This is a handy entertainment app that will air a variety of Bengali shows with fresh and engaging themes and in the process shall fill up the void of good and youthful Bengali entertainment in the industry.Addatimes is all about the connection. The idea is to create a portal which screams quirky, original and bring to the audience the most unique and quick-witted shows that there is to offer.The aim is to give our target audience a break from the usual mundane melodramatic shows and introduce them to a whole new spectrum of Bengali shows. For the last two months I am unable to watch a single film. Whenever I click play, the screen just goes blank, and no response after that. This has happened so frequently that I am now fed up with the entire app. I contacted the support of addatimes but there is no reply. I have wasted my Rs 299. Never ever recharging again.
The customer service and log-in on this app is extremely clunky. I faced issues with log-in (since no emails were being sent) and couldn't reach them via email or phone, only through WhatsApp. This may not be a big problem for others but it would be better to remove your phone numbers and emails for contact if you don't use them. It makes your company look very unprofessional. I would like to add that I did indeed get help from their WhatsApp side ultimately.
I really like the responsiveness which many similar apps fail to achive. I would like to draw your attention to audio plays, which are very popular now a days and is a very effective tool to market new writers and books. Which in turn can be used as a marketing tool for a movie release based on the same character. The advatage is that it can be run with the screen off, may be while people are waiting in transit. I think this would work best as a free product with ads.
Team, Pls update few features. 1) Full screen mode. 2) A section that shows my watchlist and also resume features for those watchlist videos. 3) Rotation mode for left & right both alignment. 4) Option to disable subtitle. 5) Your videos start from the beginning every time and also sometimes videos are getting started automatically if paused for long time. Fix this bug also.
The latest release is appreciatable. New interface with smoothness. Great work. One thing I would like to add : Screen orientation. Make it for both side left / right alignment. **Also I am not able to see my subscription details (last date which was visible in previous release), Fix this one.
New version 110 Not working on Android TV (MITV 4) and on Firestick. It just takes you back to ptevious screen. It was working in the previous 96 update but even that is not working now. Please fix it. update 2nd May 2019. Addatimes support team has been phenomenal ..they even released another version to resolve the issue. thank you so much. i have revised the rating to truly deserving 5 star.
Maybe the only OTT app in the world which doesn’t have any settings option 🤣 There is no system of autoplay off & no process of maintaining "continue watching". Then why the hell benefits of using OTT platform with yearly subscriptions which I already purchased. Learn something from Netflix interface or at least from hoichoi. For your own good sake if you people want to compete in business.
Deserves 0 stars actually. Complete waste of an app. Doesn't open on my jio fiber TV. Each time I click on the video it reverts back. I have tried to reach out to customer care but they are not bothered to answer. Complete nonsense and waste of money. Refrain from taking premium membership.
Today I wanted to subscribe to Addatimes and went ahead to pay the full amount in the website. The payment was successful and money got deducted from my account, but the website showed "Something went wrong". When I tried to access it again, they said "No subscription" in my account. I tried to contact them via WhatsApp, but no response. Horrible experience. Update: Got help from support team. Nice contents.
Extremely cheat, I have paid for one year one screen. But still unable to view in my TV via the jio settop box app. Called their number, WhatsApp them, also emailed them but no response at all. Don't waste money it's an utter gimmick with no support no way you will get your money back.
Very bad app. Doesnt show anything half of the time. Cannot search properly. Tells you to enter the search term and when you enter the term the app doesn't allow you to search, instead it gives an enter button which just takes the cursor to the next line.
Does not contain a very common feature called "continue watching" which should start a series/movie from the last watched scene. Every time I try to watch a movie it starts from beginning and I need to fast forward to the point I last watched. There is a support mail I'd that does not provide any response.
Are you kidding!!? This is what you called a OTT platform!!? First time when installed the app it opened only then. But afterwards it never opened after my several tries. I'm really sick and tired of it. It's seems a waste of money and energy. Feels like cheated. Why don't you put a notice about your app at the time of subscription. Either solve the problem or refund my subscription back.
After viewing most of the critic's review, I somehow decided to install Addatimes just for Feluda Pherot. I installed and subscribed. To my surprise I haven't found any of the glitch in the app. It runs smoothly without any subscription issues. It shows that Addatimes team is working relentlessly towards the improvement of their OTT platform. Though the web version still need some improvement. I hope it will also be resolved soon.
Buggy and half baked app. Within 2 days of subscription, my app revealed problems.Contents cannot be added to watchlist and returns an error message. Videos partly watched does not resume from last point, begins from start. Contact Us section doesn't work at all. No update available after reporting problem. Although there is a cast button, hardly half the contents cannot be cast on my Google Chromecast. Not worthy of subscription till all bugs are cleared.
Crashed while trying to stream Durand Cup. They simply don't have the capability and/or the resources to live stream. The App crashed, the streaming on the website crashed, endlessly repeating parts of the match instead of showing the live match. Worthless.
Stearns stable once it starts but best of luck getting there !! On android the OTP doesn't arrive 9 times out of 10 so you can't login at all. When you can, there's usability issues at every corner.. Basic stuff like menus disappearing or getting blocked by other menus
The money was deducted but the subscription did not show up. Total disappointment even after paying for the subscription. I've written to their "contact us" team and the didn't even respond back. I'd advice everyone to be careful and be prepared to loose your money if you're thinking for subscribing.
I have subscribed for 1 year on 17/07/2020 whereas it's asking for fresh subscription now, i.e. much before the date of expiry of the subscription. Trying to log in using regd. phone no. & email id, but not allowing to do so. The customer support service number provided by you is not working. I have written a separate mail to you in this regard, but no response from your side. This is pathetic.
The app beaviour is really wierd. The phone app sometimes ask to renew subscription. The main concern here is, it not at all compatible with android tv. From last 2 days neither I able to play from tv app, nor the cast worked. I never seen a app like this, who offer premium subscrption.
Too sad after using this app. Though I have subscribed the plan but I have to face a lot of issues like showing error while playing videos, No option for changing pixel settings, No option for watch later by downloading in the app, Always getting restarted showing error, etc. Kindly requesing you to resolve the issues ASAP.
It appears that the apps is not made for TV viewing, whenever you viewing a series on Tv the next episode don't come automatically. You have to go back again always and click the episode to see it. Further frequently you can't see the episode on after all this hassles Not at all suitable for TV, I have already taken 1 year subscription so in a fix now. They don't even give permission for casting to TV
may be this app has some technical issue, they are trying their best to develop it. in my opinion, instead of minding issues we should focus on the videos, movies and all. they are so creative. love the videos and movies a lot....keep it up guys
Why you keep OTP feature when it does not work? Tried with 2 phone numbers wasting 45 mins on a Sunday and carrying on Sending test messages from other number, receiving each one of them but alas not getting the one from your app. Update: I tried to subscribe now and was able to subscribe. Thank you.
Poor app. Many times, its automaticly logout. after login, its sometimes says I have no subscription. thats a boolshit. screen ratio not fitted full screen mobile and android tv. but other app like hoichoi, netflix working great. I think the developer never check the app from any mobile or android tv.
Responds very slow or eventually hangs while started in Amazon fire-tv stick. Tried using casting option, the casting button is just a show piece not functional at all. Need immediate attention to app developer for fixing so many bugs. Content is good but app needs improvement.
The worst experience for an app I have ever had. Paid for the subscription, but subscription not started by addatimes. Tried to contact everywhere - email, WhatsApp, Twitter , Facebook - got no help at all. Google should remove this app from the app store, if addatimes can not provide a minimum level of customer service.
What a pathetic app it is!!! When i play any vedio it plays for few seconds and then once again starts from beginning.From others subscriber's comment it is evident that this problem was reported previously but has not been fixed by the Addatimes team. I am not sure if they have any professional technical team or not. I think my subscription is wasted. I would suggest go for Hoichoi. Far better that this.
I have just subscribed for Rs299 but there was no improvement I could see on the app. It's still not updated and asking for the same subscription again and again. The phone no. provided doesnt work at all. Please fix the issue, I have the screen shot of the issue, even dropped an email. One fraudulent app it is. I want my subscription to be activated ASAP! Hopefully you wouldn't like if the subscribers escalate it to the consumer forum!
