Yay well done Adobe for really screwing up! Thousands upon thousands of users left out in the cold and disabling this app. OK, you can get your images and they're available but that's not the point! Adobe, please re-enable this or make it a 'no support available' app so we can use it at least! You're going to lose customers as we don't like the carpet pulled out from underneath us! Do the right thing!

I've been using this app for a while because it has some great brushes and stencils that I can't find anywhere else. When I started off things were amazing. It was running well and my art style has really grown incredibly. After less than 5 MONTHS of using it, it became increasingly more difficult to use. Things were slowing down like crazy, and I started to delete some projects thinking they were taking up room. Changing colors and deleting old projects takes forever, hardly an exaggeration.

I've been using Adobe Photoshop for awhile. And I've got to say, from what I've seen in the past, I am not impressed. The screen has faulty zooms, when zooming in or out, it lags and sometimes deletes selection of my sketch. I have been using it on my Galaxy tab, Samsung smart phone, and my ZTE. And to my surprise the only device that this hasn't happened with has been my ZTE. The brushes however, are very smooth and flattering in my opinion, the layers work as expected and the overlays are acceptable. The only problem I'm having is with the zooming. As a result, not my best my experience using Adobe, but still very useful and easy to use app. I'm satisfied, as it dose appeal to my whimbs. I'm sure the zooming is just a small bug, or something that could be fixed, or maybe it's something that I'm doing wrong. I don't know.

It's horrible if your actually trying to make art. Not much variety in brushes and though you can costumize them, it's confusing and hardly makes a difference. You also can't rotate the canvas, just zoom in and out. While there are many great artists on there that somehow make it work, I'd recommend Ibis paint to use instead. It's a much better digital art app than this.

Overall, this app is pretty good for some casual drawing. Most certainly not for for anyone trying to do something serious, but you can make some cool stuff nonetheless. I have a few issues, such as the slow speed of the undo button, the limited zoom, and the slightly intrusive size of the left panel. Honestly, this is a nice app to use. But a stylus is a must. 7.3/10

I love this app. However, it frequently crashes on my phone. I put in 3 weeks of work and kept on merging layers. I painted 22 layers and merged them into a single layer, but the project crashed once and I lost the entire layer. This was really frustrating for me. I would suggest the developer keep an option for version control. It is disheartening to lose 21 hours of work suddenly.

I want to love the app but the fact you can't collapse the tool bar out of the way is REALLY annoying. I'd fire whoever's idea it was to keep that open. Why not have a option to go full screen and less clutter? Controlling the shapes is extremely difficult like trying to simply rotate, size, or even just move. Couldn't imagine using this on a smaller phone. Definitely made with the mindset of a tablet not a phone. This is coming from a Note 9... a large phone. Searching for a different app now.

This app is a decent starter to digital art. but there could definitely be more. An example would be a more open explanation on hiw the app works, instead of leaving users blind to figure it out on their own. There is also limited layers, which isnt exactly ideal when creating digital art. In summary, good, but has far more potential.

A wonderful, simple drawing app with some really annoying glitches. Keeps duplicating my sketchbooks at random, so I have to delete the duplicates, and I've accidentally lost a drawing that way. Also added weird corruption to one of my drawings that I can't seem to erase or paint over. But it emulates pencil drawing better than anything else I've ever used, so I'm putting up with its weirdness, and I hope future updates bring improvement. Save anything you really want to keep to your device!!!

This used to be a half decent app for me. But there's one major flaw, the crashing. I could go on a rant on how stupid the crashing is. It happens at the most inconvenient times and it happens so often when I'm dealing with shading and other processor intensive things like shading. The worst part is it can erase whole drawings by the crashing, and there's no "save drawing" option to save it without pressing the "X" button at the top left, which crashes a lot too. I'll edit this when it's better.

So many options for creating custom art elements that I then can use in PS or other programs. There are a few feature that would make it much faster to use. A freehand selection tool and a way to lock parts of the finished area or something like layers to keep from messing up areas that are done. I currently save as a png as soon as I complete a part...not an ideal workaround. When using my custom brushes I am unable to build as it resets when you touch the screen again. A very fun program.

This app has really good options, despite the lack of pencils and pens. I love how the pencil works and how smooth it is. My biggest problem with this app, which is pretty big if you're an artist, is the lack of canvus control. This app won't let you change the canvus size or let you rotate your image on any devices besides IOS. As soon as that changes, I'll gladly leave a 5 star review.

I use this app to make my personalized portraits almost every day. I think the Adobe system is very good, I have been using Photoshop for over 20 years, unfortunately limiting the number of layers on the AdobeSketche also limits and slows down the work of the illustrator. I also have had some problems with closing the app for no reason, usually when the file is heavy.

Overall decent app and does what I want it to do. There are two main problems with this app though; one is that I can't turn my phone orientation to landscape. Even when the canvas itself is landscape the screen is frozen in portrait. It's tedious trying to draw that way since I get less of what I need in frame. The other issue is that the ruler tool responds slowly, if at all. Because of those issues I have to take a star off. Otherwise an easy to use app.

It's so buggy, I would way recommend Ibis Paint over this. You can only zoom in (a very limited amount) and no way to tilt the canvas as you draw. Extremely limited brushes. Adding a photo doesn't let you do much and it doesn't crop the photo to fit the canvas, everything's still there weirdly. It doesn't properly recognize a lot of the touch and when it does it won't go where you want. There isn't any really good options for colors either, it's near impossible to make different shades of grey.

Did very much enjoy drawing on this with my Note 8, but with a recent update it took away the ability to make custom canvas sizes, or at least have some variation that isn't just the size and resolution of the screen. I did notice there was more layers so that is a welcome addition than the 5-6 from before - but would really like to have different canvas sizes again. The app wont even recognize older drawings that were done on the same device but at a different canvas sizes, which is very stupid and bizarre.

Jos. B. Oct 1, 2019

The size of the tool bar is absolutely intrusive. On a note 10 it's an inch wide or more. The right side with the layers are also an inch wide. My screen makes then about another inch in the middle I can use. It's obnoxious that I can't hide it or put it somewhere else. The need for those icons to be so huge is just plain unnecessary. My work space is very little and because of that the app is almost unusable.

Tur. T. S. Jun 3, 2019

The app isn't bad for drawing or anything, but the gesture system for undo and redo simply do not work at all, especially on smaller devices. I've wasted so much time. It's giving me anxiety everytime i make a mistake, because I either mess up further or screw up my zoom. And some might say to just use the button, but I like to go full screen, so it takes too much time to click full screen off and on to just undo.

Ian. R. Jul 6, 2020

All together an okay app. The one thing that's an annoyance that I really don't like is the fact that it will randomly glitch. I'll just be minding my own buisness, drawing, and suddenly it will be like I grabbed a square of the canvas and just moved it, causing lines to appear all over the drawing. Very annoying. Update: Now it has decided to give me random notifications that "Adobe Sketch has stopped responding". Just hit wait, and it does fine. Still annoying.

The app has really good parts about it but also bad parts. I especially like the wide selection of brushes. However, what I especially don't like is how you can't rotate the canvas. I have to physically turn my phone to draw at certain angles. It's also frustratingly hard to use the undo/redo gesture. Overall it's a decent app.

Simple & Fun! It has all the tools I need, it's lag-free on my device, and the Projects feature is a nice touch. The UI doesn't get in the way, either! I don't like that you have to pay for a non-preset canvas, but you don't have to pay for a lot at all, otherwise. Won't give it 5 Stars, though. In other reviews, there appears to be a whole lot of Adobe shenanigans that don't sound good.

Sor. I. Jun 17, 2020

There is just no option to rotate the canvas by fingers. That's kinda awkward for a digital art app. People are suppose to maximize their time and effort by having these features. Also, it forces you to use your other hand like for example, to be able to see the size of the brushstroke, you have to use your left fingers to drag the brushstroke button or else ur not gonna see the size bc you right hand will be blocking it.

This app is pretty easy to use, but it is frustrating. Say I'm erasing something and I make a mistake while erasing. I undo the erase and I see white lines or boxes, so I have to undo until they're gone and then redo everything. Then, sometimes the layers won't move, so I have to wait until later to move them. When they finally move, I find out that the colors look bad and I could've fixed it earlier, but the stupid layers wouldn't move. This is very frustrating when you're doing a timed drawing

This app used to work so great for me in every way. Unfortunately as of lately it crashes SO MUCH! I can't even draw a line or change the color without the screen freezing. I've deleted and reinstalled the app numerous times, but that hasn't done anything not really. I figured that maybe it was my device, but this is the only app that gives me such a hard time. I hope it gets fixed asap...
