Adventure Escape: Cult Mystery

Loved It! The storyline is fun, the games aren't unnecessarily complicated and for the most part you can play without needing to buy extra stars. The game bugged when i wanted to put Seth's password and wouldn't let me move on though i had the right answer. This was frustrating as i had to reinstall the game and start over to cross that level. However still 5 stars coz it was so much fun! Side note though: make the hints worth the stars cost.

Great game but just 4 stars because during the final scene, I couldn't counter the moves. No matter where I clicked, her hand would stay stuck so I eventually had to use 25 stars to finish. Plus, I had an issue with the stars count, I could never see how many stars I had except at the end of a chapter. If I clicked on a clue star in a scene though, I would see it go on the top right corner, but no display of the count. Over than that, I really enjoyed playing and already installed another one!

Haiku games are always a must play for me. they are among the few that i really enjoy replaying. The stories are good and the puzzles are challenging without being so impossible that it kills the fun. I love the quirkiness and humor that is throughout all their games. Although there are occasional glitches, the company is quick to fix issues and really seem to care about the games and the players. Their games are actually free to play, hints are fully optional, and ads are OPTIONAL. Heroes.

I like to support developers but also it's really nice to have a great game that I don't have to pay for. I also enjoy the fact that there's no waiting from chapter to chapter for something to regenerate. The puzzles are just challenging enough that they're fun but also logical or presented well enough that you don't need to cheat to figure them out. With the exception of one that you needed to read a piece of paper you picked up to solve a puzzle but there was no way I could find to examine it

Loving these escape games from Haiku series. Completed 3 now and going onto the next one. All games and puzzles different so keeps it interesting. You need to think and use your brain to solve puzzles and get through levels. Puzzles are not impossible to solve so it makes the game enjoyable. If you do get stuck there are walk throughs on line if you need. Definitely playing more games from Haiku.

Only one very hard puzzle (in my opinion), so I used accumulated stars to skip it. The cave maze is just too strange; I had trouble setting and moving the dogs, so I became very frustrated before I knew how hard the puzzle itself was. Otherwise, I really enjoyed it. The puzzles were rather easy, but I didn't mind at the price. The graphics, storyline, and controls were excellent.

I want so badly to give this 5 stars, but the levels don't save unless you complete them. So if i'm 75% through a level and all of a sudden have to turn my attention elsewhere and close the app (which happens frequently), i have to start from the very beginning of the level. So frustrating! Please make them auto-save! Also, pleeeeaaaase make your tutorials optional! Please, please, please. I am a mystery/escape game vet and hate being forced through tutorials, esp where i'm forced to use a hint.

Super fun game, the puzzles are really clever and make you think outside the box. Only issue is that hints do not give very clear instructions and the expensive hints are usually not much help. The fight at the end of the game can be very hard to understand and took me a long time to figure out as the instructions do not say that you have to line up the target but also tap directly inside it, and tapping anywhere on the screen does not work. Until I discovered this it was very frustrating.

Glitchy and bugged. Had to restart the game a few times because it wasnt regestering areas that I should be able to select, like the lab bench or chair. Secondly, I couldn't finish the fight at the end even with restarting, major bug that needs to be fixed. As is I wouldnt recomned spending time on this adventure, i've played others in this series and havent had problems.

For the most part I really enjoyed it, but the boss fight was bugged and I ended up having to buy stars to skip it- which really put a downer to the end of the game. Otherwise, a really fun game that makes you think, get curious about the story and something that you can go through without spending money (if the boss fight wasn't bugged). I would of liked a little bit more of a story incorporated into the game and for the bug to be fixed, but a good game overall :)

Mixed. Like this type of game. Puzzles so far not too difficult, but the interface is rather frustrating. Had to skip the gate puzzle as I couldn't manage to turn the tumbler mechanism correctly. If your finger slides slightly across the screen, the dial spins wildly and you have to start again. In a puzzle game, the emphasis is on working out what to do; once you do so, achieving it should be fairly straightforward.

Wouldn't really recommend. The mini games only get annoying because there are no instructions. The collect stars for hints can get frustrating at times only because you need to collect them to be able to get a hint, reveal the hint, and skip. That's a little extra for me. I can see this bring a fun game, it just needs a little improvement in certain areas.

A really well designed game with an intriguing storyline and puzzles that were easy enough to work out but not so easy that it made it boring. 5/5 from me. I love these adventure escape games. Have played many of them and they are all great. Only critique would be that it doesn't take that long to finish them. More chapters or twists and turns would make the game even better.

I actually liked this game a lot BUT it had a fatal flaw. I got part way through and there was a part where you fight a villan. The reason I love adventure puzzle games is because I dont have the reflexes needed for other types of games so I will never get past the fight scene of this game. Really bummed I cant finish the game! You cant even skip the fight part like you can every other puzzle in this game which is a huge oversight.

I love the game style. Its not the usual find objects game in a scene its more of a puzzle game. You have to find an item and look for clues to solve puzzles. If you like big fish game azada this is just for you. Some of the puzzles are hard but thats the whole point in playing. I havnt found a game like this that i enjoy as much as these in a long time. ☺

It's not a bad game but there are bugs in the program. Certain levels freeze in the middle of play and you're stuck. You have to exit the level and replay it. One time I had to completely exit the program and restart it. Bugs began on the 2nd level with the flat tire. When I clicked on the tire, it enlarged into an inset screen and froze.

5 stars for the storyline and the tasks. Its easy to figure out what you have to do, and then it is reasonably difficult to do those things. But the game has many technical issues, often i completed a puzzle and nothing happened, i had to restart the scene to get it to move on, or use stars to skip it, so only 3 stars in total

The puzzles were great thinkers and kept me entertained for a bit but I can not give more than 2 stars when you get to the end of a game and it completely glitches and fails! How am I getting the small target directly inside the middle of the larger target and it works twice then glitches me back down to restart and then acts as if I am not getting it when clearly I make the target every time... needs to be fixed!

the game good to keep you entertained. Some puzzles are not very intuitive and it would be nice if the key items would be highlighted or something cause I usually have to just press everywhere in order to find items. Sometimes I'm not quite sure how I activated some puzzles or find some items. The story is also very descent.

The game was great until the boss battle, with fighting seth himself. I'm tapping the screen when the small target is in the big target, but he still kills me and I don't move up with the green meter at the bottom of the screen. This is ridiculous. All the way to the end of the game just to not be able to progress and beat the game. I hope this isn't on purpose to coerce players into buying hints so they can just skip the rigged battle.

It's a good puzzle game. Lots of puzzle variation and a decent story line. Just the right level of difficulty. Some puzzles made me think longer than others and there was good variety to the difficulty level. Some hints were completely useless but overall very good basic puzzle game.

It's a good game. A typical search and solve. Nice storyline. It would be better if the puzzles were a bit more detailed and complex, but the creativity is spotless. Levels could be harder because for me, it's too quick of a game (I finished it in a few hours, maybe two). That's it, I give a five star.

I have played these type of games before, some poor some good, this one is of the latter. So far not difficult to solve the puzzles, hope they will become a little more challenging as I progress.

I really enjoy your games. Not too hard but not too easy. Very relaxing to play. The only thing I'd suggest is give people an opportunity to watch a video to gain a star. That way you get ad money and people can get hints without having to spend money or find a walkthrough. Great job!!!

Adventure escape games are my heaven, being the mystery buff that I am. I already played this game before and its awesome. The only reason why I gave this 3 star is because I can't sign in too google play at all. It always shows error and my acheivements are loaded. I promise to fix the rating as soon as the glitch disappears :)

In the last level, when I'm trying to defeat the main villain, I cannot get a hit in. I looked up game guides and walkthroughs, and used as many hints as I could, but no matter how many times I tapped when the target was in the center, I couldnt hit him. Very anticlimactic.
