this is a really fantastic app. you can load all your movies onto your microSD card and watch them on the plane or wherever else you happen to be. there are so many options and so many ways to easily manipulate the app via the touch screen. I have been using this app for years and I love it. definitely worth the cost
Not all phones have menu keys... I'd happily pay for this app (I particularly want to be able to bookmark long videos) but without a menu key available (Samsung GS7) it doesn't seem possible. Please let me know when you find a solution to this and you'll have a paying customer!
I'm so nice, which partly is why I'm giving 5 stars. But maybe 5 stars are deserved, we'll see. I used Act 1 for years without problem, but bought a new phone and Act 1 was no longer compatible. That was several years ago and I have since updated to a newer phone. To my surprise, I found that Act 1 is compatible. What makes Act 1 so important to me is that it has 'bookmarks' and 'replay A-B'. Two features that I use a lot, but for some reason none of the other video players seem to offer!
Cannot play old mpeg format. Player should be able play as many formats as possible like other video players. For folder where video are, one have to type complete folder path which is inconvenient. One is only allowed to type one path.
Agreed, used to be my fav/go to app for playing videos but can no longer play in B/G..i see it has been a long time since an update..maybe creator no longer supports app? Sent feedback and if i don't hear back i guess i will have to find another..any suggestions for app the ays the video with 'Play in Background' option?
I've used this app daily for years with no problems till recently. I can't play in background anymore. I've been having this problem for a few months now and would hate to start looking for a new one.
Will not update to work on older devices.
When this app first came out it was very good, nowdays it doesn't even work, waste of app

A great android video player.
Awesome Player. I use it since years and it has great features still to be found on other players. However, the most recent update has introduced some bugs. I.e. When pressing the back key to stop playing a video, it takes several seconds before the player responds. When deleting a video, the application quits and the file is not deleted. That's definitely a bug and wasn't the case in the old release. Also the app cannot be invoked from other apps like "x-plore"

When putting video to play in bckground, there used to be an app notification where I can press to recall the video (playing in background) to screen for viewing. After updating to Oreo on my samsung S7 edge this function doesn't work anymore (after putting video to play in background, there's no way to recall it to screen) Rating it 1 star until this is fixed.

You make me get google play store (rooted and deleted)...cuz u expired my paid license....
While playing a video from playlist, it should display video name on top, please add this feature, i will give you 5 star if thay feature is added
This app has stopped working on Android 7. Message is application expired. Recommended that I upgrade, but there is no upgrade. I have been using this app for years.
do yourself a favor and learn this program it is absolutely the best nothing comes close.. I have used this professionally for years. really awesome developer
Great player. But missing some audio codecs, since it doesn't play sound on many files on my tablet. Please update!

If you want to see player controls without having to tap the screen, look no further. After being frustrated for quite some time with "auto-hide controls, I was lucky enough to find Act 1. Controls when you want them, and none when you don't. This is a great app, and is well worth the price.
I like that I can pay my music videos in the background. One thing that has been requested for years for this app is ability to save playlists.. This would make it 5 stars
When ever I get a new phone this app is a must. I can find a better one here

Have used this app for years. Works great.
Just because I gave it a four star that doesn't mean there's something better. Very intuitive I've used this since day one. The missing star is for the fact that when you want to freeze a videos frame it needs to freeze at that place and not to jump after a second or so, and the other reason I wish there was an option to purchase additional codecs. The price of that video player itself is definitely worth the price and some.
