Consumers looking for a serious, working adblocker should avoid this app: It does NOT support "file path navigation" to a custom filter list, from the phone's storage. Locating & selecting a file's "Details" displays it's path(s). Attempting to put this path in ABP's Custom Filter List dialog box - gives "Error adding custom file list"! The devs intentionally broke "auto-path select" (like those in mp3 player apps) - to prevent ease of use, nor let users add custom filters from phone storage.
Sometimes I wonder what Google bases it's 3 "Tell us more" questions (underneath the stars for your rating) on, 'cos frequently I find it couldn't possibly be related to the app I'm trying to rate. Does this app look good visually? I mean, "yes"? Cos it does a great job of letting me browse nearly hassle-free, and since I've never literally seen an ad-block app doing any of its good work, I'm gonna go ahead and call that "good visually" 😎
Sometimes works sometimes doesn't it works for the 2nd last phone model and this for a short while until I got a notification saying that it's not working EDIT: Thanks for reading my review, to be honest idk how this problem started all I see is a small text box saying that it isn't working properly I don't know what else to tell you guys about it but I still enjoy using the adblocker and will continue to support this app
Works great at basic ad blocking. Been using it for years on laptop, phone, and now tablet.
This is No Longer required as I've switched to a VPN that Blocks ALL ads everywhere... I don't have to just use 1 browser... I can White list any site... I get NO ADs even in my games... This might look prettier 😍 But is it really capable 🤔
Yes, now the app looks better visually. Has stability and blocks ads, pop-ups as well as trackers. You can whitelist websites. Helpful.
Blocks but you still have to wait 30 seconds for the ad to clear.
Please add an option to hide this app's icon from the app drawer.(Otherwise the app works perfectly)
Stopped working on Facebook a few weeks ago. It is so annoying.

Not sure yet, ads have slowed down, but am still getting pop up ads during videos. Not sure why though.
The UI/UX is not as good as Adguard but it blocks some ads that AG does not, which is what actually matters!
Allows "acceptable ads!" Kind of evades the point of the app right? Even if you disable that option in the settings menu (mostly on the desktop version) it will reinstall itself and re-enables acceptable ads. You can take the survey but that does nothing and they never respond to critical feedback. It DOES block some things, I'll give it a star for that, but I want an adblocker that blocks ALL ads, not just the ones it doesn't make revenue on. Improve your morals or grow a backbone. DO NOT USE!!
Has worked well on my desktop for years, would like to get the same on here. Isn't yet, but I will keep trying,having trouble with ABP android but I will win in the end.
The latest update lets a LOT of ads through that didn't before. Please fix that, or roll back the update
Great browser for those who hate ads. I noticed recently that I can no longer open YouTube on this browser, not sure if it's due to a recent upgrade. Fixing this soon will be great and much appreciated!
This adblocker fails to block ads in YouTube. While, Adguard is consistent in blocking ads in YouTube. I'm importing ad rules or lists. And I'm using those ad rules both with this adblocker and adguard: fanboy's anti-font/enhancestat, and peter's lowe. What's wrong here. I have the same experience with the other ABP's forks adblockers while using them in Samsung Internet Browser.
I've been using this for awhile but for some reason YouTube is spamming me with ads on my phone again. I've tryed updating the lists and updating the languages and everything (I can think of)... Update: may 24th 2021: it doesn't seem to work on YouTube or any noticeable difference to internet ads anymore
It absolutely does not block any pop ups from appearing while your browsing the internet or on Yoututube. It would have been amazing had the app actually did it's job like the computer version. Until this issue is fixed and the app becomes usable I wouldn't waste time and space downloading it.
Worthless to me as my issue is during playing apps and get those stupid irrelevant ads (usually for another game, great move Google). I stream music while playing games. To be extorted from the advertisers and the game developers (for upselling a block feature that rarely works) is garbage. And when the ad audio is 10x louder than my music is reprehensible. My ONLY workaround is to play games "in airplane mode" (but lose streaming ability).
The negative reviews here are unwarranted. Either you don't know how it works or you expect it to work outside of the Samsung browser, which it doesn't and isn't supposed to. As for me, it's great! I expected the browser to be slower but it's actually much faster with this blocker. Kudos to the developers!
from all the adblocks, on phone, this is the best recommended. too, because the reviews are good. Also, because I didn't get ads through. other adblocks some how shamefully throw ads right on your phone screen, with out opening any apps or Browsers. which is rude. But not this app. This app is good.
Does not work anymore. It won't even work on dailymotion and it's worse there. I don't know what's taking so long but I'm really getting upset with still having to sit through ads and ads and ads and ads. This was working for so many years on every phone I had. Please, fix this already.
Used to work great blocking those annoying ads on youtube. Now whenever it's switched on on the Samsung internet browser it just screws up everything. Pages stop loading or don't load properly and forget watching videos, they don't work at all. Disappointed. 2020 Got a message saying the problem was fixed...incorrect.
When you download this app you have to go into the settings and it's going to be a box that's going to say to allow intrusive ads or something and check it if you leave it check your going to get a few ads coming through. This way you can have fully no ads
Works Great. It does not work out of the box. You have to open the app and follow four simple instructions to activate it. Then the annoying ads will disappear from your samsung browser.
A lot of other reviews say it doesn't work with other browsers and give 1 star. This is designed specifically for Samsung Internet and when turned on works extremely well removing adverts and trackers that bog down browsing. It has also been updated a few times recently so feels optimized too.
