. I can not argue for the accuracy of the product though. Multiple tests would reflect 10 to 15 beats difference & and a manual heart rate most often did not match the number being given by the app.

Simple, easy to use, clean and modern interface, accurate measurement, this app is excellent. The only thing I'd change is the "measure now" simple text into a button, it'll look better and will be easier to push, other than that this is perfection :)

I've used this app for over a year now, I've compared it to readings done in the hospital and several doctor's offices and it very accurate. I have tachycardia and high to check my pulse everyday several times a day and I love that it keeps up with it and it tells me if it's too high. I also like being able to go to stats and see my average heart rate for the week the month or all time. All together a great app to have!

Renewing my review. Installing on a Samsung S7 edge it no longer works reliably the way it did on S5. Monitor shows a wildly fluctuating heart beat and a resting rate of 125 clearly ridiculous and 2 other heart monitors confirm the rate is steady at 68. Can't find out why it's not sensing the camera lens finger position correctly. No longer impressed with this app

Ram. B. Jan 25, 2022

It's not accurate at all, not even with +2 sensitivity. It also swings in between like 60 and 140 in just 30 seconds while I'm not even moving, I could feel that my pulse was not changing that ridiculously fast so I don't think it really works that well

Bob. P. Jan 26, 2022

Excellent app easy to use and unlike many other picks up your heart rate from camera with ease. It would be good if they would link it to a watch company in the future so it can do more.

Rut. W. Feb 3, 2022

Mostly good. But sometimes the sensor on the camera repeatedly fails to pick up heatt/pulse rate, which is frustrating. Have uninstalled a few time but still get this glitch.

Don. H. Feb 25, 2022

EXCELLENT ❣ Immediately started measuring heart rate when I touched the camera! I much appreciate the visual graph displayed below my heart rate😁. Very impressed with this app compared to several others I have tried. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!👍👏 Great job Developers, 😊 Thanks.

Nic. L. May 22, 2019

Works better when your heart is pumping harder so the camera can see the blood variation better. Resting heart rate is kind of finicky but it works well enough for what I need. I don't know if that can be fixed or if it's a limitation of the camera method. Either way, thanks for providing this app free of charge and ads.

Tay. L. Aug 21, 2019

It definitely was a good effort, but EVEN AFTER adjusting the sensitivity, it picks up if your hands are shaky, also picks up sporatic breathing as heart beats. THIS APP IS NOT TO BE USED IN REPLACEMENT OF A DOCTOR. It is simply inaccurate. But definitily onto something cool and the app is amazing for entertainment.

Rac. W. May 14, 2021

Easy, responsive seems accurate. Like that you can save individual & aggregate scores. Update May 2021: Over time, the measurements were inconsistent. Didn't seem to matter if I was at rest or exercising. Difficult to keep finger exactly where they wanted it.

Oli. M. Feb 4, 2022

I have no idea or ability to decide what camera its using. My phone has 4 and 3 are close together that I'll get a reading from covering each of them but they're all different reading and I don't know which is correct

Cai. S. Feb 24, 2020

Pretty accurate based on also testing manually right after... Helps me with my anxiety and panic attacks.... But doesnt seem to go above 150 (at rest!) for me on both my main phone and my secondary back-up phone. Pretty dead on unless full blown panic attack which manually is over 150 bpm. Otherwise... Great! Helps manage for when i need to take medication to slow my heart rate to a safe level!

Goo. U. Dec 2, 2018

Like it but you have to make sure youre in a well lit area to get a reading without the flashlight on. This message popped up very quickly when I turned it off and missed it saying this! Otherwise, I took a actual bpm reading calculating my own pulse and this was very accurate

Dan. P. Dec 26, 2018

The app didn't work with my phone, I tried max sensitivity but the line just stayed straight and it said that it couldn't measure anything. This might be a bug with my phone model, I don't want to rate 1 star because the GUI looks nice. I hope it can be fixed.

App works as it tells you it will. I've had it for a week and havnt seen or atleast noticed an add. It keeps good record and layout up front and to the point nothing fancy but it doesn't need to be it just needs to do it's job and that is to messure your heart rate and log it for you and it definalty does all that.

Rhe. N. L. Jun 8, 2021

I've been using this app. It's great! I used heart monitor app before but it's burning. This one is kinda hot but it's not like the other one. I don't know if it's really accurate but it helps me to monitor my heart rate. My heart sometimes beat fast and it is not accurate on what activity I'm doing.. This app helps me to monitor and record my heart rate and what activity I did. I hope in the next update, we can customize it... Great job! It's very useful. 😊

Lyd. C. Jun 26, 2019

Surprisingly accurate! Took readings and then had a cardiology appointment, where the nurse got the same results! Easily installed and straight forward to use. I have a heart condition, so this app is a great help on a fixed budget.

This is one app I depend on with accurate counts. I have Afib, ablated three times and the third time is a failure due to scars. I this depends on med to control but for several yrs not very successful. I already have a pace maker and regularly dents counts to the Cardio lab but not to me. I tried several and this is the one I keep. I use it regularly and hope it helps you too. Could be even better if data can be sent to Google fit.

It does what it claims it will do, and does it effortlessly. Also, one is able to save results. There is advertising, but it is very subtile; not intrusive. It's free ... and worth far more ... but I like its current cost. Alot! Bruce
