AdfreeZip - TWRP flashable hosts file
Urls are configurable. Root is not required, applying the new hosts file is done by flashing the zip file.

Exactly what I'm looking for. I don't want to enable root and use bunch of useless root apps. With this, the blocking was done through the hosts file. And it works like a charm.
Does what it's supposed to do. Great for people who don't want to root. One request - please upgrade script to support Android 10 (SAR)
Forgets the "127.0.0.1 localhost" and the "::1 ip6-localhost" required first two lines. Very nice otherwise. Search for "DD-WRT adblock" on Google there's about six more good additional hosts lists you can integrate from within their script
It was great for months but now seems to no longer work. 5 stars changed to 3 to get developers attention.
this application is a must,expected you have a TWRP installed. Very simple and flexible. a must to make abblock as we want it.
Pixel Experience 9.0, after the reboot WiFi didn't work. I had to chmod the hosts file manually via TWRP file manager.
Can not change the zip output path. There is nothing has been generated.
Simple but useful for advanced users.

Just enter ad block urls and create single ad block host zip file and flash it with twrp πππ

Very easy, and works very well, without the issues I got from Magisk's ad-blockers.
Great App. What I was looking for. It would be good to able to change the numbers before the name servers from 127.0.0.1 to 0.0.0.0 as i have read,it is generally faster. Also does the app remove duplicates?

Thought that developer has abandoned this, turns out it was still updated at latest May 2020. However, still no option to backup host file before creating a zip as per what I reviewed few years ago. There should be Dark Mode interface as it was a hype nowaday. But still, this is the best adblocking solution for non-root user aside of DNS based adblocker. Great job developer.
