Nothing on this app works . Can't connect any devices with out getting an error or connection time out. When app is closed, Devices & rooms added aren't saved. App keeps asking you to upgrade but then fails the upgrade instillation.
The recent app update is a big step backwards. Existing bulbs can no longer be organized into rooms. There is no intuitive way to simply turn lights on and off from the app.
Great when it works. Which is not very often. Also, the claim that there are thousands of colors is inaccurate. Basically you have a few plus the ability to brighten or dim. It's enough colors really but definitely falls advertising. There was an update if you weeks back that removed the ability to restrict permissions? At least that's how it read. No bugs were fixed lol. I would move past this thing pretty quick.
***update*** Having regular issues with connectivity betweey cree bulbs and Eria control station, the control station and Alexa, and the control station and the app. The issues range from Alexa not being able to turn on/off bulbs, the app shows incorrect status of the connected devices i.e. bulbs are off but the app shows them on and vise versa. The app shows failed connection to cloud and control device. I'm still having fewer issues than I did with my previous device (hue v1).
This app does not work. You can never get pass the terms of service no matter how many times you press I Agree. Since you cannot set up an account, you can't use the hub. Returning the hub and staying with Smart Home. Their helpdesk was no help which is logical considering the app isn't working and to get it to work would require either an update or a patch. To make maters worse, the app will only install on certain Android devices. Of the 3 phones ( all Samsung's models S7, a S9 and a S10's) and one tablet, the app would only install on the Samsung S7 though the Android OS in all the models are above the minimal required and all had enough more than enough memory required. Customer service sent me a message stating they are aware of the apps issues and will have it working and pushed out no later than 5-11-2020. I ask you, what company develops an app for Android phones and never test it on the most popular Android phones? The company is doing nothing but making promises to fix the app. I was told it would be fixed by 5-1-2020. The app has received no new update since March. I recommend returning any ERIA products you have as they obviously don't want to be in business for very long.
This app is awful. I bought 12 lights (like 35 bucks a piece) that are compatible with this. It's garbage. It crashes. It doesn't recognize lights. It's inconsistent. Sometimes the scenes work and sometimes they're just gone. If I knew this I would have went with other lights.
Was easy for me. Installed quickly. Was even able to connect power USB to modem USB. Connected schlage lock with no problem and had all program features including remote lock/unlock & adding/deleting codes. History doesn't include which code was used to lock/unlock so docked a star. Would be 5 star otherwise.
App won't even open. Just crashes immediately. I've made sure all permissions are allowed, I've u installed and reinstalled a half dozen times or so, I've restarted my phone, and I've checked their website, but no information anywhere. Can't use these lights, I guess...
I bought this hub to replace my Wink hub as they suddenly wanted to charge me for the control of my lights. I connected 6 downlights and the setup went smooth, the controls look more responsive and faster then before . So far it is all working great without a monthly charge .
Using my Adurosmart Eria bridge to control a Zigbee GE Dimmable Smart switch. Can turn the lights on and off manually with the app, but can't get an automation to work. It won't turn the lights on, but will turn them off automatically. Difficult to find any useful help either in the app or online support.
Poor UI. It can see an Aquara/Xiaomi device and appears to pair but after tapping "done", it isn't added anywhere. Eventually gave up. No explanation. Not compatible with my new Android phone; had to install it on an old tablet.
The app already had issues. It was slow and I'd have to restart it to get it to work. Then I installed the latest update and it won't work at all, won't even go past the intro screen...
Complete garbage. Recieved item and setup a return to amazon within an hour. Couldnt even signup with the app because it wouldnt allow me to accept the user agreement no matter how many time i pressed it.
To connect a hub you have to scan the QR sticker on the bottom of the hub instead of simply pushing the button on the hub to confirm that it's the right one, if there is an error with the code you are SOL
Can't even sign in. First it wont even verify. Tried on another phone and never received an email for password. Pathetic. Useless. Waste of money. Didn't even say if it needs extra stuff like a hub for Google assist. Lame. Better just buying the actual bulbs than non google brand.
would gladly give it a zero if possible. just does not work with their own bulbs no connection. garbage. add to that when purchased from amazon stated no bridge needed but on bulb package their bridge highly recommended.
The eria hub is great, it is a very good system with reasonable price, can work with my current ZigBee items together. The light bulb also ease to install and the updated app are more user friendly.
Not a very good product at all and lose his memory easy very hard to set up the app can't remember your password it is a very terrible system would not recommend this to anyone ever
Issue got fixed, but the app is still not really good looking
App just opens and immediately closes, uninstalled and reinstalled, even rebooted phone (pixel 4a 2020), works just fine on my moto g 1st gen (2013).
Units can be set but are not uniform through app, Not an intuitive app.
Crashes immediately on my pixel 4a5g. Works fine on my wife's galaxy note 8.

I installed this app after Christmas 2021. It will not update to version 3 and most of the app does not function. I use Google Home to group then into rooms and change the items name and it functions, most of the time. There seems to be no support. They told me to connect the hub to the WiFi when it's already connected via Ethernet cable.
