I like all of CereProc's English language voices, but this one made me want to write a review. I don't want to criticise the voice actor who recorded this voice, but Adam is probably the most deadpan and bored sounding voice out of all the CereProc Android TTS Voices. But apart from that, good TTS Voice Engine.
I really wanted this to work. The tone of the voice is not as robotic as most of the voices I tried but when I set it to read full pages it mispronounced so many words it was unintelligible.
BrailleNote Touch Plus accessible! This voice is so good, it puts BrailleNote Touch Acapela in a burning fire of shame. Keep up the great work CereProc! BrailleNote Touch Plus users, what are you waiting for? Give this voice a try. I'm positively sure you won't regret it.
amagin taking ivona joees voice. and changing his intonation. and lesining his quolity. thats what this sounds like. also it says i'm unable to set the settings. pleas write to me back. using talk back android number 8.1.0. it's happining with all of the voices i mean i'm using talk back with android 8.1.0. any ways i like yore voices. so i'm not un instauling them
Voice is OK. if there is an erase feature, i haven't found it. The only way to erase is it hold the backspace button
The voices in deed of high-quality but when used for reading an ebook, the experience is very bad. It does not feel natural at all
Sounds like someone is taking normally and then a hand saw is waved around to make that distinct "warble." Refunded.
Terrible. Very choppy. Nice choice but poor execution.
This is an awful TTS program.
Really wonderful, much better than stock standard android TTS. Used for listening to textbooks through e-book reader. Only issue (not sure if e-book app or this app) but it merges sentence with citations. E.g. no pause between sentences that end with .^12 citation. Very distracting. Otherwise wonderful. :D
This voice iis quite good and natural. Some words come out a little robotic once in a while and the odd click in the sound. Not as good as the voices on my Fire HD 8 that uses Ivona, but a close second.
Cereproc voices are good but hopefully by the next updates all your tts will be able to read out emoticons and different currencies. Please make it happen. Good luck debelopers.
Worst purchase. Quality is bad. Not natural at all. Default google voices are much better.
This is a very good app but the developer has not updated it since 2016. If your going to pay for an app then you'd hope the dev would at least update it once in a while..
Works ok, but opening settings on Android 8.1 crashes app.
The voice is pleasant and I really want Cereproc to improve it. With this version there is static in the background and it has trouble with some punctuation and emotions. Please improve and I'll iterate it.
i'm inlove with adam's voice and i'm very proud to hear his voice every alerts on my phone. his sweet voice is soooo 💗💗💗. i love you adam💗!!!!
William and isabelle are the best from cereproc.
Clear and natural
Up until my devices started running Lollipop, I had been using SVOX classic and the US English "Michael" voice for my TTS on all of my devices. SVOX hasn't been updated in years though and will not run on Lollipop. It was at that point that I discovered CereProc and this voice. The Adam voice sounds quite natural and while I was very satisfied with SVOX's Michael voice, I think that CereProc's Adam voice sounds just a bit more natural. I am only rating this app 4 stars though because it is missing a setting that SVOX had and it is a setting that I greatly miss. SVOX allowed for a volume setting specifically for their TTS voices. I had mine set at 160% because TTS voices generally play at a volume lower than the media, system or notifications volume. It would be great if CereProc could provide a way to separately adjust the volume of their TTS voices.
It has some very odd intonation at unpredictable times - serious trouble after words ending in 't'. Needs a visible cursor badly. Really annoying to need to delete the sample text each and every time.
I'm going back to the Google voice, and I'm hoping I can my money back from Cereproc. The samples online sound nothing like what you get. I bought several different ones hoping one of them might be ok. I'm very disappointed.
I purchased this app and it is giving me this message : don't allow the user access . unless this issue is solved , I would give it 5 stars .
Google still uses it's default TTS.
Don't allow the user access
The app experience on my Android-working Chromebook using Chrome OS's Chromevox screen reader has been a pretty good experience for me. One issue is that a lot of times, the TTS engine is a little slow in terms of using the screen reader. I have had this issue with other CereProc voices I purchased. Speaking of which, the price is very affordable. Other than that, the app is great.
