This is the best downloader available for Android. It's not as good as IDM/XDM on Windows, but it's good enough. Why only 3⭐? Because it have a problem in rendering many web pages. And also the browser can't stay in background. If you minimise the app in the middle of webpage loading, the loading will stop. This is way too annoying.
Great app. I used the pro version since day one. I know Android Pie made it difficult to grab links but if you share to adm you can grab the link. One problem though is that the download list is blank and you can't see what you just downloaded. Please fix this and you will get a 5 start from me. Overall, it's a fast and ok app.
almost like IDM for PC except that it cant DL YouTube videos directly. On the other hand ADM Browser must be optimized, because whenever I rotate the screen from portrait to landscape (vice versa) the page tends to reload. Overall it's a must have if you like downloading stuff from Browsers because its faster than Chrome or other browser's default downloading software.
Update 19 Oct 18: ADM no longer automatically starts downloads. The Chrome / Android download manager downloads the file each time. I know it was working for me prior to using Android 8.0. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This app is great! However, I need to be able to alter the priority of the notification. Thank you.
Great app I always moving large files from one device to another with my job. Having this helps so much to speed up file transfer speeds at least 7x faster. It would be nice if you could do more than 9 threads but 9 definitely gets the job done quickly.
it's a fantastic app that is totally worth every penny. just one suggestion- I'd love to have a feature in which downloaded contents are categorised. for example, episodes of a tv show goes into a dedicated folder corresponding to its own title so that there would be lesser clutter in the adm folder.
Recently bought the pro version just because I really liked the free one, so I thought they deserved it. Great app, perfect to manage heavy file downloading, besides letting you choose the name of the file and the place to download it to.
Ive been using this for very very long and its always been great. However the recent update caused it to break, i think others have also brought up this issue. the free version also doesnt work for me. Hopefully you can sort this out soon.
Used to work perfectly earlier. But since a while, it doesn't auto pick up links from chrome. I guess some settings in chrome has changed or this app needs an update. Will rate back to 5 stars of this issue is somehow fixed.
UPDATE of 02-15-2019: doesn't support latest chrome: i can understand that... At least, now i know... All this time without any updates can make people a bit mad. I'd never ask for a refund. I guess the time it worked was well worth the little investment. Thanks for the effort and especially for letting me know what is happening... Hopefully, you'll figure a workaround out! 👍
This advaced pro app completely handles all of your downloads, quickly reducing how long it takestodownload. Also manages download storage filing. It easily sorts by name, size, time etc. Excellent a d easy to use. Simply the best.
it does not automatically start the download! i have to manually copy paste the link to it's own browser for it to start the download! USELESS! oh and the app is so dumb, that doesn't understand when you hit the back to go out it suppose top close itself! you have top exit the app manually!
great app, very reliable and great at handing multiple files over a long period of time. by far the best downloading apolication for android which it would automatically intercept chrome links rather than cooying them but i have a work around.
My all time favourite app. My connection isnt the best and downloads often cut out, but thanks to this app creating an empty file before hand I never get cut outs, and the ability to redirect downloads to my SD card is awesome, saved me money on buying a new phone. Thanks for a great app.
It downloads files faster and can continue a download that is stopped. It can also automatically restart downloads that fail and it allows you to download pretty much anything.
Buggy, doesn't start up anymore from browser where it used to be awesome to download stuff. Been having problems for almost a year, latest update doesn't fix it. Uninstalling and moving on. This is on a Moto g5
no longer does anything. it downloads stuff and takes ages in doing sp although when its finished and I try to play nothing happens and there is nothing in my gallery I'd there is I try to play it and it says not found.... tried to download stuff again and the files keep deleting themselves randomly !!
Price??? That's totally worth it. Never had a problem with this app, for past 2+ years. Takes few minutes to understand thw working. once done, then you will surely amazed by the way it works.
had the free version for about 5 minutes which in itself locks away no features and had small ads, but after seeing how fast and easy it was to grab and enhance a dl url i had to buy it, thankyou so much for this wonderful creation :)
please update or fix pro version, downloads were really fast on free version. I upgraded to pro version, which resulted in way too much lag!. I am using Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
(8/5tbh) I have never had a bad experience with this app. Simple,clean, and easy to use for sure. Peforms excellent in all areas.
The free version seems to possibly export the download list, but this pro version didn't import the full list. Important to finish downloads with free version before upgrading to this.
Today i was checking today's data usage by apps in data usages. i found that ADM Pro was used 1.3 GB. Then i checked details of ADM Folder. it was contains only 400 mb of downloaded content. And i also did not used browser of ADM Pro. I Doubt that ADM Pro doing something strange in my mobile without of my knowledge. I uninstalled this app today
no longer automaticlly intercepting links from Chrome or Brave. kinda usless for what i bought it for. been like this for months now. bought it only so i could write this review. might refund later. update: OpenLoad links no longer work in the in app browser making ADM Pro even more useless.
Very nice download manager, but I found bug. When I'm export download from txt file, I can't apply schedule to all exported files. I'm using MIUI 10.4 Android 9.
This app was very difficult to understand. When using their browser, received "SSL CERTIFICATE ERROR" for every site. Tech support was responsive but could not give me answers or solution. Uninstalled and they gave me refund. Thank you
This app works as advertised. I'd like it to include the option to automatically rename files with the same name rather than having to select it every time.
Is there any way to disable or switch off the internet browser? This app is 5 stars, but the browser hijack links I want to open in my choice of browser. EDIT: Thank you, can disable browser and use the awesome Download Manager without worries.
Still a very good download manager that does what its supposed to do, fully customizable, and convenient to use. My only problem with this app is its "Smart Download" feature which for some reason makes my download speeds very slow compared to using the "Classic Download" feature. Not really much of a trouble since you can just turn it off but maybe it can be improved.
