Just tried this again, forgot that it was pretty much outdated and featureless. Really needs to get some useful additions, tone and noise generator calibration for mic, freeze and compare sweep that can be saved with some type of notation so you know exactly what you're loooking at. That's a problem with most of the audio apps, if you can save you can't label them so they have any use. Unless you take notes on everything it means nothing.

As an audio engineer I need good tools. This tool has allowed my work to be better because the features on this app give me the tools I need to see what is taking place in the audible frequencies. It displays the frequency response in a logarithmic form and what is what we are used to as audio engineers. Also the ability to change the averaging makes me feel the real the response is extremely accurate, while also allowing me to see the change over a long period of time. Best tool I could ask for

Like all spectrum analyzers, it takes a little getting used to, I'm still a little dubious of the under 100 Hz readings, even with the Dayton calibrated mic. But overall, it gives a working idea of how things are, and for a free app, you certainly can't think it's too expensive :)

I was looking for an FFT analyzer for use in setting up a new audio/video receiver for the frequency change over between the subwoofer and the other speakers. This tool allowed me to fine tune the settings suggested by the AVR for a markedly improved blending of the system. Really excellent tool, kudos to the developers! One suggested improvement will be the ability to expand the low frequency chart (10 to 150Hz) with more gradations (10Hz) increments to determine the subwoofer drop-off.

The app exceeded my expectations! I wanted to compare the frequencies of my ukulele to data from a research study on guitar string timbre and I was able to easily compare the data from this app to the charts in the study. 11/10 would recommend!

Really helpful to see this data for everything from speaker set-up to explaining physics concepts. Data seems to agree fairly well with more advanced lab gear and detailed FFTs.

Awesome APP as is but could be even better if it had the ability to save raw data, and not only a screenshot. It would be nice if the app could compare previous measurements with current data.

very good and easy to use functionality: 2 markers, peak hold, screenshot functionality, zoomable/scrollable frequency axis. features missing: scrollable/zoomable amplitude/volume axis, marker/reading for peak hold, display of 1-3 frequencies at which peak amplitude was measured.

Good resolution and plenty of configuration options. It would be nice to be able to get a data captue as csv or aimilar. A rolling soundprint view would also be a great add on.

Really like the functionality of the app. I just wish that there could be an option for loading a calibration file for using an external microphone.

Works pretty good, but has some issues shohing the exact frequency when I tested it with a tone generator: 416hz tone is shown correctly peaking at 416hz, but 417hz is also shown 416hz. And 418hz is 418hz. Am I doing something wrong or is it just the app? Edit. FFT was already set to max.

Excellent. Does what it says, and appears to do it very well. Split-screen would be useful (these things are becoming powerful enough that I want multiple active windows!)

Good, could be better. Nice fast app with high resolution. I wish it could also use the sound mixer for running apps (playing music etc) instead of just microphone.

Really well thought out. Excellent User Interface, probally one of the best. Well optimised code (excellent update rate and responsiveness on Sony Xperia. Compared to the Bosch app which is solid but slower)

Nice app, but needs some more features. The peaks cannot show dB amplitude only frequency Hz, and the markers does not work on peak hold at all.

I had this app before and have now made full circle after trying others with so called premium features. This is how a SA should work and is rock solid. I haven't tried it against my bench unit but for a quick idea of where your sound is, you can't beat it with another app.

AWESOME ! I am an ElectroAcoustical Engineer, and this app is fast, on-the dot, and reliable for snap EQ measurements. For the pro stuff (including RT60) I use AUDIOTOOL for many years now. Great job, kudos to you, devs...!

Great app, caught two people using -50mhz frequencies immediately which both stopped. Really works and is very easy to use so if your wondering about that fan or electrical box hum get the app to see if it's a health hazard.

I'm 30 year sound engineer. I tried to tune my truck system with this and it did not show any difference on the graph as I made huge differences on my system. This was totally worthless for me.

Wow, I am impressed! Very clean presentation. Does exactly what is advertised. I will be using this app as a tachometer to set motor running rpm.

quite ok analyzer. i like the high fftn option and averaging. but it is enjoying that plot axes (zoom) are reset after any configuration change .

The best spectrum analyser!!! I have tried many but this seems the most advanced and fully configurable app. Highly recommended!

Helps with research and studies in linguistics! Probability of this? Perhaps Irwin Schrödinger and his accursed cat can help. If all else fails ( u r not a phd it's fun to make noises and watch the wave thing Jump Around! We happpy. 〰〰〰it hz! ouch!

Ray. T. Apr 18, 2021

Very Impressive. If you change this app, can we have access to change the Y axis as we can the X, so we can alter the amplitude to cut off the baseline noise?

Mr.. T. Apr 30, 2019

Very professional app. Please consider adding a 3D analyzer option to also measure the pulse width of the sound, it will make it even better. Good work!

Much better than other RTA apps that I tried. Instantly increased SQ in my truck by turning down 2 frequency bands. Best you can do with out a DSP.

Mic. S. Dec 19, 2018

Seems like a good program, but it only goes down to 64Hz, and I need to measure frequencies below 64Hz. Uninstalling.
