Love the app. My feedback is similar to others, I do wish there was more information on candidate and officials views along with where the are on the matrix. The matrix could do with a more detailed explanation too, on what it means to be leftist, rightist, gov focused etc. Also more simplified summaries of bills would be nice for those new to the political environment. I hope to see more people use the app, I've told everyone I know about it. Please continue developing and polishing.
As useful as this is there's one thing I wish it had. I wish I could see how a person voted when I click on their profile. Or at least see the bills "how I would have voted." If there's a filter for that I've somehow missed it. Otherwise there needs to be one. It says "you overlap based on x questions" well which ones?
It happens every year when people forget to vote when it's the primary election or the ballad absentees of which State your in. I'll rate this App from a 5 to a 4 and they forgot to remember to get a lot of information constantly. When does the voting starts and when does it end to avoid longer lines to complete a check list on who wins the election? Go to the nearest Library in Wisconsin and don't forget to bring your State Identification with you at all times. Thank you for your understanding.
I've used this app for years, and the latest update is great! The last version was slow and unresponsive; this version resolved those issues. I love how the app shows me which past elections I've voted in, but I wish there were more voter search parameters (such as age range).
Wow!! Voter Education meet the 21st Century! The app designers are so responsive. They helped to load the entire Shelby County (Tennessee) ballot. Our community is now well informed! It's a 10 for me!
A true non-partisan app to stay informed of local, state, and federal politics. Incredible app guys.
Wish all candidates had the comparability option
Developer said the app only applies to cities with "5000 people or more" Looking for the correct and up-to-date local elections so I don't miss any. But each poll listed shows me the same thing, "Sorry, no candidate listed..." over and over. Another app that can't do what it advertises.
This app is pretty convenient for those who want to keep track of the elections relevant to their area. There's really only one thing I should note. Polling is done through a rather strange proportional method that I find difficult to understand. It would be nice to be able to see the more straightforward method.
Excellent app. The design is minimal and smooth, and there isn't anything out there that does the job more efficiently. Everyone should use this to figure out where they stand using the policy matrix. Stop low-information voting. Get this app. Tell your friends. Thank you to the developers. Really. There's a guy on here who gave 3 stars because the app couldn't find his voter registration. Hey dude, take the quiz on gerrymandering. :/
The right idea, but need more work!! Like many people I want more information on who I am voting for on each election. The app does a great job with getting your opinions on each policy. The app also shows each candidate that will be on your ballot, however, it doesn't have much information on the candidates that are running. I use this app to find out who I need to research so I can form an opinion and who I am going to vote for.
I like the app but it doesn't really explain how their Political Matrix works and doesn't label the vertical and horizontal axis. It only had you click on an "!" at the top right with a vague description which neglects to explain what the vertical axis means. I'm used to Political Compass which has the vertical be either authoritarian (top) or libertarian (bottom) and the horizontal being on the left or right in economics. Was on the top with you and the bottom for them. Fix this please.
I wish I could use the app. Seems really useful, but I read the TOS and cannot accept the privacy policy. One star for not letting users opt out of data collection and for hiding the specifics of the data collection behind a hyperlink in the TOS. I'd pay for the app, but... like... with money. Not with voter data.
I think there should be a recount and do it twice each election..To double check.
Amazing app have no problem with it.
You can definitely tell there's clear biases in this app, but it still serves its purpose, even if it isn't completely honest
So far, this is an excellent app to help get you involved in what's going on in our government.
How do you turn a 4-star potentially 5-star app into a joke. After that update, the app feels like it takes twice as long to load stuff. You removed the extra parameters for finding a voter. Why? What purpose does it serve to remove it? Plus we didn't need a complete UI overhaul. Lastly, y'all are good at adding new voters to the database, just bad at updating them, my favorite, Steven Crowder, is still listed as a MI voter instead of TX >_> Also best friend can't load his contacts on ios so...
Cool concept. The developers need to clarify criteria of the Matrix (especially the universal version). It would also better if users could compare their results with other users by state.
Easy to use. I just put in my basic info and it was able to find my voter info instantly. Really informative on all levels of elections - local, count state & national. Has stuff on current issues also. Can't wait to track the 2020 elections with it, and easily track my vote.
The app is great, I just wish I could vote for more than one option in the political matrix questions. Not all the answers are always mutually exclusive. I like the ability to see how my representatives are voting as it relates to my own votes.
I like that the app invokes concern over voting issues, however often times the choices in the think portion are limited to no best answer. Selecting none of the above does not really offer a better solution when all other choices are poor excuses.
It is a great app to see where you are and who is closest to your ideals. Although it can't seem to find my voter registration which is troublesome.
What a fantastic app to have available! I applaud you and thank you for developing this much needed essential opportunity to all who vote in our U.S. elections.
There's a lot of information missing that could be useful to voters. Specially for third party and local voting.
Republican funds seems to back this app 🤔 doesn't seem very non-partisan of this app
Political matrix isnt great and asks for personal information (name and address) to show local elections
This isn't a video game but it is related to video games apparently but at least it is a US political app
I already know where the presidential and senator candidates stand on things. I downloaded the app to get information on judicial and city office candidates. There was nothing. This app is useless
Okay definitely amazing app but also lots of room for improvement. Wish we could view more info about candidates, how they voted in the past (maybe a history of votes?), and how they answered certain questions. I can't just make a decision based on who's closest to me in a square. Otherwise, AMAZING!! Love the options to "vote" on bills and have multiple selections for candidates. Wish there was a comment section or maybe a procon/ballotpedia on bills, but honestly it's great how it is.
