Acrobits Softphone

Very nice app. But any chance to use this app on huawei devices with out gsm as many other communications applications those give push notifications as normal

System call integration works nicely; this is a must-have for me since I need to be able to use my vehicle head unit's hands-free system to place and receive calls. And it doesn't kill my bluetooth media after using it either like Mizu did. However, I've started having an issue where the other end can't hear me for 10-20 seconds at the start of a call. It's a bit frustrating and it isn't due to my provider as my other devices work.

Excellent VoIP app, working very well with my provider (voip.ms). No crashes, clear audio. One suggestion would be to improve the contrast around on-screen buttons like mute, speakerphone, etc. It can be difficult to see at a glance if you're still muted, for example.

Tons of annoying bugs and bad design issues, but app works as advertised and sound quality is good. Worst of all: when you tap on a contact, number dialed is randomly chosen by app within contact, no choice given, so app could call pager when I want to dial mobile.

This app is so much better than Zoiper. I can initiate calls directly from the default contacts app in my Google Pixel phone (couldn't do this with Zoiper). A really important advantage is that the calling appears to be reliable (it wasn't with Zoiper). And the setup was easy.

Great app & way better than anything I've tried to date - the push functionality for incoming calls is very good & works well with my provider (Sipgate). Unfortunately there is no provision for checking voice mail with the Acrobits Softphone - you have to purchase ground wire instead: would be helpful to advise this point in the product overview to save buying the wrong software, which I did.

Terrific app. The built in push service that opens the app for incoming calls is terrific and results in minimal battery drain. Only complaint might be a bit more help information to fully explain that feature but in reality works great with defaults.

If you own a smartwatch this app will force all inbound/outbound audio out over its loudspeaker, every-time! I sent a support request to Acrobits months ago and they acknowledged the issue, claimed that they were working on a fix? Months later and still this issue exists!

Never got an incoming call when the app is in the background, i tried all settings, contacted the customer support, but it just doesn't work. I tried with 3 different android phones and Iphone, same result. Waste of money.

I'm on galaxy s7 with android oreo and the connection to the sip server is gone when the app is not open and in focus. Even switching to the settings on my phone will kill the connection. I have to bring the app back in focus for it to try to reconnect.

The application works perfectly. What is more impressive thought is the support team. Whenever I needed their help, they really tried and helped me. I 've used almost every VoIP app and this is my choice for sure

Seems to work fine. I was rather disappointed that it does not support call blocking of specific numbers, however. SMS support (like Groundwire) would be useful too.

App works well. Was missing calls using free apps. This app does not miss incoming calls. Everything works well. Would recommend as your sip soft phone.

Better than others, but has issues with longer calls, probably due to a memory leak. It needs rebooting the phone to make it work again.

I have purchased this Softphone app and premium features. But I do not use it. it closes in standby mode and does not work in background. My caller can't reach me. so, I use 'netsipp softphone app'. it is completelt free. Please, learn from them. I think 'netsipp softphone app' cent percent better then your paid app. I am a loser of buying your app.

Works, but the way of handling device contacts is too convoluted. Can't simply use device contact to call - call goes to built in phone, not Acrobits. Trying to create a new contact creates it in Device, and there is no easy way to add device contact to Softphone account. I don't have time for this!

Stopped working after last update. Sad part is it was the best of the best. Except for the inability to easily configure SMS. I really hope one of the higher-ups acknowledge this review. Cuz I need this working now.

This aap advertites the working of Sip SNS or IM or IM through SIP Simple,but I cannot find messages field to send or receive messages,although in srttings there is a setting to make default page to SMS but doesn't work. I highly recommend this aap for voice but for SMS I would like if Acrobits explain this frature more in detail.

The free Zoiper lacks push notifications. Couldn't get Linphone or Mizudroid to work reliably. Acrobits had no issues, well worth the small cost.

Please improve the incoming call UI - add swipe to all actions(Answer/Ignore/Reject). Right now it is very easy to missclick on a button.

Way better than Zoiper and all other Softphones. Highly customizable. Just add a "dark mode" option -and it would be perfect!

The only app I've found that will actually make and receive calls over my data. I'll update this review if I have any issues in the future but so far none!

works great with 1-voip on my nexus 6, but no messaging support and crashes on a unihertz jelly (and probably other phones with small screens).

First sip client which works perfectly I have it connected to my Asterisk exchange and it works perfectly using push. Its also connected to Sipgate and Callcentric and everything works as it should
