Just updated on 8/30/19. Now live scoring feature does not work at all. When I select my local center, instead of getting live scores like I used to I now only get a button to call the center. This needs to be fixed as the app is now worthless without the ability to view live scores.
After reading some of the comments I was a little apprehensive but it all worked out pretty well. I live in Michigan,my league ID/USBC league certification worked for the league I bowl in. My PayPal went smooth for my deposit. I recieved a code for $5 credit to invite other users. It all worked well,and I did it all from the app.Sorry so many have had issues but my experience was easy and straight forward. Great app.
Awesome concept realized with this well designed app / site. xBowling allows you to compete with bowlers from all over the approved bowling alleys during your regular local league bowling night. I have made hundreds in winnings already. Success in based on your bowling scores compared to those entered in the same contests.
THIS APP IS GARBAGE! The purpose of an App is so you can DO EVERYTHING THROUGH THE APP! Not be redirected to the damn website to get things done! Also, I constantly recieved invites to try this app from USBC, signed up, but it's NOT available in MICHIGAN?!? Where LOTS of League bowlers are STILL ACTIVE?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!? GTFO MY PHONE! 😡
Utter misery trying to login! Get logged into SCN just fine, but when i then try to sign up for contests, I have to login to X Bowling and it says my info is incorrect and can't get passed that login page no matter what!!! GARBAGE!!!D(figured out on my own, "support staff" never got back to me)
Only ever used the app for live scores and now that doesn't work. Been an ongoing issue for months. App is unreliable!
Fun and exciting way to try and make some money in more side pot action than what can be done in house during league. I even have my wife using XBowling!
it's a new level of bowling for all types of bowlers ,from new bowlers or older bowlers tired of the same league play year after year. it's the "XGames" of league bowling with your own score or personal goals being the goal to bring home $$$, or even a new ball or even gear .
I dont know what's worse. The app or the website. Both are useless and work a fraction of the time.

Can't find where to log in. And to set my birthday I have to go month by month thru 28 years no thank you I will stick to the browser
What the hell is this app for? All it does send you to the webpage. Literally no effort on the app.
The best feature of the app was to be able to watch live scores at your local bowling center. The other features in the app do not appeal to me. Please bring live scores back.
The new app is useless. Bring back the live scores
Pretty awful that I do everything right, and yet somehow, the request file is too big, my browser supports it and I used my normal camera on my phone, what is too big about the file? Just a ripoff and a scam, don't fall for it like I did.
I've used the Xbowling app for over a year, accumulating enough pins to put me in the #1 spot at my home alley and in the top 50 world wide. Needless to say, I used it religiously. Since the switch to SCN, the app has gotten worse with each update. The latest update (around 11/23/16) seems to have completely removed Xbowling in favor of "Action Bowling" - aka paid tournaments. Sadly, this has become a useless app.
Can't play a game with xbowling, won't log me in to start bowling.
Nearest center to me is about 50 miles away. Also, we MUST agree to get emails from 3rd parties. I don't want extra emails! Might try again in a few years if more centers are added and I can opt out of spam! **EDIT** Thanks for the response from the DEV. My home center is Fiesta Lanes in New Braunfels, TX. I still do not want 3rd party emails. Bumped up to 2 stars simply due to response from DEV team.

Can't remove games. Can't correct scores. If you have to change a score at the lanes, it doesn't update. Changing a 9 to a strike resulted in a 9 and a blank on the frame and no score in the frame. Needs a lot of work to be useful.
Easy to use, lots of options for side pots on league night. If your league doesn't have enough people joining in doubles, singles or brackets then try this app out. Compete with fellow bowlers across the country or bowl against yourself in the beat your average games. They have lots of opportunities to win equipment too. But my favorite part is I can throw my warmups, get a feel for the lanes and then decide right before I start to enter in games that night. Good luck and high scores!!!!
