The app is great, would be better if it were for another bank... This is mostly to be used as an current account and an easy "middleman" for investment funds, as the support for everything else, despite advertised, is close to inexistent.

3DSecure notifications are not arriving, this is unacceptable. It is something that was working some weeks ago and is now completely broken. At least provide an SMS token alternative instead of relying solo on the notification to initiate the process. Fingerprint login after minimizing the app has been broken for quite some time now, only works a second time after restoring the app. This used to be a good app but has been getting worse and worse, app is getting sluggish after every update.

The app is not allowing me to update my document ID. Whe I fill the "Nationality" field it keeps on saying "Required field". It costed me half day of work to go to a balcony to update my document ID

The mobile app is always giving some kind of different error when I try to make international transfers. I can only make them from the web app. This has worked before but has been broken for some time somehow. Very frustrating to get each time a different BS error when everything should be working smoothly.

Locks up with white screen when trying to subscribe to ON/OFF insurance. During the subscription process, after ticking the 'I declare I have read...' box and 'Confirm', the next page (select account) shows for less than half a second, then a completely blank, white page shows. Unable to go forward or back. Need to forcibly close the app. Have tried reinstalling and granting all permissions. Have tried with language set to PT and EN. Please help.

I have tried the app in the beginning successfully, but the last 2-3 weeks it will not connect to the database. Edit- this has been resolved- Also having to constantly put in your pin to open the app, is not only annoying, but is actually a safety issue. It gives outsiders lots of opportunities to view my pin. When I get a notification for mbway it is buried in the app and hard to find.

Nice clean looking app, but **it will spam your notifications with their advertisements**. Only way to shut them up is to turn off all notifications, which is a shame because some are actually useful. Missing a way to see the cards details (would have been useful after they sent a similar looking replacement and I mixed them both), and definitely missing a toggle that disables promotional notifications.

I just removed one of the cards associated to my account so that it is not visible in the app anymore but now the app is blank eveytime I log in and I don't have the option to do anything. I have restarted my phone and the app several times but the issue persists. I have never had problems with this app before, would have given it 5 stars if this hadn't happened 😣 can anyone help please???

The app itself is ok and especially the MBway functionality is very useful in Portugal. But the online banking, when used from the browser of your laptop, lacks proper 2FA for login, e.g. using Okta Verify. The "Multicanal" code is not a proper 2FA method. Even my Amazon account supports 2FA...

Doesn't have dark mode and app is a bit too cluttered. The home page shouldn't have those activobank ads always there, the moment you clear them up by tapping in the close symbol they shouldn't reappear. The transfers and payments should all be accessable by one button in the bottom panel instead of 2 separate buttons and then the submenu for this button should have everything layed out vertically and organized.

After spending nearly 3h between app and website I was not able to open an account. In the app does not allow me to upload professional situation document, I had to upload through website and after trying to instal/unnistal app it just kept messing my details around! There was always something that didn't match by the time of the vídeo call. At least all the team during the nearly 15Video calls were amazing!

why it doesn't show how much money I had before, after some amount has been deducted from my account. it just shows how much money I have left after deduction. Also, if i have transferred money, it doesn't shows the transfered account number. I hope you will add these features as well. Well I liked the new feature "hiding balance".

I've been a customer for a year now and practically haven't had issues with the app. I think it has all the necessary functions for daily use. Just wished they added a functionality to control and enable features of the debit/credit card (such as Revolut) and added a dark theme to the app :D

Still many bugs in the app. The latest: name on cards does no take one's initials. It's probably trying to verify the full legal name is being used, but sometimes it just doesn't fit and we have to use initials. Also: app and website are inconsistent in this regard.

After the update, this app is finally a worthy alternative to the normal web version. I noticed that the accounts were showing up twice after the upgrade, but if you do a complete new install, this problem is gone.

Avoid this bank. There are multiple broken pages, The UX and UI are terrible with confusing layouts. International transfers are a 3rd party service that is very poorly ingergraged with this app, the information about the progress of an international transfer is nonexistent, it literally puts you back on the home page leaving you to wonder if it worked or not. Aiming to be an online only bank with a broken app is really bad practice.

Shame that your company values are the wrong ones. Lack of humility to answer all the people who take their time to write reviews and give you feedback to (possibly) improve your product, even if it is not positive. No Fingerprint or a more secure authentication method. Bad programming: Customer will receive an SMS, even tough he/she doesn´t want to in case of any Favorite in which the Reference changes, which is the case for bills for example. Should be allowed as an open field. Gave suggestions more than a year ago and nothing was done.

Decent app but many issues, the most recent and frequent one for me is the unannounced service interruptions without any notification or explanation, you just get an error that says sorry, please try again later, so I am unable to top up my activo prepaid online card because of that right now. Also this night I topped up my card, the money was removed from the account but the amount was not added to the card. Edit: still waiting, it has been 4 days and they told me to wait 2 more

Almost perfect: it would be nice to have some kind of option (e.g. checkboxes) in front of each transction so we could mark every movement as "seen" (or "treated"), like an email inbox. I guess this could be useful for some users, including myself.

Many bugs on the new version.e.g.: the same account appearing 2 or more times. if you select one saving and choose to do not see it in the app you get several times the sames account...(already corrected) Is it possible to add an option where you don't see assets unless you want?

App Working very well compare to previous version, but I'm personally feeling before version had logout option, but in this new version does not have that (front screen), try to add that feature, then it moving to next level of user friendly app. I hope this option ll come soon, thank you.

This last update was exactly what was missing. Very good descriptions of transactions, correct date sorting of transactions and balance status after the charge. Cherry on top, pending transactions info in the top dropdown. Had to give some props to this update. Please if this is an A/B test, keep me in this variant forever! 😅
