Advanced Offline Dictionary

Seems rather amateurish. When you enter a word, several definitions appear, each preceded by a star much bigger than the text; there's no option to change this to something less distracting or repetitious. The definitions look like they're from different sources (some are capitalized, some aren't), and there's an annoying, time-wasting redundancy between them. Perhaps you could study some good existing dictionary examples, rather than feeling you must "reinvent the wheel"?

I'm eating one star because the ads gives a problem especially when the the is enforcing you to install it and you can't even have an option to cancel or skip the ads. When you switch off yo phone and come back to app the will be there waiting for you install it I had to uninstall the app and reinstall it again but the problem is still persisting. The other biggest problem is that the people who are running this app they respond to our messages nor they don't solve the problem. 😡😡😡

This is the BEST among the other English dictionaries out there. Its wide-ranged inclusion of many words is only but one of the appealing features it has. As a medical student,there are times I have to look up some confusing medical terms. I recommend this for all and sundries. I didn't rate it five stars because I do believe that NOTHING IS PERFECT.

Looking good so far, better than other offline dictionary apps I have tried. Takes up a lot of space but I suppose that's inevitable! But... Nothing happens when I tap on a definition in the list - it "acknowledges" my tap but nothing. So, "Search inside definitions and examples" - how? I can't! Is this a bug? I thought I could tap a word within a definition, eg it says "See also crocus" but doesn't take you to 'crocus', you must type the word in the search field. And... It would be useful if the keyboard opened automatically without having to select the search field (maybe as an option). This alone wouldn't drop a star, though.

I'm about to uninstall this app because it bombards me with inescapable ads in a row. I just shut down the app, earlier, because I looked a word up, and had to x-ray of 3 or 4 ads, before getting to read my definition. Then I started the app up again. Got one definition, tried to look up another immediately after, and, again, had to quit the app because ads won't allow me to see my definition. It's a decent dictionary, but I'll install a different dictionary app.

Saturated with the most persistent ads I've had the misfortune to experience. It's a major struggle just to dismiss the ad. They fill the screen completely and when I close the app out of frustration and reopen it, the same ad is there waiting for me. Uninstalled. AN ABSOLUTE WASTE OF TIME. HAVE UNINSTALLED.

This app was the worst. Every single time I opened it. Up popped a full screen ad. Tapped the X and it took me straight to Google's app store. Barely escaped from there and guess what? Yeah, You guessed it. There is another one staring me right in the face. Not at all a good app. Beware. If the ad fiasco is any indication. Besides uninstalling it, where will I have to go to get it gone?

Great app I have been using this app for same time now and my only issue with it is that after the dictionary word is loaded the screen will go blank this has been happening for same time now. Which I think Should be dealt once and for all. You acted immediately and the issue was dealt with. I can understand the adds sime people can just say thanks for the free use of an app. Until they can buy the pro to avoid the adds.

5 ⭐s. Thanks for being the only offline dictionary I acknowledge. This is an excellent dictionary with a huge variety of words. I like how it remembers my past searches and when I start to type, it suggests them depending on the spelling. My criticism is that the definitions of the same words with the same meanings are repeated except just phrased differently. Those alternative seperate definitions make the app slightly disorganized. Aaand still fantastic! I find it useful.

This is a great app because it gives a variety of definitions, which makes finding the right definition easier. The only thing that could be time consuming are the adverts.

Mooler: It's one of the best dictionaries, I've ever come across on smartphones and I'm gladly to say it never turned me down on any day except for these pop-up lame notifications but it is a cool app though really it even helps to improve English performance, and there's no need for data charges if you don't have any. Mojo.!

This is the best English dictionary app. You never search word without getting it. That dictionary have a wider contents that may help English speaking to find out unlimited words. Impact, when you search a word the dictionary never give it in alphabetical order. And when you click to hear the word voice is no clear and sweet. This happened after I updated the app.

Great product. Only small inconvenience of ads. Other than that it offers a huge range of definitions et al so you don't have to go back and forth. Thanks.

This is a very helpful app. From the time I downloaded this app, it couldn't be left just like that, I had to use it. After this app in my phone, I don't have to search for def. from the dict. It saved my time. Impressive. Even my pronounciations have improved a lot. I love this app so much. Esp. because it helps with my studies. 💥💥💥

It is free and has almost meaning of every word.Unlike other dictionaries this app provides meaning of words in every cntxt.Also if we consider the feature of speech that also goes very well.One reason I do not like to use it unlike last year is that the app has engaged so much into advertising.Everytime I open it to check the meanings ads popup consecutively which makes it a bad experience.Ow the app is all good.I have been using it for almost 4.5 years now.I hope my review will be looked upon.

It's fast, and useful; massively comprehensive, providing conventional meanings and unique perspectives. The advanced offline dictionary is a beautiful modern lexicon in an 'antique' cover. A 21st century cover can make it much more popular.

Most useful and elaborately defined dictionary. I have been utilizing it since last 20 years.I have never found another dictionary which can compete with this one. I wholeheartedly greet and appreciate the compilers and editing staff of this mege, magnificent, deductive, educative, exclusively and elaborately narrated defined dictionary.

This app is good and simple but my problem with it is that it has too many adds, I mean you can't type a complete sentence without the adds distracting you, the ads are way too much and it wasn't like this before please work on that

Great way to increase vocabulary and look up words that may be common or only used for one field like quantum mechanics, which there's a word for that. Now do you know what that may be? The word or phrase is two neurons apart. Lack of use will steal your thoughts away. I'm the conscious neuron reaching for that single word or more likely a dissasociated bundle of memories. Eventually they will join the present sometimes not by trying really hard to recall but when I'm doing something else.

most amazing app. helps me in my studies... Saves time. Instead of searching the dictionary in the book, you just have to type the word and it appears. the pronunciation is very helpful.👍

Absence of speech button: You have to figure out for yourself that tapping on the word definition activates the speech feature. If you're not so lucky (or smart), you wouldn't know.

It's good, but I would really appreciate it if there would be an option to switch to light mode (i.e. light bg and dark text). Not all of us are comfortable with a dark bg.

Its a great thing that I could hear the pronunciation of the words I am searching for. For me, it would be even better if there are suggestions shown while typing. Sometimes there are words that you are not sure of the spelling. But aside from that, wonderful!

App is nonsense-too many adds, it goes blank every now and then, then adds keep popping up every minute, can't even tell you if the word you searching is found or not-all you see is a black screen -Won't even recommend this for my enemy

The annoying thing with this dictionary is that the ads take over your phone whilst you're in the middle of reading the meaning of a word. I feel like uninstalling it. But I'll hold on for just a little while to see if things will change.

This app is useful when it comes to a dictionary function. However, I dislike that it is able to pull me out of other apps just to show me an ad or two. I understand that I haven't paid for the app and I do like that it has helped me much, you deserve a good rating.

its amazing!Its now officially my only go to dictionary when im reading novels.Its explanations and descriptions are quite clear enough to help understand the words and terms better.Its really quick and thats impressive because i wont have to pause for long before continuing my novels.Thumbs up...i really love it.Arigato gozaimus😊
