Useless sony software , just want to connect a sony action cam to phone ,that it wont , wanted to use the smartwatch the control ,no chance Sony release something ,support for maybe a year then forgot about it and never update the software shame as the camera is great ,but with no software is dead !
Not even an icon on the watch or the phone
It would be better if you could mirror the camera on the smartwatch just like the smart camera app so you could see what you were taking without holding your smartphone.

Why is this app not available for Sony SmartWatch 3?
It seems to open a camera on my Xperia Z Ultra, but on the SmartWatch 2 it says waiting to connect to phone/camera. Shame.

I have a Sony Smartband Talk SW30 and if you tap the phone as per the instructions, it does not find the camera on the phone. It says you must be connected to wifi (which I am anyway) and does absolutely nothing

This has happened to many people including myself.
Simple remote control IF YOU HAVE A SONY ACTION CAMERA. Also smart extensions install in smart connect as, oddly, they're extentions not applications? Perhaps they should start selling Dumb Bands?

The stupid app wouldn't even open.After instalation it gives you the choice to uninstal, you can't open the app in the play store, sony is a great company, but this app needs alot more work!

I can't find the app after installing it. It's not listed on my phone. I had the same problem with another Sony app, though that one I could tap "open" from the Google Play page. Not so on this one. Sony, how do I take a picture with my new a5000 camera by using my phone as a remote? I'm using an S5.

Waste sony give some updates
Sony is famous for allowing new phone OS to surpass their own Apps, without modernizing and updating them. In fact, Sony closes down more apps while pondering essential apps to other companies (IE Swift Keyboard, which I hated, so I got Sony Keyboard APK). They'll spend more time on their UI themes. But in reality: Sony doesn't care anymore. I tired this with my SW2 + Xperia Play, Z3V, XZ, XZ2 and didn't work.
