Its one of the must have android app for me. I would love to have one additional feature - I won't even mind to pay for that particular feature. The app detects all problematic programs and provides option to remove them. It would have been great if the removal feature can be automated. The user can mark a particular problematic app for automatic removal and whenever in future, that app gets detected on scan, "Addons Detector" will automatically remove it. I'm really looking forward to have this feature in its future release.
I was getting constant popup ads while trying to make calls or send messages. These ads were super annoying as they would appear on a paid ad free version of Alarm Clock as well. Addons Detector found the App that was causing this. I haven't had a single popup ad for days now. Looks like my phone is finally useable once again.
A simple and worthwhile addition to your privacy tools collection. Very useful seeing notifications when apps have installed while you were unaware
See what your installed android apps are doing behind or below the surface. View the app's permissions, notifications, communications, install date, history, current activity. See what apps are always loading during a restart. See what apps are open, but not visible. A useful, straightforward utility. No ads. No cost. Developers offer custom services to businesses.
This is an awesome product. It helped me figure out what application my daughter downloaded, to all of a sudden get pop up ads on main desk top screen. It has detailed analysis on what an application does in the back ground. Highly recommended.
This has been super helpful in managing my apps and understanding the risks with each app. Just a note to the developers - you are not able to identify some of the ad partners like fyber and appmonet. It would be great if you could add these as well
One of the most important apps to Install if you want any control over your privacy and security: block lists are no good if they don't block what's on *your* device - and this is how you find out what's on your device. It's not an anti-malware solution - ignore people complaining it does nothing (they haven't learned to read). Use this to find out what ad networks and analytics are in your apps and block them with a firewall like NetPatch Firewall and you will learn the value of this app.
I'm learning my phone, and appreciate this app! You can choose each item and it tells you if you should worry or not, the wording is very easy you don't have to be a rocket scientist to understand. If you need help, and email them and in a short time your email is answered, very commendable.
USER(s) EXPERIENCE(s): ✓Impressive performance time, ✓Reliable, ✓Informative, ✓Balanced for both quick & timely. ★ In-app add-on info is vegue & not detailed however, each add-on has a working URL reference to cross check & go! Anyone wants more information when suspicious, AddonsDetector provides more then just a brief summary, respecting a person's time, but also gives options to cross reference the data and/or learn a more in depth knowledge of what's new.
Very informative about all apps, and helped me find and delete a strange "blank" app that might be pushing the sudden pop-ups from nowhere.
Sorted out my problem of browser starting and going to dodgy sites everytime i unlocked device and was getting full screen adverts over all my apps took a bit of experimenting but 3 antivirus apps found no issues this did the trick
There are no directions on how to start using this, although comments say it's super easy to use. I didn't find how to use it at all. I would rate it better if there was a way just to figure out how to use it!!! Yes found the ? help. Thank you so much!
after trying other apps that couldnt find what was causing full screen ads to pop up all the time I used this to find out what it was on my phone all the time which turned out to be a nameless unless app which is now been deleted , phone is ad free now 👍
So far so good. Question:i noticed it said i had a permission for 'huwaei.android.' The thing is, i don't use a huwaei. i use an android but the phone is by Sharp. Does this mean my phone is being hacked? How can I remove the huwaei.android permission? Thanks.
I am trying to configure from where I can see which app is popping ads on my mobile. Could you help me with this app, all apps are listed in addon section does that mean all aps in my phone contain ads?
thank you thank you thank you!!!! I was finally able find the pesky app that was bombarding my home screen with full screen pop ups!! so easy to use!
Nice! Very useful to let me know whois behind the app and for what the data gathered. Also a learning to let me know which depelover are truly transparent to user.
Had a chrome popup issue. Used this to scan my phone and found the offending app by install date. Beautiful, thank you developers
Identified the app that was suddenly generating full screen popup ads. Thank you.
Worked like a charm. Allowed me to delete all the apps that were troubling my phone by following their pop up ad steps.
I tried hundreds of apps that claimed to remove the adds! This was the only one. Thank you! You're a God send!
I wasn't able to find the app throwing the ads and thanks to it I found it immediately. Thanks!!!
Not enough apps like this. It scans your apps to see what ads and trackers are embedded in the code.
Brilliant app. Why has live scanner stopped working after the last update? It is activated but does not highlight anything when an app is loaded or updated. Good to see you recognised the problem. Looking forward to the results. Now working again. Quick response. Not fixed yet.
