Adventure Escape: Allied Spies

This is an alright game so far. The puzzles actually make you think, I even had to use hints for a few of them. One of these puzzles in particular I truly believe I would have never gotten the answer had it not been for buying a clue. (Developer: Button suitcase). The Jockey puzzle I tried for over an hour to solve, put it down and came back the next day (hints had filled up again) and used a hint immediately. I was blown away, I hadn't noticed the lines by. Loved it.

I'm guessing this game wasn't meant for mobile. I finally got frustrated and gave up (near the end of the game-sadly) because of a puzzle that you can't solve on your phone. Several of the other puzzles are next to impossible on your phone, as well. (tracing lines you cant see under your finger and dragging stuff off screen, but you run out of room and have to start over). Most of the puzzles are Ok but there's alot of guessing. Graphics and good, decent story line.

I really liked this one, and I was not expecting to! For a story in a bleak setting, it is actually quite colorful. The choice to set it in the period right *before* WW2 is innovative. As for time commitment, it should take more than one sitting, but can be completed in, say, a weekend playing casually. Definitely gets a spot in my top AE titles.

I like this game very much, it's very exciting and thought through. But just one thing though, the part where Marie was being chased by soldiers is very frustrating, because she moves SO slow, and the soldiers are much faster, so it is very frustrating to solve. Also I would recommend if the buttons to control her are on the side of the screen(not on her icon that's super small). That way we can control her better, even if the speed can't be helped. Very nice game though 👍

I've loved all of ae mysteries games up until this one, so I hope this is just a one-off. The puzzles in this one were a bit of a reach in some parts. When hints were needed, they were telling me what I already knew, an unhelpful waste of stars. There was also a lack of stars to find, which made the -useless- hints harder to get. It was also pretty buggy, I'd do things and it wouldn't trigger the completion, or I'd go into a new zone and be stuck with a black screen, had to restart many times.

I've played a few of the Adventure Escape games at this point, and in general I'm quite fond of them. This one had several issues. Puzzles were overly sensitive to certain aspects, the rope and key retrieval puzzles were exceedingly difficult to navigate or did not end despite finishing the puzzle and some explanation on certain aspects would have been more appreciated, especially if this is someone's first game from this series.

I love these adventure games. This one is one of my favorite, but did run into a problem. Ch.7 at the fight, I can not hit the redo button. It also takes me straight to the fight. I can not see book. And once Im done matching pictures to the numbers, it stays frozen. Please fix problem. I love this game. I still give 5 stars because I have played 13 other adventure games and had no problems what so ever. These games give a challenge, but are worth it.

once you get to the part where you have to get the key out with the tweezers you cant get any further without buying stars to skip it be cause it doesn't let you get the key out. once your finger gets to the top of the screen it still doesn't count as it making it to the top so you fail it. I tried it so many times to the point I'm upset and disappointed enough I had to leave the game. plus all the hints are practically useless and it always throws you into puzzles without any instructions.

The controls on this one has been the worst so far. The schamatics puzzle was difficult to get correct & then when it was I couldn't get it to lock in, I finally used my stars to skip, it didnt save at that point, I got interrupted, when I came back game started at beginning of lvl, had to do the puzzle anyway as my stars were gone. Took a lot of manuvering/time to lock puzzle in. Same with other puzzles to the point you think you must have something wrong. I used all my hint stars & needed more

Click hints for "0 star" cost instructions! For a free game, this was quite enjoyable. I realized way too late that the puzzle instructions were listed under hints and cost 0 stars, but once I caught on, it raised the game from 3/5 to 5/5 for me. No ads, decent puzzles, free hints & the story is interesting, too. It's different from, say, Lost Lands because you do need some amount of deductive reasoning & this is shorter. I'd compare this to Agent A (great game!) both in theme and difficulty.

I couldn't complete the game. During the fight scene in Chapter 7, it would freeze after I beat all three guards. I restarted the game multiple times to get the same result. I uninstalled it, then reinstalled it to see if I could start from where I was, but it wanted me to start from the beginning, so I uninstalled it again. Good game otherwise, but I'm not playing through it again just to be unable to complete it if it glitches again.

The hardest one from all Haiku Games that I've played! (I think I've played all that are available on Android). Crazy hard but crazy fun as well! The storyline is amazing and legit, and the puzzles are challenging and equally creative. To be completely honest I need to go 3-4 times to youtube to view some solutions but overall it's a fun experience! Looking forward for more from Haiku!

Love all of the Adventure Escape games. I do wish that they'd improve/expand some of the touch spots. I almost deleted this one before making it past the lanterns in windows puzzle at the beginning of the game. The touch spots were ridiculous. I had to tap maniacally all over and around the windows to place the lanterns. But I did make it past that part and have had no more issues thus far.

Nice game, again! Another nice game developed by Haiku. Challenging puzzles and interesting storyline. Yes, some of the puzzles are really tough, but they really make sense, I didn't spend any star for hint. You just need to be patient and be observant. I didn't complete it last year after installed, then 3 days ago I continue playing, and now I've completed without spending any star. Free to play. Great job!

I usually love all the adventure escape games but this one is not so great. There aren't many clues in some of the chapters to tell you what to do. Then in chapter 7 I completed the fight but it doesn't give me any stars nor does it move on past the end of the fight. I can click on other things and it responds so it's not froze it just doesn't move on. Please fix this and I'll rate it higher.

AE games are it. Trying to figure out the clues and suspence during the figuring makes this game really enjoyable. Another of the top of the charts games that works and is doable for many people. Another is the Cube series games. If the Adventure Escape series is as good as this game, my first, then I look forward with great anticipation to a future of more of these games. Great work to the programers. I tip my hat off to you, and the whole crew, that made it possible for our enjoyment

It's a fun game, but they need to figure out better puzzles - some are either illogical, have arbitrary solutions, are ridiculously long, or require a dexterity difficult to achieve on a cell phone screen - give me a break. Dumber puzzles aside, there's variety in story, characters and puzzles - enjoyed it.

I love Haiku puzzles and games, but unfortunately this one has too many bugs, for instance, any assembling puzzle I have a big problem with getting through because of pieces disappearing or going to the side so much that they can't be retrieved, and not even a restart button, I had to close the game completely and then relaunch it. very frustrating indeed

Great games, but.. Puzzles too intricate, leaves you feeling lost. Had to depend on online walkthrough too much. The horse and another puzzle just did not work (even after watching a walkthrough on it) Needed the arrows from the horse puzzle to advance, had to use 30 stars to pass it. (Was what I did, puzzle broken) Didn't finish game because of another puzzle, gave up.. End of the tutorial, starting bonus of 50 stars, only gave me 5. Connecting to FB 5 star bonus, got nothing.

i have played almost all your adventure escape games now. they are truly amazing quality, and the ad experience is light and unobtrusive. I'm constantly impressed. this one, however, was probably the most difficult, puzzle-wise. it was a nice challenge, and a nice length. the story was also great. thank you for your hard work putting out these amazing games!

I really enjoy the game, and the storyline, and would have given more stars, but there should be more riddles or clues to help guide you through the tasks. Not give it away completely,but don't require the use of hints, and lower the amount of stars required if you choose to use one of those precious hints. Make it so people not only have to find items but also use their brains to get there.

Game mechanics are absolutely awful. Various puzzles rely on timing between clicks/drags and just dont register or synchronize with what I'm doing. Like the shooting soldiers, or the fight puzzle - no matter what I do I cannot move fast enough. Testing my phone's responsiveness is not why I play point and click/adventure games, and why i dont have a playstation. So disappointing.

Rotten controls ruined it. I tried to play it on a rather large phone screen which has never had problems with any other escape game. It was impossible to place the lanterns in the windows. Dozens of taps all around the window area would occasionally result in one lantern going into place. Rubbish. Deleted.

I downloaded and deleted several of these types of games trying to find one I liked. This one hit the mark for me! Loving it! The puzzles are difficult enough to make you think but not impossible to figure out. I love the storyline and the graphics are great! Totally recommend this one to fellow adventurers! 👍👍

I've played a few mystery games, and this one is a fun combination of leaving you guessing and solvable. The puzzles are just challenging enough to make you think without making you want to delete the app! Cute and clever storylines, good graphics. Doesn't milk your wallet for solutions to unsolvable puzzles.

So far so good. The puzzles arent all that challenging. Edit: Had to take off stars because of one puzzle, balancing the centrifuge. No matter what I did, it simply wouldn't register. I was so frustrated I you tuned the game walkthrough. Followed step by step and nothing! I couldn't move forward in the game. A shame because I was actually enjoying it.

I grew up on point-and-click adventure games in the 90's, but it is difficult to find escape games that can match the retro adventure games in style and entertainment. Adventure Escape by Haiku is one of the best series out there, and this one is no exception. The puzzles are just challenging enough to make the game interesting, but not discouraging. Awesome game!
