I installed and uninstalled multiple apps just because of having special characters on top of the contact list, instead of bottom. It would be so helpful to have the "ascending" / "descending" option for contacts order. Other than that (important option for me), this a really good app. So for those who are not bothered by this, I definitely recommend it.

One star to Google for wrecking this great app. Great, very useful app. For some reason the call helper kept on being switched off every time I enabled it, so calls were not recorded. I don't know why, but uninstalling the previous ACR call recorder app and disabling the little man icon shortcut to the ACR Phone app at the bottom of the screen seem to have fixed it. (Samsung S20 Ultra). I'll keep on eye on it and report back if this problem returns.

Terrible. A couple of years ago ACR was great. Whatever changes made since then have been a downgrade and not an upgrade. There are times when I go back and listen to the recording and literally large gaps of silence are all through the recording which defeats the purpose of recording a phone call. Also, even though I have it set to automatically record all calls, there are times when it does not do this. Terrible app.

You would think something this important would have been made via email or at the very least push notification! The banner should've appeared in all pages (not just the recording one) so it could be acknowledged and dismissed! Now I have a bunch of useless recording from the 11th on that I had no idea actually recorded properly! Simply downgrading the app seems to do the trick, but many important calls were not properly archived these past 2 weeks b/c of incompetent communication!!

DONT DOWNLOAD THIS AND EXPECT IT TO WORK AFTER MAY 11th 2022 - just terrible that there was not a notification sent out that this would no longer record phone calls. Just got off the phone with my agent and needed to keep the recording for promises made and lucky me, come to find out that the app is no longer working. You guys are gonna get sued over this. Almost guaranteed!

I have been using NLL call recording apps for years, and they are the best that I've tried. Their latest, ACR Phone, is no exception. My new phone has the latest version of Android, and I use this app with confidence. However, since 5/11/22, Google has taken away the ability to record calls from all call recording apps on the Google Play Store. I emailed the developer of the app and was able to quickly find a solution.

I have a new Galaxy A32 and now not able to record the calling party, just my voice is recorded. Defeets the purpose of ACR. Not sure if this issue is the phone or app. I have been using your app for years on my Galaxy S7 working just fine. Please let me know what the issue is. Thank you. 2 stars only because it's not working on my new phone otherwise 5.

The acr was working perfectly up till a week ago, but now it won't even record any of my incoming and outgoing calls. There is a red triangle that has just appeared in the recording part where you listen to the conversation and although it displays the actual recorded conversation it won't let you hear it.

The app works wonderfully perwonderfully. I've had it for a while and it has consistently recorded well. There were some recent changes with Google's allowances. The support team quickly helped me understand the change.

Superb! I was looking for a replacement for stock app and this is beyond expectations. One thing I noticed is that it doesn't display contact name when notifying a missed call. But this is a minor inconvenience compared to all the great deal of peace I gained back using this app as default dialer. Cheers 🙏🏾

Much better integration over the regular ACR, unfortunately the volume adjust is not nearly as good, I have been having problems of the phone speaker being way too loud and clipping in the recordings. And if I use the ear speaker, the audio is way too quiet. I can adjust the phones in call volume, but then is gets too low for me to hear the conversation 😣

Keeping the older version of this app cuz I hate Google's stupid policy. This is a 5 star app. What I don't like is when I get an inbound call, the recording only has my voice and not the other person's. So I have to call people for the recording to come out the way it should. Other than that, all the features are 🔥, best call recording app I've seen in years. Again, I'm keeping the older version on purpose so the app still works like it should. Google is trash for doing this to us all.

I don't like how it keeps prompting me to upload my contacts to their database. Not only is it annoying, but I'm worried one day I'll accidently tap accept, which is a major privacy issue. Shame, because the rest of the app is very good, but I just can't trust it not to transmit personal data, so uninstalling.

It is the best call app I have ever tried, but it has few downsides like why they put call tab in the far left and it's the most important tab and most humen right handed. Edit after respond: The only choice I see is Default Tap but it's not allowing me to choice every tab exactly where I want it.

If you have access to Samsung Galaxy store download "APH". after recent update due to Google policy update I was unable to record calls but with APH and easy set-up as instructed ACR recording works again! I just wish I can swipe to left to text people like Samsung phone app does

Apr 12, 2022 Mess my music library by adding all call recordings to it. Old problems still persist: During payback from phone, my voice comes from the top earpiece while the other person from the phone speaker at the bottom. Everyone nearby can hear! When payback wth earphones my voice is much more louder on the right while the other person on the left! Please rectify and add an old feature of the Red ACR app: choice to listen either with earpiece or speaker.

It is painful that this beautiful app doesn't capture an audible voice of the call receiver, only the caller. While playing back recorded call, the audio level is generally low. This should be the prime functionality of this app. So, a star rating from me till it improves.

Data is FAR too expensive to use like this here. EDIT: Evidently the owner/author of the app doesn't read, understand or care for their feedback. I commented on the fact data (as in carrier data ffs) is too expensive to use SIP as THE option for phones, I mentioned NOTHING about the cost of the app itself! The Samsung Store version works though it had a nag message at the top leading me to check this out. Remove the nag message off the SS version please as it works and this version is USELESS outside of some EU/US cities! In essence, given the cost of mobile data, the unreliability of mobile data and the slow data speeds in Australia, SIP is *NOT* an option! Been there tried that and it was useless! Also FFS learn to read your feedback fully.

When I record calls I cannot hear the caller's voice, I'm on Android 11. Edit: I upped my stars from 1 to 5. I'm very impressed by the prompt and adequate response from the company that provides this app! I understand you are dealing with a multitude of android versions and you will always be reactive to whatever Google throws at you. Turning on the speaker automatically at a low level, gave me the functionality that I need. The phone app is second to none, brilliant! Keep up the good work!

I am making an update on my initial review. I still love the app seems to be the best one I found but I will say that I have a constant problem with one of the options getting disabled constantly and I have to go in and re-enable it in order for it to record anytime I click the back button while in the phone dialer app it disables one of the options. Can't remember what the name of the option was but if they would fix that it would be great.

Dialer & integrated sip client is great. I wish there were the ability to set a different ringer for each line though. Call recorder doesn't work properly though. It records only my side of the conversation no matter what settings I change. It may have something to do with AT&T shutting down 3g service in the United States. All calls are 4g VoLTE on AT&T networks now.

Please add an option to dial from sim 2 without changing the default calling sim. Developer response: TAP hold Dial icons to bring up SIM selection Reply: I already tried that. Holding call button in Calls tab just starts the call, as if I had clicked on it. Also, if i long press the contact and do "Call with", it starts the call directly with the default sim. If it's relevant, i am using pixel 6, default latest rom. FYI: Pixel has 1 esim and 1 physical sim. Verified that both of them works.

Good all in all, but at least with one drawbacks: The floating button is annoying being always on the screen. I keep touching it accidentally and disable the recording without knowing, or have to always move around to watch something or even to write a text. Is there any way to turn it off or at least making it smaller?

SIP calling is great! Love the TLS and SRTP additions. Need to do more testing but this might be my new main SIP client! Can we add a function to merge two calls together. Update: Still having problems with incoming SIP calls not waking the phone up if screen off for a while. Tried solutions from Dontkillmyapp but no luck.

I just wish you folks can figure out how to get this to record like it did before Android 12 Edit: Your reply >Try enabling loud speaker. >>1. I don't want to enable loud speaker because I don't want everyone knowing what I am saying and 2. I did increase the gain on the recorder but the result is a very choppy recording.

Sad day,! Google has denied recording access for calls on my Android 11 phone. Only silence is heard. SO SO SO😭😭😭 SAD. It is a wonderful app that I used all the time. As backup to remind me of doctor appts. Or last voice contact of loved ones who passed away. May 11, 2022 will forever go down in history as a day "GOOGLE SHOULD BE ASHAMED". Denying excellent product usage through apps on the Play Store. I still give the app -5- STARS. Even though Google has changed my usage of the app. Thanks

I found ACR Phone while looking for "Phone by Google" replacement. Because Google killed the call recording feature. Call Recording in very important for me who works on field and make order/payments on the move. ACR Phone solved my call recording problem otherwise i was thinking of downgrade my phone to older android for Call Recording feature. Thanks NLL Apps team, accept this 5 star, you deserve it.

Thank you for a wonderful app! In addition to my prior post I want to express how it works for me. The best feature is having calls recorded so I can playback something either I missed (such as a name of a customer service representative) or better that I can review myself and apologize if I had hurt someones feelings.. sometimes my response/action answer etc during a call needs a brain adjustment, (I don't always think before I speak) this way I review myself and correct myself

Great app. Works as it should. But whoever is calling doesnt show up on my Samsung Z Flip 3. Works with other apps. EDIT FOR CLARIFICATION: Number doesn't show up on the cover screen when phone is closed. Either way, i could easily recommend this app.

Great when it works but almost daily does it make me re enable call recording. I can make a call and it records fine and then a minute later the next call doesn't record and its telling me I need to re enable. Tried to find a support option in the app before writing this review but couldn't find it.
