Settings are accessed outside of the main app so that changes are not being made by accident.

I was using a different app to have light while reading and was annoyed by the ads being displayed.
I then created my own app and thought I also could share it with others.
Some things just do not need to make any money...

The absolute best at what it is. If you've ever needed a sustained light source without wanting to have the camera flasher blasting in an inarticulate, hard to manage way, then this app is for you. It turns the screen on to whatever color you want and keeps it on. Honestly, only in emergencies do I even consider the onboard "flashlight toggle," after I got this app.
It works perfectly, its simple and I find it neat to be able to change the colors and adjust the brightness, another perk is it has ZERO ads. It also doesn't drain your battery drastically. In short I find this app amazing and its definitly worth getting.
No payments, no ads, just as advertised. Works flawlessly. A step further beyond perfection would be changing the brightness slider to occupy more screen space (about 80% of the screen width would be reasonable), so that precise adjustments can be made more easily.
But the only problem is that when you turn it on you have to close the whole app to turn it off. And it makes trouble when you want to change the colour or brightness. I'll welcome the update vesion if you fix it. Thanks a lot.
My only problem with the app is that the colors are phone mode dependent. Thus in the dark mode of my phone, the yellow light is not yellow but brown and i can't see anything. I found a fairly bright bluish one but i'd prefer yellow.
Despite being very simple, this is the best app I have come across. Ever. Colour and brightness are adjustable, and there is no surprises about it; just a good old light, and is great for getting around in the dark especially with my baby. Props to the developer, very well done.
This is the best freaking thing ever! It's perfect for when you're reading in the dark and you don't want to use your phone torch because it's too bright. You can change the brightness of the lamp and the colour! And the colours don't effect your reading either. Love it!
A simple, amazing app. One thing it could use is to launch the lamp straight away and not display the settings first. I set this app once and will likely never use the settings again, so it is just an extra click for me...
Im a night owl and have only gotten back into reading instead of using my phone. Your night lamp is not only amazing and easy to use, but has actually helped me sleep. The yellow light is soo soothing and its what I've been using while I read. Thank you so much for being thoughtful about not putting ads in. You are very much appreciated and i will definitely tell others to use this app! :-)
Excellent reading light app. Has a better brightness range than others tested, which provides illumination without disruption if others in the room. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reading light substitute!

On LG phones I need this to disable touchscreen while cleaning it! (Screen off isn't enough: LG PHBs put power button on back, then hacked screen to respond to double-tap with power on.) Can also be used for nominal purpose, BTW.
Awesome app! Completely ad free and very straightforward use. I actually downloaded this on my Fire tablet (after side-loading Google stuff onto it). I turn the brightness pretty high and use it as a light box for tying down drawings.
Installed this app read a few lines. Paused my reading to come back and review. I didn't wanna forget giving 5 star. Wish there was more than 5 stars to give. Anyway you wouldn't mind paying for such an app. It's so useful. It's really a noble thing to create such an app. And that too ad free.
Its absolutely brilliant for reading, allows you to change the brightness and colour. You can have a pink undertone, yellow or bright light. Its simple and very effective, perfect for night time reading without effecting your melatonin 😁
Easy to use, lots of color options, and you can set the brightness level. I like it for times when I want a little light without disturbing my wife while she sleeps.
only the few buttons needed, no more or less. (suggestion: in TEST mode it would be nice to control the brightness live.. just slidding up or down say with no visibli control..exit with double tap or back key)
Simple straightforward operation. Does what I need it to do. (I occassionally use it as a night light) No intrusive ads! Kudos to the developer for not "over designing* this useful app.
Fantastic app...never glitches out, takes up barely any space or memory, and provides a super adjustable reading light in just about any color or brightness you could ever want!
A very good straight forward app. If you can add slowly changing light variations ( not like fire effects or something just the color) then it will be perfect.
Much better than the White Light screen I tried. The easy to use and very customizable color selector is very versatile in the ways it could be used aside from Reading.
Perfect for reading in dim lit areas! Also offers color changes. I also appreciate how you can adjust the brightness & this app doesn't appear to drain you battery life.
I have started to read more books, but I share a room with my little brother, so this really helped in allowing me to read without waking him up. No glitches, no ads, just straight forward. Download this over the other reading lamps.
Simple but effective. I use this as a torch when the bright led is too strong and blue. It was effective as a gentle light on a bat walk that pointed downwards didn't destroy our night vision. Most often I use it going to bed as a gentle light to avoid over stimulating my eyes.
Simple app that has all required features. However GUI experience is not the best. especialy when adjusting brightness - the current slider is way too short.

Explore app, simple, Interchangeable, No ads, Just as it said. Credit to the dev for creating a perfect app. And its not only good for reading. It works for drawing. Overall sleeping. Finding lost items at night. It also is very small. Do you don't need to worry about it taking up space, or draining battery. MyaT part I would like to say is that its very suttle, so it doesn't disturbing or wake anyone. Very good for the toilet XD. Great app. Recommended in all situations.
