Currently deposit function is semi functional, the take photo button is hiding behind the switch application button. This has been an issue for months, and no one has fixed it. We have called and submitted bug reports, just waiting for them to fix this. ACU also needs to look at supporting fingerprint support or at least make their app work correctly with password managers.
Everything about this app is horrible. It never works and when it does it's updated a week later as if they just think it's fun to break it. Nothing loads, and this absolutely is not a wifi or data issue, everything else on my phone is completely fine but this app? I can't even log in because it just doesnt load. Trying to set up mobile pay and that "few seconds" it said? I've tried 3 times now and nothing ever happens. It just won't load. This app is useless and completely broken.
They broke their app. And rather than immediately rolling it back until they could launch a working product, they kept it for most of the month. That is insanely irresponcible with people's livelihoods. This is enough for me to switch over banks. In covid times online banking is extremely important and i have bills to pay. This credit union clearly can't be depended on to make sure i can use it to ensure my bills can get paid.
I was quite surprised to see the low overall rating.. This app does everything I need it to! Check my balances, deposit cheques, accept and give etransfers. I transfer money to different accounts, view all transactions and pay bills as well. Easy to use and versatile. I would recommend!
App is completely useless now. Log-in screen won't even load anymore. I just gave a good review of all Assiniboine CU electronic banking options by phone in the last two weeks and if I were asked again the ACU Anytime App would get 0's across the board now. Needs to be fixed! UPDATE: Its been over a month now and nothing has changed. Still no log-in screen. Extremely disappointed in ACU this is completely unacceptable.
I've used Assiniboine for many years for all my banking needs including my mortgages but after the experience I have had with your new App it may be time to switch financial institutions. The App will not open or allow me to log in so I can't receive my e-transfers. if it's not broken don't fix it as all you've done is upset and frustrate your members!!
Freezing, log in issues, cant see cheque images from the app, I need to press the back button after putting my password and then go back into the accounts or it won't open for me. it's all so terribly slow tonight, and it will not let me see my check images. I've Rebooted and still and it's not fixed.
up until the last update this app worked great!!! now it just takes me to a screen that says"member direct 5.0" and says the app crashed when I didnt even have it opened. I have a samsung galaxy Note 8. it is super annoying to just be using my phone and the screen pops up it crashed yet again.
0 / 5 stars. Not impressed. If you expect us to rely on the app, we expect you to give us functional options. Not a deposit option that hides the camera button beneath the home button, making it impossible to make deposits. Fix this and i will consider boosting the rating from less than 1 to maybe 2.
I'm giving this app a bad review in the hopes that the developer sees this and feels some pressure to deal with the problems. The app shuts itself down constantly and fails to open. It also will open what seems to be a trashy 'lite' version. So many bugs!
app barely ever works. constantly locks me out after entering the correct pac. freezes up and shutdowns every single time i try to use it. may be time for a better bank that actually fixes their bugs. plus customer service is useless, waited 45 mins just so my account could be unlocked.
Decent app, a little clunky, but one glaring flaw: the camera captures button is directly underneath the soft home button on my phone (pixel 2). Any attempt to use the camera to deposit a check is impossible because of this. Please fix.
very unpleasant, i have to re login every time i run the app. half the time it crashes the other times it tells me my pac is wrong. they when i do log in and it lets me i get to go into the settings for half a second and it logs me out. this banking app is absolute garbage.
This app is the worst thing ever. Good luck...first of all I'm only here and dropping a shame review because their absolutely trash website they lunched doesn't work at all for sending e transfers. In a worldwide pandemic. Let that sink in. Great work so I'll just try this app right? Lol. It won't allow me to login. I don't even get to type, it just spins and doesn't respond. I genuinely hope this gets fixed but definitely keeping 1 star review regardless.
I'm not sure if it's ACU or the developer that is to blame but someone needs to be held responsible for this mess. Being a software developer, I will not enter my banking information into this application. Just the experience and the usability of the login screen made me decide that entering what ever a login id was (Hello! People don't know what is. Provide some instructions.) a bad idea. The lack of a keyboard made it impossible. From the rest of the reviews it looks to be an alpha version.
I have used this app for years and now all of a sudden it wont even open or load... The new desktop site is horrible too. So not user friendly. I cant check anything i want now. I cant even see my balance without searching through a million tabs. i cant even send an etransfer anymore..... Not impressed.
The app does what its supposed to do. But its slow, unresponsive, and the UI and UX is below subpar in my opinion. needs improvements visually and should feel more snappy.
An ok application. However, my main reason to use the app is for deposits. Unfortunately the take picture button is underneath the home button. There is no way to deposit a cheque without being able to take a photo within the app so the app is effectively useless.
Lots of crashing, transfers have simply disappeared with no support options, website/app are frequently down/dont load at all. Weirdly long wait times for deposits and transfers ( no other bank seems to have the same issues) ima switch banks.
the update: The keyboard the app pulls up to put in password is all numbers like an old clamshell cell. But you can't multitap to get to the letters. I changed keyboards looked in the settings and nothing changes. Get the fix asap. People got bills to pay. (and we pay the salarys o
I have used this app for a while and occasionally it won't take the password and I get locked out of my accounts. For whatever reason it is the weekend and I have to wait for Monday to get my accounts unlocked. Very irritating. I have never had this problem with the CIBC app.
This is insane. Do not roll out an update without running it in the background to ensure it works with all phones. This is no ones fault but yours Assiniboine Credit Union. This has been going on for days. Allot of people depend on this working properly. I think I have sent 1 complaint to another company in my entire life. So with that being said obviously you have failed and really need to fix this asap. Call in an outside company who can teach your techs how to fix it.
ACU claims to have mobile pay as a feature in their app, but that is a blatant lie and am disappointed. My android has NFC, would be nice to have. Other than that, decent UI and overall functionality.
Cannot even download the update, also it seems every weekend I have a problem with my pac and I get locked out. Obviously when this happens on the weekends or after 8PM, I am hostage to this very poor customer service because i have to talk to someone on the phone and make available security questions which I had given literally the day before. I am not able to make contact because customer service is a antiquated system
Can not insert a decimal when trying to pay bills. There used to be an arrow to get to the second keypad page that had the extra symbols. I can no longer reach the other page and am stuck rounding up my bill payments.
Absolutely terrible. The app was working until an update was received now it's been done for over two weeks. This is extremely frustrating especially when your use it for your main source of banking.
Original Review dated April 17, 2020 ... I hesitated using this app because of bad reviews, especially bad reviews for depositing cheques. Finally decided to try it today to deposit a cheque & was surprised to find it worked flawlessly. Had no problem at all taking pictures of cheque & completing the transaction. **Review Edited May 10th: Still no problems. Have made several deposits; & today I did an e-transfer. Very easy process - everything worked great. Using Android 9.**
The current version (nov 2018) has an issue with the login process: you get logged in but it never returns to the main menu or gets to the page you requested. you can hit the back arrow and it comes back to the main menu but you *are* logged in. The app doesn't would support fingerprint authentication which would be convenient. overall it's functional but had a few quirks and it's slow.
