Acorn Taxis

Utter trash. Booked at midnight lift from the station which didn't show. Ended up walking home. Was later told I should have called! Pointless app then? Deleted. I will find more reliable company next time. Don't waste your time with Acorn Taxis people.

Over the Christmas period, whilst visiting Tamworth, the app never allowed me to book any journeys to or from the railway station. Totally useless app. I had to book over the phone. Phone staff and drivers are excellent. This app is a waste of time currently.

I don't understand how this app is still active or even rated even 2.2 star. It's quiet easy to use when it comes to booking a taxi, but that's where it's usefulness ends. Any technical help can not be resolved. There's no support for it by the company, when you call to geth help(which should be handled by technical team) your call goes to the taxi handler. You can't get you receipt Apparently the company do not have any control on the app, it's run by a 3rd party. Definitely need a minus star

Been informed that this 4020 invalid IP address is because they aren't taking card payments through the app anymore. Apparently the drivers aren't accepting prepayment anymore. Last week I was told the app had issues. If acorn isn't accepting prepayment anymore they should inform us on the app and remove the option. We customers aren't mind readers. I use this app so I can pay for my children's school taxi in advance. Saves me giving them cash.

Was good to start. Then I tried to book taxi it said it be 3 mins next min it was cancelled. Checked my bank they took the money so called them n they said we have no taxis at all I said they took the money n they said it would go back in but it never did so paid for a taxi I didnt use. And since then I cant book a taxi at all says something to do with the IP address is invalid. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled but it's says the same.

Do not like this new app have always used Acorn taxis and booked taxi by app had no problems with the old app but this app is terrible every time I go to book a taxi i can't get my address to come up and have to ring Acorn to book taxi . In my opinion this app is a waste of time just get rid of it.

Pre booked nearly 24 hours in advance and No sign of it. And no one is answering phones. I wonder why Uber is so Popular?? Just used Uber and waiting for it now. Thankfully I should make the following train, thanks to Uber.

"can not accept booking at this time". This is the message every time I've tried to book recently. Called Tamworth taxi company and they say they've disabled the app because of demand.

Was working fine but the latest update doesn't find taxis or anything. Says will take 480 minutes to travel a mile.... don't know why it has been changed

I use Acorns religiously, can't even get the damn app to accept my card for payment, keeps saying "4020: information received from an invalid Ip address" I don't carry cash on me and I thought this would help me get a taxi in a pinch without stopping at a cashpoint all the time

Only good for booking. Anything else like adding favourite places, forget it the app crashes.

Easy app to use and just cleaning cars! And best drivers, aswell

So book a taxi and it's says I could get a taxi in 10 mins, waited 20 and called an operator who told me that the app takes booming even when they haven't got any vehicles but says the app is working fine but I will have to wait another half hour for a taxi. Well it obviously the app isn't working if it's taking booking when you haven't got vehicles available

Couldn't register and couldn't retrieve password! Not good!

Can't log in says password wrong click to get my password emailed to me and nothing so frustrating as when I was logged on was a really good app
