ADT Go: Personal Safety, Family GPS & Safe Driving

Average application with premium features that you can get included with free apps of the same kind. You would think that ADT subscribers would get full access as a perk of being a customer but instead your hit with a 9.99 price tag per month. Will stick with free apps for the time being. The ads may be annoying but a fully functional product without the sticker shock is worth it.

Doesn't work 100% of the time This app overall is ok. It provides peace of mind for my family and I knowing that our loved one arrived safely to and from their desired location is nice.The app doesn't always notify when arriving and leaving set places like it is supposed to. It would be nice if the location would update more frequently than the lowest setting of 15 minutes. The apps version of phone usage, hard braking and quick acceleration a little to be desired. Not quite accurate.

During the trial period this app was awesome, but now that it is included with our monthly monitoring through ADT, it is sketchy at best. One (or more) of our family members' phones keep dropping off and are not reporting where they are. And, during the trial it updated every 60 seconds or so. Now we're lucky if it updates your location once every 30-40 minutes! I am quite frustrated with it and it makes me wonder about security we have with the expensive alarm system by ADT.

Loc. services are always off by a few blocks. Sometimes it shows me home when I'm 36 miles away. Drve detcn rarely works. I wouldn't depend on the SOS button unless you know the address, cross st, city and street.. In which case you might as well just phone 9-1-1 Working with support for months. They've set my phone and the problem just gets worse. Noonlight is great, (free) app with paid features like crash detection. also follow you the entire time gps which ADT only knows where u pressed SOS

This app is extremely useful for keeping track of each other's whereabouts. Like with GPS, it improves the more you use it. However, sometimes it is inaccurate and shows incorrect location and the distance driven differs from what my car reports at the end of a trip.

Extremely poor updates, but on the very rare occasition that it does update, the accuracy is good. The system states it will update every 15 min but that is NOT the case and the other phone beind tracked has excellent cell coverage and power. We have been trying to use this app for almost a year with very poor results.

Worked well before. Recently it ALWAYS shows that my family members "phone is off or no connection" making the app useless. Fix these issues with people being shown offline but their signal and data show they're phones are operating properly. This app is becoming hit and miss. Please fix. Otherwise it USED TO BE a good app. Make it good again.

There seems to be two modes: "Basic" or "Premium". "Premium" costs $9.99 a month. When signing up, I was able to choose "Basic". When I launch the app, it says something like: We're sorry you're not a Premium customer. Then the app blocks all features. I don't want the premium features, basic is all I need.

This really sux...what happened ADT???? ...I've had ADT Go for the past 6 months and it was great, then all the sudden it now says I have to pay $9.99 per month or delete account. I never knew this was a trial version!!! I'm confused and frustrated with ADT to say the least!!! I've now deleted and will open a Life 360 account instead.

I had Life360 app which worked ok, but switched to ADT go after it was suggested by ADT customer service. This app does not update real time or 15 minute intervals like it says. My daughter could be at school for 2 hours before it updates location, or be home from school for the same amount of time before location is updated. No real point for me to keep this app since it doesn't do the basic thing I need it to do. Will probably delete and go back to Life360 or similar app.

Since last app update location doesn't update in real time or the 15 minute intervals.. its just updates whenever. Ive deleted & reinstalled, restarted the phone, tried to update the app again & played with various settings. This app use to be very good, kind of a waste now.

Right now this app is currently really annoying, telling me that my location services are never on when they clearly are, I dont know what is wrong with your app but once I updated my phone it started breaking and notifying me about my location being off. Please fix this, it's incredibly annoying.

The app keeps asking for my location. Not sure if it has to due with phone type. I have a Samsung, my family have iPhones. Theirs works fine, as soon as I close out the app it says I am not sharing my location. This is very annoying and seems like it drains my battery more now.

Sad. We use this app all the time to track our family. It's not perfect, and updates are a bit delayed, but it's helpful to let us know where people are when we're wondering and peace of mind to help us find each other if someone gets lost or needs help. Now it's not being supported anymore in favor of some dedicated personal safety sos app. That's not what we use it for! There isn't another app that does what this one does for us.

I used life360 and enjoyed it. My wife got us a subscription to this and I hate it. This ADT App uses Life360 with it's own software running on top of it, so I thought I would like this app more. In general I found people's locations do not update like they do in Life360, and the alerts are slow. I found when I'm talking on the phone with someone and I'm looking at this app, their position will not update. I could watch someone on Life360 while talking to them and receive the correct position.

no location accuracy in any city we travel to. my sons phone shows location turned off when Its in my hand and I have it turned on. highest rate of speed is inaccurate also. I hope this can be fixed in time.

i have used this for over a year and now it won't allow me to access until i update. i try to update 3 times now and it downloaded for over 24 hours each time and still will not install.... just about to find a new security company. i had ADT pulse on my Motorola Android, and it worked fine for over a year. about 2 weeks ago, when I tried to use the ap, I got a message that i could not use until i updated. over the next week, i tried the update about 4 times but it just kept saying downloading

I dont really like the app. Life 360 worked so much better. Adt go is always wrong and late. It's not real time. It's always 2-3 hrs late on notifications. I'll be deleting it and getting something else

Had this app for sometime now and the only reason I got it was for my 11 year old and that is the one phone that this app keeps telling me has no network service or wifi is off . When the app was free it work flawlessly ever since if been charged for the app it doesn't work for the one I need it to , I will be canceling this shortly if I cant get this to work for the reason I got it I can waist my money elsewhere

Love it, get to watch my husband as he moves around town working. If one of us has a problem and need help the directions to the location are available. Really valuable app.

Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I wanted to track my weekly driving, it always says no driving this week. I drive 200 plus miles a week so that part of the app doesn't work. Glad I don't have to pay for this or I would trash it.

I didnt know i had a free trial...fine but when a had the choice to upgrade for 9.99 a month or basic is free there wasnt no where to do it..i emailed them and still no reply...i dont need all the stuff on the upgrade..just the basic free is all i need..now i cant even open it...

app was great until they started charging for premium, after that and the update to it, it is very far behind. family member arrives home and is here for 20 minutes and then it send alert. will not actively track family members it is always 17-20 min behind and no I dont need to update app on my phone it is up to date

DO NOT INSTALL!!! If anyone is saying this is the best app I DO NOT BELIEVE THEM! THEY WILL take your money and not deliever. This is the worst app. They did and upgrade now, the app does not work. When we call we are told to email when you email we are told to call. The people in my circle are not coming up. I called 2 twice and have been transferred over and over. With no results. This company is nothing more than a RIP off! Be aware!!! do not use this company!

biggest waste of money. I was asked to pay a year in advance. I paid out $1800 and my service works half the time and never catches the stuff on camera that I need it to. I will not be renewing my service when it ends.

Location refresh rate is poor at best. I was much happier with the actual Life 360 app. Life 360 showed actual movement where this does not. I would use Life 360...not this.

ADT is a total rip off. Buyer beware. I cancelled after three work days as they just kept charging me more and more. 3 days is supposedly money back guarantee. They bounced me around for several weeks and now are telling me they are keeping almost 2k for the install job. They sent 3 techs out and blamed me for the extra people they sent. They violated their own warranty and after they took the equipment left holes throughout my home. Don't let the criminals in your home when seeking security

I just had an ADT security system installed recently, and I was told I could use this app for free when I'm not home. I'm unable to open this app on my phone...very disappointed because I love the system. I've talked to several people in customer service, but no one has been able to give me any answers. I would love to be able to use this app.

The app will not let me reset my password nor cancel the service. I called adt and the referred me to the app developers who sent an email that they will get back to me. This app is not customer friendly. This experience is making me rethink ADT as my home monitoring service. 4 months and I am OUT.

Had it at 4stars because of lag on accuracy, but now at 1. Found out not free. ADT charges you $20 a month and does not notify you at all. Found out when my ADT bill went up. Ck before u download.
