Put on headphones, start, relax.

In this tutorial, you'll hear a body scan: a mindfulness exercise from the MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) program.
Bodyscan is an exercise to sense your body sensations and actively contribute to your health.
It leads you to the different regions of your body and invites you to consciously perceive all sensations that are occurring at that moment.

The important thing is that you do not put yourself under pressure to achieve anything, be it relaxation, getting rid of pain, or unpleasant thoughts and feelings.
There is no particular state to reach, except the experience you experience every time you practice.

Try to face the bodyscan with the utmost curiosity and openness, like a discoverer who goes in search of something new.
Be your own discoverer in exploring your body sensations.

Regularly practicing the body scan will allow you to have a different approach to your body as well as your feelings and thoughts. Even if unpleasant sensations occur, try to counter them with neutrality, if possible, and perceive them as an experience you experience at the moment of practice.
To perform the body scan, it is important that you find a quiet place where you can be undisturbed for a while.

Lie on a mat or bed and make sure you feel comfortable in that posture. You may put a pillow under your head and under your knees and cover yourself so that you do not freeze during the exercise. It is also good to wear comfortable clothes. If you have a belt around, loosen it before exercising so it does not interfere with your abdominal breathing.

Alternatively, you can perform the Bodyscan while sitting. And if you like, there are no limits to your creativity in terms of location and time.
How about if you practice bodyscan during your next train ride or in the waiting room at the doctor's?
