I will respectfully disagree with Nocholas' review but echo Sweet Touch Hall's. I took the exam 2.5 weeks ago and failed, scored a 521. Much like Hall I was confused and disheartened because I was rocking 80-100% on the practice exams. Then when I thought about my problem areas, client assessment and exercise implementation, I realized that I needed to do a bit of studying on my own off this app (utilizing other references) I just retook the exam and passed! So although this app cannot be used alone to guarantee passing (not that it claims to) it absolutely was helpful on ~60% of the exam with at least 10 questions word for word on the exam. Using this app reduced the amount of time and resources I had to use on other formats....for $20. If you're serious about becoming a trainer, I 100% recommend this app as solid supplement to your studying. Again, I would use other sources to help with client assessment and program implementation (%HRR, %RM, #reps/sets, etc.)
Very good study guide. Only down side is some time the answer is always the last options or it's one of the other 3 top answers. Would like it always random.
well , I took the exam yesterday and passed ,got 608/800 exam is tough . About prepu , I bought the premium version and yes it helped me , the difficulty level of questions is good . and kind of similar to acsm exam , it will give u tons of practice questions and things u dont catch when u read the book yourself. but if u r planning on mugging up the questions in prepu and giving the exam , solely relying on prepu ( bad idea) My advice 1) Exam is tough , understand the concepts extremely well .
This is great for those practing for CPT. The questions and the feedback is what makes practice exam better and easier.
The questions are nice and they help me study. I just wish there were more questions for the free version, like I think 50 would be good.

It takes a lot of time these days to open the app. Most of the times it doesn't even open. Please fix this.
Very different from the original final exam. Wasn't helpful. I failed the exam.

Broken hearted. I paid for the upgrade and took the quizzes over and over literally hundreds of times with an average of 80% I just took the exam and failed. Maybe 2 questions came from the prep. It did not prepare me. I'm confused and frustrated. I studied for months and based much of my progress on my quiz scores from this app. They need to actually make it applicable to what the real exam consists of.
Definitely not worth $20 to upgrade... This app isn't informative, it's inquisitive. Asking me questions isn't going to help me be a great trainer it's going to encourage me to look elsewhere for training

I love this app! It's easy to use and I didn't mind spending money for the 1 time purchase. The only problem I have is that I can't look at my flagged questions unless they are in a quiz. I would like the option to view my flagged questions without a quiz so I can use it with my text book!
