It does the job. I've used it at multiple apartments. The most annoying thing about this app is that there is only one message inbox, which inevitably, management will use for everything from extremely important water shutoff notices to spamming inspirational thoughts. There's no way to categorize or prioritize. No way to opt out of stupid messages. Important messages get ignored. Also, it's extremely tedious to mark 100 messages as "read" one at a time.

I upgraded my phone recently and the app would not let me get past entering my password. After uninstalling and reinstalling the app I contacted Support and they tried to close the case without solving the issue. After many emails back and forth their suggestion was to use the browser to log in. They shouldn't have an app if they can't keep up with phone upgrades. Absolutely terrible.

Worthless App. Horrible Support. App stopped working on my phone so I contacted support. Didn't answer my concerns for a few days and I didn't see their reply for a few more. They closed the ticket before I even saw the response. Still won't work after 2 reinstalls and many more reboots. Would love to give zero stars, but that's not an option. Don't use it if you don't have to.

Apartment came under new management, which uses this app to manage monthly payments and the lease. The app constantly crashes, and does not load any details on the monthly rent or the lease agreement. This app also charges a "convenience fee" to pay rent using a linked bank account (never before have I been charged for using a bank routing and account number to pay anything). This app is horrible, and I wish the new property managers would go back to the old way of paying.

Horrible experience with this app. I have it downloaded on my Smartphone and it does not give me access, I have reset the password, I have installed and uninstalled it several times and still it continues without giving me access and the information is correct.

I work M-S 8am-9pm so I need to have auto pay set up in order to pay rent on time. First of all, they charge a "convenience fee" of +$40 to process online payments. Secondly, the app has glitched 3 times now and my auto payment has not gone through. Last month, I had to pay a +$100 late fee because of the glitch. When I contacted my leasing office for assistance, I was told it's a third party program and they have no control or way of contacting Active Building.

App worked fine until it updated. Now it won't let me log in. Keeps saying unable to authorize login, please try again. The only option is select either united States or united Kingdom. So the update to app obviously didn't work after you created the update. Undo the update or fix your mistakes to the "update"

My apartment complex unfortunately switched to this horrible app. This app charges you $44 to pay online with a bank account or debit card, that is pathetic. This app looks and runs like it was designed by a 3rd grader. This app is and their desktop page are embarrassingly slow, like 30+ seconds to load a page. This app double charged me by saying an error occurred when processing my payment then when resubmitting it turns out it went thru the first time. 0 stars

For some reason this app does not work on the newer Android phones. I just upgraded from a Samsung Note 8 4G phone to a new 5G Samsung 22 Ultra and the app just spins without ever opening. I went back and tried it on my Note 8, and it worked perfectly. Yall need to fix this app.

Please fix this app. My apartment complex just switched over to this service and it is barely functional. It's very glitchy, crashes from time to time and is slow. I like some of the features, but please fix this.

1 star because zero isn't an option. Horrible having to pay fees and deal with the headaches from this app. I shouldn't have to pay more on top of my rent. This company is just opportunistic and does not make it easier to make payments, they just make it the only option once a landlord chooses to use them and the fees get passed to us.

Junk. Now I have to go out and mail my rent. Worked fine until today. I don't know what happened. I go to login and the cursor just spins on the login page. I get directed to my browser and enter my credentials. Then I try to go to payment center and nothing happens. Pure junk and useless since we had a squall today.

• Login is not working. The app does nothing when "login" button is used. • No app feedback button. To let them know there is a problem or how to improve. • Alarm code max characters are 16, so no way to explain what buttons to use to arm and disarm. (No, the keypad is not labeled.) • When there is an error, the app does nothing. You have to realize there is an error and scroll to the top of the screen to read the error. = Clearly, no app developer hired, just ignorant app programmers used.

Most of the time the app AND the website do not work...it's to pay rent and you can't even do that most of the time...which makes it useless. And the amount of my rent, it's adds $23 convenience fee....thats to much

Horrible app, it wants to charge me $72 for a convenience fee just to pay my rent, no way in hell I would pay that much. My late fee isn't even that high to get my rent paid. This is ridiculous and I wish my management compyfor my townhomes would stop changing to things that are not convenient for the resident?

Needs more descriptive information, i want to see for what month I am paying for not just the word "rent" . I want it to say "Rent 3/1/22-4/1/22" I'm not sure if I'm paying ahead or on time. Also on the payment screen separate the " pay current+upcoming " to just "current", and make "upcoming" separate and state for what time frame that upcoming is.

Ugly design. Useability is not intuitive. Dread using it and hate that I have to! However, I must, ever since 2019 when my apt complex was bought out by an ugly corporate monopoly called American Landmark. Residents must use this awful app to pay outrageously high rent or submit service requests. Just so awful. I hate this app. So unappealing.

The worst app ever. It is very slow and the customer service does not understand English. It is a nightmare to speak to them because they cannot follow spelling and then they say they can't locate your account. They are simply wasting people's time.

Every time I try to log in and pay my rent I can't log in. This is absolutely ridiculous. I been having this issue the whole 2 years I been using it now I can't even log in. I am having to pay a fee to pay my rent in person at the office now sense this app isn't letting me.
