Advanced English Dictionary: Meanings & Definition

I love this app, actually it's much diverse and not only focuses on the word of interest but also extents to reveal details around the word,...I mean synonyms, antonyms..e.t.c,,good work to the developers!!!! And before I forget,let me recommend this app highly as I remind you that it's AD free!!

This is a very good app to be used by everyone, I really love it because not only the meaning of the word but also the pronunciation and other extra learning materials like idioms, quizzes etc.

Nearly good. But user interface needs some attention. For instance if you lookup a word and go back the word you just typed disappeared.

I admire the collective words it control and correction during typing, so for that I advice you should upgrade more on it. Thanks. I appreciate your modernisation of the viewers pages, that's good, my support to you always.

I always find the meaning correct and appropriate and reliable. It's handy and smart. It has covered the legal maxims as well. I wonder how you have adjusted the legal terminology. It's fine yet doesn't aid & give idioms & expressions pertaining to various words. I would be over enthusiastic to have them, eg fast: "drive at lightening speed" installation is quite smooth

Ads is too much, it takes time to even get the words searched for. I suggest that the ads be removed totally. I can give you only two stars.

Excellent app. I like that it works offline and also gives additional translation options. It would also be much better if it works completely offline.

The app is good, at least it contains not only dictionary. But what I don't like about it is that it isn't flexible; when u write a word like 'LOVE'and it gives u the meaning, then u try cancelling that word, the app automatically takes u back to a new empty space. No options. Unlike other dictionary apps I ve used, it will direct u back to your initial word LOVE or maybe letter L. By this, u can discover new words under letter L or LO, LOV which u may have been searching for or never thought of

It's very easy to use and practical. I like the added features like expressions, sentence master and the rest. Simply outstanding. Keep up the good work.

I've been using it for almost 3 months now. though it has ads as other apps do yet those ads doesn't very annoying unlike other apps.

I've got to be honest,it's simplified,easy to understand,I enjoyed everything ,always ready to learn everyday from the dictionary,our children needs this to improve their English studies

This app has enhanced my vocabulary. It gives detailed meaning to a word and it makes English language comprehensible. I also like the fact that the app has fun games and brain teasers.

Even though I bought the paid version, the app did not recognize it and keeps offering me paid version prices and keeps showing me adds.

I really love this app because it have a good amount of words and i can access them without internet but i would like the next update to have a little tab or somthing that i can use to add words thats not in the app because when i type them its saying i should go online and then its still not saved to the app i would really like it if that was in it but still keep up the good work.🌝

It is good but there a few words you might find missing and you end up having to look them up online which is a hustle.

It is a good app it helps people to know the meaning of words but it is slow when downloading it's ads are too much but the app is good

This dictionary is not comprehensive. For instance, it does not have these words such as flibbertigibbet, prescind etc. But I must confess, the dictionary is sound. What you need to do is to add more and more vocabulary to make it somewhat autonomous to others. Add more idioms, phrasal verbs, prepositional phrases, English proverbs and meanings, types of figures of speech, meanings, instances and meanings. Add also grammatical guides to the use of English. Show good uses of each word in sentence

Too much delay in opening up the dictionary. All the time asking for subscribing. Its not available offline.

This dictionary is just simply exquisite, but one thing I would like would be dark mode... Please try to add that thanks

Ads are too irritating. It's so much disturbing. Moreover good and useful app. Ads should be stopped.😑

It's awesome, amazing,unlimited fun and it has helped me a lot in my English way of speaking.For sure this app is good and helpful.

I will give it 5 stars when it can remember the last place you left off. For example, on the 5000 vocabulary words, you start on the 1st word, tomorrow you come back you must start on the 1st word again!!, it would be nice and helpful if I could continue from where I last left off.

I like the way words have been organised. One doesn't have to click more than once to get the meaning. The pop up though are a little bit too much. Its a free app by the way.

Very good app, helps in learning English language with provided test to aid you in seeing your strength. Also has many topics in English language like phrases,idioms and among others. Good for all student both in primary ,secondary and even tertiary .every one must download this app.

Takes quite long time to launch. The ad at initiation annoys when it takes too long to get to dictionary.
