Adventure Escape Game: Castle

I bet this is their first game, compared to their other games, the graphics are poor and the gameplay is annoying. The ball rolling was quite impossible; the ball didnt quite respond to the movement of the phone. Needing to shake in some levels wasn't intuitive and I needed a walktrough to figure it out. The torches as clues didn't work either, as they just didn't fire up enough to be able to notice the pattern. I did like the story and setting, so perhaps redo this game with your current skills

really fun game; my only complaint is that my touchscreen has some sensitivity issues and doesn't always register a swipe. So one of the puzzles that required accurate timing of swipes was impossible to complete, and I had to use starts to skip it. I had plenty of stars, though, so it did not impact my ability to continue the rest of the game.

Edit: I was able to figure out that I had to press to the left of where I needed to press and so far it seems to be ok. I'm only passedvthe 3rd level so far so we'll see. The only thing I was able to was break a pot (couldnt get the star) and move some block in places that should have been impossible moves. Couldnt even turn the sound off. Normally this company has great games

While I love all the other Haiku escape games I played so far, this one seems less thought out - the motion sensor controls border frustrating at times, especially since it was the 2nd tip whenever I got stuck (rather than part of the instructions), the puzzle solutions were sometimes based more on guesswork than actual deduction, which I'm used to from the other games in this series, and the story was a bit "out there" as well.

I had the same experience a lot of people did- installing and uninstalling but never making it past the Unity page. I know this is an old game, and maybe not something worth fixing when newer productions have been made and need moderating, but if this many people try to play the game and can't, a decision needs to happen between fixing it and dedicating time to it or removing it from stores altogether to avoid this situation and frustration from players.

too much jump and run type challenges (not sure if this is correct word: jumping around boulders, time restricted things where you have to react fast and press specific buttons, walking around burning floors, moving a ball around a maze without falling thourgh...) for an adventure game, would be better if there would be only logic type puzzles. also the controls are annoying with moving your device. didn't finish game becaus I was so annoyed.

Okay. Great game. Nice plot. Good puzzles. EXCEPT FOR THE STUPID, HORRIBLE, LOATHSOME BALL PUZZLES!! Those stinking puzzles are literally almost impossible to complete! The controls are completly awful, and those puzzles are a total SCAM to get people to buy more stars simply so they can skip the horrid things! I am giving this game 5 stars, because it's a great game, and I really like it, but I'm also uninstalling because I can't stand those wretched ball puzzles. Sorry if this sounds rude. :(

Will not open on my tablets (Android 9); loading freezes while Unity splash screen is showing. Under older Android (before 8?), puzzles that require dodging rocks, making soup, two moving a ball through a maze did not work well at all on Samsung tablets. Cost to skip such puzzles makes the game outrageously expensive and less fun. The storyline and graphics were quite enjoyable. This is a poorly performing game under the Haiku Games label; I recommend all others. P.S. loads on my cell phon

some of the 'puzzles' are very tedious on a slow tablet. impossible to escape from the boulders in time so had to skip that. tried to skip the ,'bubble in labirinth' puzzels too but it did not accept it. took my stars but then i could not click away from the puzzle. had to reload the game and do it anyway. For these reasons i much prevered the asylum and time library.

This is a pretty good game. It's a bit unstable..Good thing about this game is that you can go back to repeat levels to gain stars. The boulder puzzle..ugh.arg..irritating. Save stars for that one. It was difficult for me.. because of the ball puzzle. Otherwise a good way to kill time.

Wanted to play cause the escape games are fun, but will not load past the same screen everytime i open it, an thats the screen Unity thats all it says, ive tried MULTIPLE times, an left it different amounts of time, some 1 min, some longer. I have tried opening it threw wifi, an on my Data, an it dont make a bit of difference, still same thing, i am deleting this app, an will not be redownloading, was just a waste of time anyway. Just reinstalled the app, an samething, Didnt fix a thing.....🤬

Played almost all your games and loved them. Puzzles are generally solvable and the storylines are reasonable too. But, then there's this. The first puzzle, the one where you have to figure our how to get it to load past the splash screen. Couldnt figure the answer out so I deleted.

Nice, but different. It does have escape room puzzles. My issue is with the mini games that rely on moving the screen with speed or spending a large number of your stats to avoid it. Those mini games make me need a person with operational reflexes to help me.

Storyline is good. Really leaves you wanting more, until the boulder bit. It doesnt register swiping twice in quick succession, so you have to keep swiping till you move. Other than that, ive really enjoyed this game

This is a cute, fun lil game! Sadly I had to take off a star bc although I paid for the bonus, there is an error in one of the puzzles that makes it very hard to solve as intended (the one with the wall symbols, two of them are similar and the key uses the wrong one)

Seemed good until I got to the rolling stone part. I play games of logic because I am terrible at arcade style games. After 10 tries to get thru the first one only to find another, even harder one, I am done. Uninstalling. :(

i loved the story line, but on my phone i couldent get it past the unity title screen. i tried it on my chromebook and i was able to get into the game, but i couldent do the stepping stone puzzle with my touchpad and that led me to getting a mouse for christmas. idk if it would work, i still have to try it out.

Where the "adventure" aspect to the game? It's all just a basic room escape series with some limited dialogue now and then. And, the controls are annoying and the graphics pretty basic.

Having played a fair amount of Adventure Escape Mysteries, I was excited to try some of the other games. Unfortunately, this game did not seem to work for me. I was unable to get past even the first room, because the controls were extremely finicky. I would love to try this again, as I really enjoy other apps by Haiku Games, but this was not it. Disappointed.

It's actually a 5 star game but the reason it has 3.6 stars bc many people are facing the same problem which doesn't let them play this amazing game. I was able to play it, I don't know why? may be cause I use android.The thing is that they should fix this issue and I know it's their oldest version and they are not updating it but please fix this issue so that everyone can enjoy this beautiful masterpiece

This is a very old game but it reminds me my old days, when i play java games. At that time i finish those games, a single game within two days, and i loved those games. But now every android games are very long, many have no ends, and so many updates. But certainly i found you HAIKU!!! you are awesome. Keep going up and up and up and release more games, but not update for a single game. Make new games like the other games of haiku. Thanks a lot for these games.

uninstalled after game controls would not respond. did not even get through the first puzzle, which was a door lock puzzle. having played, and really enjoyed, your other escape games prior to this one, this one was a huge letdown right out of the gate.

Game won't load. I'm having the same problem like other players are having. The game won't load past the Unity screen; however, I noticed that some other reviewers managed to play the game. Does it work only in certain devices? perhaps older versions?

I have played several of these Haiku games but this one was different in that you have to move ur phone to make certain things move. That would have been helpful to know from the start but other than that it was fun. Most of the games are logic or skill and sometimes the hints help. Keep making these games and I will keep playing, thanks

The puzzles are good but I don't know why I don't like the graphics. The main problem I have is that the controls aren't working well. If I have to tap on an object or have to pick it up, I've to tap on the left of it. Imagine what happens when I've to tap an object on the corner of the screen 😑. No other problems discovered yet. Thank you.
