WORST BOOKING APP EVER! I'm seriously considering switching premises because of the frustration caused by this app. I can never book together with my wife. Green timeslots mean absolutely nothing, when you click on them, 90% of the time they don't let you book. Horrible experience, stay away if you can.
*Edited from 1 star to 4* I was unable to book without it charging me/kept getting lots of errors come up & couldn't get online nutrition. I was emailed by a member of staff who sorted it out for me, app is very easy to use, can book and cancel on the 'find a class' route, no extra log in required. 1 star off because I would prefer not to have to log in seperatly for online nutrition & would prefer an option to book the creche in app, especially as bitterne never answer the phone to book
App is dreadful, almost as bad as the website. Used to be easy to book but I have problems logging in, now that's been sorted but I can't open the app at all because it needs to update. I have authorized auto update and every time I click to update it and access my profile it sends me to the play store where I can only open the app, sending me back to the 'click to update' which sends me back to the play store again. I have had this app for years and always have some sort of problem with it.
Just about usable to book and cancel sessions, anything else is a lottery. Today's update process is a case in point and complete joke - app can't be used unless it's updated and it's impossible to update, it just bounces back and forth between the Play Store and the 'Update Now' screen. Please test stuff before you push it.
I have been a member for around 5 years and NEVER been able to use the app. I'm always prompted that 'something went wrong'. The scan function to get into the gym is never recognised so I have to (on every visit) get a member of staff to let me in, and not to mention getting quizzed on whether I've paid my direct debit and that being the reason the scan doesnt work- so annoying.
Useless, cannot book green swimming appointments about 90% of the time, theny partner manages to book the time I was told is full. Web page takes you to the app, app then sends you back to the we page, and it never remembers between clicks that I have selected swimming not the gym. We started booking in the center and now are told we can't do that, we have to use the broken app / website. Seriously thinking of taking my money elsewear.
I was about to cancel my membership due to how hard AN made it to book stuff BUT the new update has fixed everything! Bookings are so much easier, everything is more visible, done in fewer clicks and a lot less frustrating. Thank you for listening to feedback and making these improvements.
the app is ok. I'd like to be able to book all my classes through find an activity though as it's easier and quicker than through book an activity. also a dedicated swim time table might be easier to follow and separate by teaching and main pool.
Easy to use for booking classes. What I'd like is a description of each class because I've no idea what they are , also I'd like the option to move the sections around like you can with fitbit because I'd like my account nearer the top so I can see what I've booked quickly .
like active nation staff you get some good and some bad. the apps features don't all work I can't log into the active nutrition and the connected app feature is down. no facility for support ether. they want you to down load the app. But what's the point if the features are not working. waste of time
Easier to book online IMO, the app constantly asks you to login whenever your about to do something, even if you logged in 5 seconds ago, really needs cache the session, as using the app just becomes too much of a pain. The layout of the app is good, haven't had any troubles with it updating like others
Unfortunately this app is useless at the moment on my phone. It isn't remember my login details therefore I have to type in every single time. Then when I want to book in my session I tap on the chosen activities and basically nothing is happening at all. It could be my phone but I don't think so. I am sorry for the bad review, but thanks for your work
Terrible app. Makes you log in to the app and then makes you log in again when you try to book anything and it keeps asking you to log in every time you try. Does not save details. It is faster for me to login via my pc.
I enjoy using the AP for booking classes very easy but I wish there was a description of what the class does together with a description of benefits that can be expected. sometimes I do not book because I'm sure what the class is all about. I know that your cannot modernise the changing rooms but the toilets could be much cleaner which are located at the back if the changing rooms The toilet bowls are badly stained and needs someone to go in there and clean thoroughly to remove stains.
Worst app I have ever come across, appalling. Made worse by a bunch of 5 star reviews all arriving one after the other, amazed google had not picked this up, utter con, this does not even rate 1 star. Nothing works, even when redirected to website just to make a booking, that site is awful as well.
2.5 | Annoying when Booking an activity! Booking the classes is fine & easy but when it comes to Booking swimming, I have to log in each and every time despite the fact I'm already log in o the app! This is really annoying.
Awful app. I have reset password again and again, says it is confirmed then can't recognise it. I have to ask staff at gym to let me in!! Can't book classes either unless I contact the gym myself by phone or by speaking to one of the staff. What is the point of having an app that is so useless!!!
Can't book gym times in this app anymore as the app doesn't do anything when you try to book and have to book via the website in the end, so what is the point of even having this app? Support has been non-responsive for 5 days regarding this.
Awful app, basically just forcing you to log in to the poor website. Even though I am member and logged in I still get the 'join now' button. The most frustrating aspect is I can't book courts which is all I want to do. Why release a half finished app that doesn't cover the basic functions?
log in to the app then links within the app just take you to the website where you have to log in again. once logged in you can't book classes or activities. old version was easier and better and worked. pointless app. needs removing and old website needs to come back. What am I paying for.....
Pointless: app just directs you to website to make or cancel bookings, so still quicker to go direct. I'd really appreciate a brief description of classes on the website or app
Even though I get confirmation when booking a class, 8 days in advance, I'm never enrolled. This is so frustrating as end up having to return home because class is overbooked and rammed with people. Not good enough.
Latest release has broken changing locations. Seems backend is also having problems as all classes booked and over subbed. QA the bloomin' thing.
Absolutely appalling app. Impossible to register with or link to membership account. It's difficult to believe someone was paid to develop this.
My app worked fine until a few weeks ago, was easy to use. Now it's changed and seems to take me to the Web site and I can't seem to always book or cancel classes
Absolutely rubbish, only let me sign in as a guest, then crashed constantly when I tried to look at anything on the app, not worth my time.
Can't see the membership I have chosen. too book a class it takes me to another page where I have to log back in. I'm being charged for classes when it should be included. App is useless really
I've got the full membership yet when I attempt to book classes, it's still requesting me to pay. I also cannot access the nutrition section either. I have emailed support yet nothing has been done yet.
utter rubbish - wont let me book sessions. so much worse than the previous app. sort it out. no access to swimming timetables either
Good app for booking classes and see whats on. The goal section isn't 100% clear as to what it is tracking, mine says I've done 5 sessions out of my 9 which is the goal but I know in reality that I've only done 2, would be nice to be able to manually track this. Also would be great to have a description of each class when booking, all I see currently is the names with no idea of what it is.
