As a first time video editor, this app was great. Easy to use, enough features to do the basics. Biggest drawback: lack of options in title style. There are none. You get a basic sans serif, only black or white, only black or white background, no option to change the size. BORing! Otherwise, it's a nice app, I will just have to create intro cards and import.

Works well for editing, but the clips keep losing sound. It fixes when I restart the app, but it's really frustrating to restart constantly, sometimes every few minutes. It also can't save in the background, which is a real pain when it takes 20 minutes to process a 3 minute video and you can't even check a text message or answer a phone call while that's happening.

I love this app but have two conflicting issues with it. The first is that it takes a while to save a video to gallery and the second is that you can only add one music file to every video, which doesn't work with the fact that I primarily use this app to make videos for my YouTube channel. Please fix this as I don't want to have to dig out my old Apple IPhone 4 just to use a decent video editor. Thanks and feel free to reply and/or fix these issues

Everything you want in mobile video editing but... don't fall in love. It has bugs, but the most tragic one is that sometimes a clip randomly loses audio. Could be right away, could be the last edit you make before finishing. You might be able to wait, it remove and readd the clip and maybe get sound back, maybe not. Adobe has useless responses for it (they suggest use a different app, on iphone!) seems like they don't intend to really support this. I like it, but i recommend you keep looking.

It's so hard to split a clip accurately, whenever you take your finger off the bumper it jumps a split second in a different direction. There's no way to zoom in on the timeline to edit more accurately. No way to save portrait video. Looked into their help forums and they've have had these complaints for years. Most of the time I'm better off with a stock video app.

So glad I've finally found a free app which does pretty much everything I need - trim video, change order of clips, no annoying automatic effects, you can even turn off the audio fade in and out. So why don't you have vertical or square video as an export option! It looks like people have been asking for it for years.

This app is really good. It has the most comfortable way of using and modifying of videos. There is everything you need to make a good, not too complicated with effects, video. However, there are some drawbacks: I can't make a video faster, only to slow. I can't add different musics in different parts of a video. Anyway, Adobe Premiere Clip is the best app to work with videos.

Surprisingly bad coming from Adobe. Amazing lack of control over the clips, no speed up or crop function (basically 2 export ress: 1080, 720). Didn't tried the audio editing because it didn't recognize my music folder. Underwhelmingly basic color correction tools. I'll stick with Premiere on PC, I know is not a fair comparison but for editing pics on the fly Photoshop Express works a charm, I kinda expected the same. Mostly the crop and speed up (for time lapses) is what gets me the most.

It looks like it could be a great editor, it's so simple to use, when it works! every time I upload a video 80% of the time it crashes and the screen stays black for 5 mins so you have to restart your phone and keep on trying! the features are limited / basic but Its because of the crashing I'm uninstalling it. Fix it and I will check it out again.

When i first started using it to do a simple merge with a single stock transition between some small HD clips. I thought wow! This is fast! Smooth scrubbing! But when it came to rendering.. on an Octocore 1.8ghz phone.... 3.5hrs?!?! Are you kidding me? Another app doing the same render in HD took 20 minutes. It was a simple merger with simple transitions. That's it. No text, No adjustments, no nothing but merge and transition between clips. 3.5hrs! And this an Adobe product? Sad, very sad.

When Premiere Rush is released for Android, this app should simply be discontinued and thrown away, as it is bare bones and lacks a lot of features that would potentially match it with its renowned sibling, Premiere Pro. Instead, this app comes with a very poor selection of editing options, little to no effects (and these mostly in the form of color presets) and audio options. Not to mention transitions or graphics. Better luck with Rush, hopefully soon.

Seemed good at first. Has some nice audio features that I appreciate like fade in, fade out, and compression that I haven't seen in other video editors. BUT, every time I save a video from the app to my gallery, it adds in this annoying glitch in the audio at the start of the video. It's a deal breaker for me, so I uninstalled the app and will continue my search...

The app is good but missing some features like the ability to zoom in on clips and now apparently doesn't accept files over 5GB bit silly really. Also if it can slow clips why can it not speed them up? This app is about 3% capable of the desktop software, I did not it expect to do everything but missing some basics. No watermarks unlike other free video editing apps tho. + Auto save is nice. keeps freezing and crashing while editing.

Used it one time. Original clip was full screen, but Adobe decided that it was better to shrink it by 70% and put a black box all the way around it. Can't see anything in the video anymore, and nothing in the few settings would turn it off. Useless. Also have to "register" for Adobe's junk email, and whomever they decide to sell your information to.

For the most part, it's an excellent, free video editor. My only major gripe is the user interface for setting in/out cut points is really awkward on a relatively small phone screen which makes for very rough time selections. Adobe needs to learn from YouTube and activate a finer-grained slider when the user dwells their finger on a part of a clip so they can scrub through with more precision.

This app is simple to use and great for maybe creating ideas on a go. Outside of this the app is awful unless you use the presets. This is not an app for anyone who wants to TRULY customize their videos. The audio compression of my music files is quite literally disgusting, makes it sound like it's coming out of a megaphone inside a tin can.

I have a OnePlus 6T and it doesn't work. The app won't open the camera. Shame because it seems like it would be the perfect video counterpoint to Lightroom. From what i read, it is a common issue with OnePlus phones going back awhile. It seems like the app cannot get access to the camera because of a mic conflict with google assistant. Maybe. i couldn't get it to work either way so it is something more.

Edited a video just to realise that my originally vertical video gets exported horizontally, which means huge black bars on each side. Given that we're living in a time where vertical videos are not a "filming sin" and smartphone displays are stretched just to fit vertical media consumption, the app should support it. 1 Star for not having such an essential feature, something I'd actually be willing to pay for.

Crashes all the time. If I switch to manual edit the clips all the transitions become glitchy. Trimming to precise times is impossible. Clips will copy themselves & extend times automatically when a color grade is applied. If you change the color grade it does that again. There is not an undo feature. Rendering stops if the app loses focus on the screen or you turn the display off. Rendering takes a LONG time. The app is constantly syncing to CC so I can't send to Premiere Pro, even short clips.

I use Adobe for video on the pc, so was interested to try it on the phone. Usability was fine, but the lack of option to turn off sync made my decision to go to another app easy. I don't want to upload the raw materials for every project - just the finished product! Would be interested to go back to it if I could turn off sync.

Almost everything in this app is good but there is one thing that is really annoying! It doesn't show us the timing of the video during trimming it, which means i can't trim it precisely without having to watch the video and set the start and finish point which is a very tedious task!

I really like this app. Simple and great in making flash card videos for my daughter. I like how I can control the duration for each clip and I have the option to stop photo motion (which I find so annoying that I can't do this in most other video apps). However, may I suggest if the developer could please add some simple transitions? That will be really great.

A. G. u. Mar 11, 2019

super complicated to add sound-,visual-effects on the terminated timeline.. as far as i know, you need to duplicate the clip, add the effect to the duplicate and then cut it perfectly fitting to another.. can't find an easier solution with google/ecosia.. please add the feature from premiere pro cc, Select In & Select Out. so we can add effects extremely easy. and a simple "Start at:"-option for the soundtrack tab.. it triggers the sht outta me, that i cant click on "Start at 00:00"..

Okay first of all its great for like 20 second clips other then that, it doesnt render videos properly and can randomly lag constantly. Lastly only save videos to your gallery or they disappear i tried to upload straight to youtube, took about an hour on a 4 minute video, and then it deletes my video and i cant find it anywhere, and its not on youtube. I also used it through this email account which is the same as my youtube email. To solve this and fix my review. WHERE THE HELL IS MY VIDEO.

This is a super basic video editor built for super basic videos. It is not capable of editing simple interviews with b-roll/photos. Or voice overs in general. I had hoped that Adobe's Premiere video editor for mobile would have been built more for the people who tend to invest in extensive tools that can expand their capabilities (in other words, their subscribers). One pro compared to other editing apps: I can remove the watermark, as a paying customer of CC...
