It takes forever to earn stars or points, the apps linked to this app are not syncing correctly( example it skips days therefore you don't get the correct points or stars), the articles are very educational and I actually do enjoy them as well as the mini surveys.
I've had this app fot a few years now. I love to walk and it's nice being rewarded for walking. I've been able to get $10 reward in my PayPal account a few times. It is very easy to setup the app to sync to my Fitbit account.
As someone who was referred to this app by a friend, don't bother. You're going to be having to use this app for a year at least just to earn ten bucks. I work out 4 days a week for 2 hours each day, and with basic Google fit tracking and lacking fitness tracker support for other 'midrange' trackers, the app doesn't count much of anything. If they add better fitness tracker support, maybe it'll be worth it. Right now, though? Don't bother, just mow lawns for people or something instead.
Switched from Samsung Health to Fitbit and no matter what I do it only seems to sync the step count for every single type of workout. At this rate it would take me forever to earn anything. I didn't realize I would get so few points for the same exact activities. This seems unfair.
Attempted to change my email on the app and it errored out and basically my profile was lost. Contacted support and they changed my email, but now I can't get back into my account. Even sent the "forgot my password", still nothing and it errors out each time. Tried on phone app and on my laptop. Matt at customer support emailed me back two times and just fell off the face of the earth. Not good customer service and basically a poor app at this point. They definitely don't seem willing to help
RIP OFF! 1st off it takes MONTHS to earn a mere $10 gift card, but when you FINALLY do, you can bet on them not coming through & stealing it from you then claiming your email "isn't on file" even though I sent them a screen shot of my profile with email plus all the annoying weekly emails they send me. But 3 weeks back & forth & STILL no $10. AVOID THIS SCAM APP!!!
I installed, did all the updates, restarted my phone, even contacted customer service. STILL It isn't picking up my information from my connected Fitbit app. I'm over wasting time and energy to just try to get it connected. This is pissing me off because with out the Fitbit connectivity it only counts 1/3 of my steps and I'm not logging all my food and sleep and everything in TWICE. I already keep tract on Fitbit and have been for years so I'm not changing that now.
After completing 3 surveys did not receive reward points on 3 following and app had explained I already answered question after completing ALL NEW SURVEYS??! I have never used this app and have tried to find a way to contact support... With no luck. Evidation support please advise further. I do like the format and ease of use... Though this lingering issue does present a rather frustrating problem. Thanks I look forward to a public reply by your support team.
Tried to get my reward. Said they were having problems generating a code and that it would be emailed to me (usually less than 10 minutes) and never got it.
This app was working great! It gave me $10 each time I got 10,000 points of activities. It was amazing! But then I earned my 2nd $10 and I never received it. Next thing I know, the app is no longer available on the Play Store. I am very disappointed the app just stopped working one day. It gave me no notice that it would just be available on the App Store. So overall I didn't get the $10 I earned plus it just stopped working one day out of the blue. It would've been 5 stars, but now it gets 2.
I have been with this company for several years. This is the second time this app, which is very easy to use, has had a problem. It's been 2 weeks since this app has updated my miles. I submitted a ticket a week ago & was told there was an outage. The app still isn't updating. I wrote another email and haven't heard back.
I used to enjoy this app and liked reading some of the articles they featured. But ever since the update, I can't even log in. I tried "forgot password", and it says I requested a change to my email which I never did. I cant contact support because I can't log in. Whoever made the decisions for this update should be fired because the app can't be used. Uninstalling!
What is going on? Had no issues with the Achievement app...then had Evidation..and now it takes me back to download app but it goes to Apple store. I have a android. This is the second review about this. Can someone PLEASE help. Dont want to lose the points I had. If I remember I have over 7,000. Thank you. I will change the review when this is fixed!
When Evidation used to be Achievement, Achievement first started off great and then it went belly up. I had to reach out to Evidation to complain because I couldn't get any help from Achievement's customer service. Then they "rebranded" to Evidation and since then, points are now adding back up properly without having us sign in our apps daily like we had to do before with Achievement. For these reasons, I've changed my 1 star to 5 start again. I really hope Evidation keeps working properly!
I walked over 2,000 steps yesterday. To my child's school and back. The My fitness app recorded this amount. But yet Evidation only gave me 110 steps. I don't think so. I will try again today but if no change for the better, then I will Uninstall 👎
Does not sink with apps that are attached to it. There are times that I'm missing days of data. I followed the supports help. I've uninstalled it reinstalled it I have the current OS and still experiencing the same trouble
Works good and incorporates more ways to track steps... But the earning rate for steps is one of the lowest I've seen. The best feature is that you don't have to check in and the app auto tracks and records points.
Great app to keep you motivated. But you have to stay on top of it. Sometimes it doesnt sync with your other apps and you miss out on daily points. Update: 1/15/21. Use to love this app now; it is so slow and won't even load most of the time.
A good "get paid for doing things you were doing already" app BUT... lately I noticed it's not consistently rewarding points for reporting body fat. My FitBit bit the dust over a week ago and, rather than buy an expensive scale when I already needed a new tracker, I finally implemented my decision to replace the FitBit with the new Samsung Watch 4 which has a "body composition" feature. Only to find out that this app doesn't take body fat from the Samsung. It needs it from FitBit. I'm thinking, okay, I'll just add the details to the FitBit app since I still have an account... nope! I have five instances where FitBit was given my body fat information since getting the Samsung, and this app gave me points for ONE. Makes me wonder what else I'm not getting points for just because it only reads it from certain apps.
Not recording activity from connected apps. I've gone on 3 walked all averaging over the 2500 steps since connecting. If it's not there by morning I'm done with this. From experience this is just false advertising.
This app is horrible it's impossible to get 10,000 points to get a $10.00 gift card PLEASE being scarastic this is ridiculous I 🙄 will delete this app and NOT RECOMMEND!!!!
I can't even login. It won't let me passed the login page. I'm new to this app. Even tried changing my password. I still can't get into it.
Had a problem syncing steps with Google Fit but after a few days the problem corrected itself and everything is working great again. I walk a lot everyday so earning points is fairly quick.
Not a fan of the new update. A lot of features are gone so they basically down graded. The function to see where points come in daily, weekly and monthly was nice. It was easy to compare to the previous weeks/months etc. It doesn't even track points correctly. So I don't see why it's worth selling our info when it doesn't even function correctly.
I love this app and have found it really motivating to start on track, but the most recent update with the "new look and feel" was a huge miscalculation to me. I checked the app every day and now, I find it really difficult to read and hate that they don't break up the days anymore. I hope they change things back or incorporate the "older" features. I would give the old version 4 or 5 stars.
I had downloaded this app maybe a year ago? Totally forgot about it, but it still kept logging everything because it was synced with my fitbit, which is amazing! I'm not a fan of the point milestones, but I guess that's the point of the app, lol. But I do like that they have optional surveys you can take to get additional points! I would definitely recommend!
Normally I hate the "do so many tasks, get rewards" apps, buy Achievement is different. It's synced right to my fitbit so I don't need to constantly check it. And when I do check it, I'm given options of participating in research as well as reading articles about how to better myself. It's really just a good way to reward yourself with minimal effort. And it definitely has me thinking about how to be healthier.
I enjoy reading the research articles but there aren't many. It also takes awhile to get to 10k pts. for $10 and it would be more exciting if there were more special offers and challenges to get more pts. because app gets boring. Although, I must say, not having to sync often (ie everyday or two) is a big advantage this app has over others that are similar. Also, lots of ways to score pts. albeit a small amount. Overall, a solid app and a good motivator.
It is slow to earn money, but it is even slower to earn when the app does not actually sync all of your activity. If you routinely log 10 activites, some days it will sync all 10, and some days it will only sync 5 or 6. Really frustrating when you are doing the work and not earning the reward. And Customer Service just gives you a canned answer and never fixes it. If it actually synced everything all the time, it would actually be a good app. It is user friendly and easy to set up
The auto syncing does not work. I had 14,000 - 16,000+ steps and it only recorded 1,000 - 3,000 steps on those days. I have screen shots of all my days. Unless I remember to open the app at the end of the day, it doesn't sync my info.
