There isn't a single defensive driving course that matches to this one. The questions are clear, concise, and always pertain to some relevance to the chapter. I've taken other website courses, and they are garbage compared to this one. The only difference with Aceable compared to others for the worse (and it's not even worse) is you have to input some sort of command (ie. Swipe or click) to move forward every 10-30 seconds. Would 100% recommend this to anyone.
Display issues and stability issues. Questions involving road signs display the question right over the road sign, so you can't read the question or the sign properly. I repeatedly have to go back to the main menu when pages freeze. The app asked for feedback by email and when the app tried to send me to the email app, my phone rebooted. My email application has not crashed by itself or rebooted the phone in 4 years. Swiping in this app takes a very large swipe. Not great.
Good, but lots of bugs. videos need to play multiple times to progress to the next screen. i had to wait 15 minutes so a5 minute video could play 3 times just to get to the next screen. the tech support is non-existent. try to look up any problems and the app fails to load the page.... fix your damn app!
Simple use, easy to get through, and the cheesy jokes tends to help you get through the material that you should really already be aware of. You do learn a thing or two so even though most do the course because of citations, it's still helpful outside of driving record maintenance. Ther5e a tad too many videos, but they are obviously used to reach the mandatory class time required by law so that complaint is all for not.
Extremely convenient way of completing the dreaded traffic school. It's extremely easy to stop mid chapter and pick whenever you have time. It saves your progress all on a convenient app. I didn't shop around however this app was listed on alot of websites as one of the top traffic schools with innovative ways of taking the 8 hr class.
Terrible app. Doesn't let me login. Started course on my computer since I couldn't use the app. Then after 1st level it closed and now I can't login to website either. App never worked but the online version is ridiculous. Silly animations like for toddlers. Introduction is random info. There are 11 levels but after finishing one, the website version only takes me to parent dashboard that I didn't request. Needed to finish but they don't provide 24/7 help. Should've gone with another school.
A super easy and approachable way to complete your defensive driving! I love how it vibrates when the timer is ready to go to the next page, and the cartoons make it more fun to go through. Would definitely recommend!
*updated review. I'm finally nearing the end everyone... I stopped working on it the past two days cause I had other things going on. I pulled it up this evening and watched two videos back to back. Then I was kicked out because "I am required to take a 60 minute break...come back later"... I thought the last 48 hours would have been sufficient enough. Word to the wise, their "go at your own pace" might as well read "it's going to take awhile". ---------------------------------------------------- Texas requires 6 hour course. This app takes considerably longer. It will get the job done. If you can not attend a class this would be a decent option. Don't wait to start it though. There is ZERO way to get through it in 6 hours.
The app doesn't proceed when it comes to watching videos. Really lame how you get stuck watching the same thing over and over again. Have to open the video on my desktop to proceed. Your team needs to fix these issues.
Pretty good but took far longer than 6 hours,closet to 12 despite clicking through as fast as I could read it which was still faster than the timer.frequently crashed while buffering,and makes me put in info repetitively I get the questions to make sure your really reading but why do I have to type me 21 digit driver number 6 different times.all in all takes way longer than Its supposed too and doesn't work the best but the tools such as finding your court and ordering your driving record is ver
So much better than the crappy web site I had to use from another vendor last time I got popped. My only confusion was which app to download initially, I think it would make life easier to combine them all into one app.
Aceable service was good 2-3 years ago. Now I just signed up again. Guess what? They tried to rip me off for more money. They won't mail me the certificate unless I pay them extra. They only email me the certificate. Furthermore, they automatically signed me up for roadside assistance trial then it will automatically charges me after trial. They just tried so hard to screw me up for more money. I felt like this company has sold to another company!
App is easy to use. No ads to wrestle with. Had me laugh out loud a few times so far. I used a new email at sign-up & haven't gotten junk email in a few weeks since giving them my info. Overall, I'm impressed!
Great app for an inconvenient problem. Would be great if you could fix the issue where your users get stuck on a page and aren't able to proceed no matter the time elapsed
honestly i think the app is better than using the website. this course makes everything easier to remember. not great if you're in a hurry tho. you can use it anywhere, anytime i had 10 minutes to spare, i worked on DD, helped so much
Read aloud is no longer included in price . Honestly I feel a little duped. This will be my fourth time to use this course. This time after I was charged $25 for the course I was THEN prompted it would be an additional $5 for them to read the course aloud. This has always been included. What a sneaky tactic to tell the consumer AFTER. Had I known if this change and price increase I would have not purchased
New update now charges an additional $5 for the audio read along. This used to be included with initial purchase as it literally cost you nothing extra to have it enabled. If you're gonna start to be this greedy I'm no longer going to recommend this DD over others. Some of the information on here is outdated, you could've updated that instead of your new upsell. For example, Texas removed the point system and surcharges last year yet your app still talks about it.
its great especially if you are trying to learn more about driving. it gives you a fun way of learning the information so you dont forget and its easier to stay focused
Everything is pretty good when it goes smoothly but why does it keep stopping?. I have not been on it all day and i go to continue and it lets me get two videos in and it will not swipe to the next video? How do i get this problem fixed? never mind it has completely stopped and now im trying to get it fixed
So easy to use at first, but the time it took to recieve my certificate was over a month. I still haven't received my driving record either. The app is smooth and clear, but the service took forever.
So far it's easy to go through. It's straight to the point with everything. There's No extra, useless information put in to make it drag.
I hadpaid for the driving record and couldnt find out my dd #. The app wouldnt let me continue. I called and they were closed. The owner personally called me back, got IT supporton it immediately and refunded my card. Did i mention it was 10pm! Him and his team are great. Talk about some great service. Thanks aceable!
This app is awesome! I was able to complete from my cell phone while I did laundry, clean, ect. I just listened as the audio read to me. So convenient!
Helpful, interesting, and amusing. Not to mention super user-friendly. I can stop or start any time, and log on with any of my devices.
Exemplary work! My only complaint is the ease of turning the video into full view when I have portrait mode off.
Get all the way to the end of the test and freezes would not let me back into the test loss of money and time and patience test too long there's no one there assisting to help with easy I don't have it Showbox
Funny and easy to follow along. The upbeat and jokes along the way take most of the pain away taking the defensive driving course. This is one to consider for sure!
this app is a great way to take defensive driving and aceable allows you to seamlessly go between computer and phone to use what is most convenient. My only issue is, there is no way to chromecast the videos to get the experience on my tv. It would be nice, actually, to chromecast everything then just swipe and answer from the phone.
