How it works: Once you download the Adia app, you’ll create a profile, telling us your interests, skills, and availability. You’ll go through one-and-done onboarding to get hired. Once your profile is activated, you can book any full-time, part-time, and pick-up gigs you see in the app.
We’ll match you to jobs you’ll love, based on your preferences. Book the jobs you want to work, and pass on the ones you don’t. Whenever a new job is available, we’ll notify you. Work as little or as much as you want - it’s 100% up to you.

While the app is functional, I don't get too many job offers. The customer service portion is completely useless. I haven't talked to anyone from Adia since my initial hiring years ago. I've shown up to job sites completely blind. Useless contact info, poor instructions, but it's always ended up working out. I've always gotten paid, so I can't complain. It's just weird that I can't get in contact with anyone fron Adia when needed. I'm not jabbed so I probably miss out on a lot of job offers.
It works at a basic level. I can clock in and out, find gigs (once in a while). Adia has canceled on me more times than I have on them. I haven't been able to talk with an Adia staff member since the day I was hired. It's kind of bizarre. I still get paid, I just have no recourse if anything comes up. If you get sick, you literally surrender your entire gig. Call out one day and you're basically fired. They'll cancel on you on short notice too, it's happened to me twice, very frustrating.
First, Adia, as a gig job employer is very good. There are shift jobs available in a variety of business catagories. You can accept any shift you want and are not pushed to take any at all. After accepting a shift you are guided by the app all the way to time for your shift to start with and RSVP and shift day reminders and a map to guide you there. There is also an in-app chat/message center where both the employer/client and Adia can answer any questions or concerns you have. As long as you show up on time, and meet the requirements, the work is good, and you get paid right on time. The app uses location to verify clock-in time and clock-out times. Everything you need to know about the details of what when and where you worked are available in app. The apps UI is quite well thought out and a bit original. I like it. Well done guys!!
It just stopped notifying me of position. If I hadn't looked in my spam text folder, I wouldn't have known about a current job and when I got to the current job found out the guy I worked with in December has been there for 2 weeks, so a little disturbing that the app doesn't continue to notify me after I take a few days off. So someone changed my time card for an entire week in the beginning of January and it took until the last week of March to get paid almost $600! Communication suck!
I have used this App to go to a job that is not posted through Adia. Adia only pays me since that company has an agreement with them to process their paycheck. The problem is Adia has never processed my paystubs either in a timely manner or in one case they sent my payment for one shift of work in 2 separate checks and one month apart. I kept emailing them that I have never received my paycheck, and they did not care much. Took them 30 days to pay me. And they were really cold about it. I would not recommend this App. There are many other Apps that are on-time with their pay and do not make customers wait for a month. Do not do business with this company.
This app is very easy to use. You can pick jobs based on your own schedule. But booking gigs is very hard. I would suggest that the developers make changes to the app so that the "new gigs available" message shows up before the gigs appear and not after. Some people seem to be able to see and book gigs before others.
Adia had worked for me even if I don't get a lot of gigs. I guess what makes the difference is if you use Adia as a way of living or if you use it to complement your income. Sometimes it is hard to get someone to help you to solve an issue on a test session but for the most part I had been helped and other issues I had been able to solve them by myself using the information provided by the Adia Team. I enjoy working for Adia and be able to work from home and make some extra income.
I actually did 2 jobs back to back with adia and they only ended up paying me for 1 of those days only. Its messed up cause out of all the work platforms I got no one has done me like adia app. Also its almost impossible for you to reach out to support cause they never answer. All together they never paid me nor did they want to help me get paid. All I got from them was that the client said I was not there when in reality I was and the app would of blocked me had I not showed up to work!
Texted, calls, leaving messages are great if someone answer them...... Still Smile I need your help please . I know things get crazy sometimes, take a deep breath ...start over...see ya then!!!
Hi! I just downloaded the app and I am giving it a 5 because I like the concept and as I looked deeper... some of the features. I entered my address and it gave me an error message. I tried to fill out the jobs I would like and the last two are not completely filled out in regards to the information on skills that you wright out either rookie, skilled, pro. Lastly... When a job is selected by a user on your app you if the were to write out a message about their skill set w unlimited space
Customer service is horrible and they hid work shifts- say there's an error with your pay. Not a reliable PAYING Apps. Half a star if there was an option!
Stay away. They make you bid on long term assignments and pay following week . Clients can cancel and your given less than 4 hours notice and told to deal with it. They deactivate profile when you point out they expect you to sign up for multiple shifts and paying 10 days later on 1 shift that they are allowed to cancel with no notice
It was great! Fun an a unique experience I had alot of fun doing it but I would prefer to see gigs available instead of shifts that are already filled! I can't see anything new I have to wait until last minute but I had alot of fun doing it. That's the only problem that I have!
It is with great sadness that I have to tell the world this app will rip you off if you are not careful. I find it frustrating that even in one of the advertisement shots for this app, it states that it's simple to clock in and out. In my experience that is not accurate. I've had 5ish days where I couldn't clock out. the app wouldn't let me. At least I'm assuming that's the reason they shorted me like 300 on one check and 200 on another week.
I worked a day, checked in at the start of the day, but when the shift was over and I needed to check out. The app showed I never checked in at all. Now I'm missing a whole day of work haven't gotten payed... The employer sent my hour I sent a picture of my time sheet and still no response. This was not my fault, the APP malfunction and nothing has been done to solve my issue. I call the support center and never get through I leave a voicemail and never get a call back. Very disappointing 😞
Upsetting to say the least. Why is it so difficult to get thru to a real person. A real phone number and a real email? I'm supposed to be GOLD status...which says I get priority support. Well I haven't seen it. Oh and I'm supposed to recieve an AMAZING gift card...where is it? I don't get you guys. You have a business with no support for the independent contractors whom take gigs on your platform. What if an emergency occurs. App glitches. I worked and haven't been paid for 2 days. Hertz in AZ.
I like working for Adia, however since December 2021, it had been almost impossible to see any gig to catch. It has become a burden to be ready to catch them and only see numbers changing but no gigs appearing since they are being "fighted" by the lucky ones who can get to see the jobs. I used to catch jobs 3 to 4 jobs in a day, now if I am lucky maybe 2 or 3 in a week. CS are professional answering our questions (when they answer the many calls they receive)
I use this proctoring the SATs. Easy to use & their support team is helpful when asking questions. No issues when it comes to payment
They did not pay me for the hours I worked sad..I had left early one day n they lied n said I wasn't there I'll never work though this app again and I wouldn't recommend this app to nobody.
Not much to say here they never have any jobs available. I may see one job once a week and likely don't take the job because it's not something that I'm interested in. They don't give you enough details about the job nor do they tell you the location nor do they tell you if you would have a 30-minute break unpaid or an hour excetera. Also I have not even done that many jobs with this company but I have three stars, why when WONOLO and others ❤ ME! Trash
If I could leave no stars, I would. This platform has my account shadow banned and they are lying about it. No shifts/GiGs shows up to my app. No shifts are available to me ever.
I have worked with different gig apps for the last 2 years on and off and this is the best app I have ever found responding to questions the website is so simple there's no delays no hiccups no glitches it literally is the best thank you Adia!!!!! If you're looking for solid gigs with excellent pay this is the app for you
Adia is a great app for finding work! I've made thousands of dollars with them in short time. They pay faster if you have direct deposit set up. Customer service is on point and fast if you have questions.
It's looks like it works but as soon I get to the range it would kick me out even though I haven't left it
This app needs to be under review for identity theft of government documents. My reason for this, you can never contact anyone from support, you show up for jobs that is part of your task with Adia- Jobs on Demand also people complete jobs but never receive payment. When contacting support through the app and email, you do not receive any communication from Adia. If im not mistakeing you guys are getting free labor. I think we should all contact the US attorney general and file a complaint.
Adia is a fun way to find work, short or long-term. The app has a few improvements that could be made, but their excellent customer support makes up for it.
This app has been a godsend for me. I work a full-time job and was able to use Adia during my weekends off, covid closures, or downtimes at my other job. It was very convenient and easy to use and the pay was great! I love you using Adia.
The only part I don't like now is that I don't get a notification when the app shows new gigs.
This app has a great concept and is easy to navigate.. Initially. Once you get past the first few screens, the "privacy policy" they refer to is an invalid web page, and so it the user agreement. When it creates the profile the first step of the onboarding process leads to... You guessed it: another invalid / error message. 🤔
I completed the onboarding process almost a month ago and I keep getting a text message asking me to resend my information. I have called and am unable to speak to anyone. Just keep getting the same annoying text to send in information for my I-9. Uninstalling ASAP! This app is useless!
