To use adb via WiFi: run ADB Connect and follow the instruction 1. Connect your phone and PC to the same WiFi network.2. Enable USB Debugging on your phone.3. Connect your phone via usb cable to your PC.4. Run adb tcpip 5555.5. Run adb connect IP_ADDRESS

Instructions
This app really does work. If you do not know what an adb server is, then do not bother to install it, you will only see the instruction page. :-) In order to make a connection to my PC I had to enable Developer Options and allow adb debugging in charge only mode.
