Adventure Escape: Xmas Killer

Love the story, very sad tho. But it did have issues with glitches, particularly in one chapter, the lock wouldn't disappear and you couldn't enter the room. Took three tries of doing the chapter. Clearing my cache and force stopping the game worked. But I wish it wasn't an issue. Otherwise it'd be 5 stars. Very fun. Loved it.

I really enjoyed this game. I love mysteries & wanted a game that wasn't only "find the objects". You actually have to solve things to advance. I wanted to give this 5 stars but I was frustrated by the lack of basic instructions. The clues were not logical at all. The 5 hints was nice but runs out. Also it would be useful to have an Undo last move option and not having to start all over when your wrong. Fun experience overall!

One thing that I love from this game is, there aren't many annoying pop up advertisement that will come in the middle of the game. The advertisement will only come after finishing one chapter which I don't mind at all. The graphic work are good and the puzzles are challenging yet fun to solve. This is the 4th game I installed under this adventure escape series. Going to install another one right after finishing this

Love it. I've played all their games and I'm playing this one for the second time. Great stories and graphics. Never had any issues. The puzzles are tough but make sense so it's not IMPOSSIBLE to figure out without hints. And if you're REALLY stuck there's always walkthroughs on YouTube. I'm always checking for new games. They've definitely got a fan.

This game would easily be 5 stars if there were directions to some of the puzzles. I'd gladly pay for a game of this quality, but I won't keep spending money over and over just to buy hints to try to figure out what I'm supposed to do with a puzzle, plus there were 2 times in the 1st few chapters that I solved a puzzle and the game just wouldn't progress until I paid to skip the puzzle I just solved. I'm SO disappointed. I was really looking forward to playing the rest! Please, please fix this

Interesting and fun. Only part way through the first case, but the combination of multiple rooms and different types of puzzles is a lot of fun. The only draw back is that it is a little slow between selecting an object and that object moving to the inventory. The game takes a little too long showing what item you picked up. Other than that small wait, it's a pretty fun game.

The graphics is nice, the challenges and puzzles are so challenging I love it! I've been looking for detective cases/games like this and finally I found it. It's totally amazing, I can't even find the right words to describe it. I'm very impressed, because I've played other games and it's all the same, you search for things with time but these games rather are different. This is what a detective game really is.I really just love it so much. These games are the best(est) games I've played so far.

Out of all the game apps that I have download to my android, it's nice to know that Adventure Escape games will be perfect everytime. Period! Have I found any bugs in these games? No. There are so many games that reel in your interest but once your'e playing them its like the program falls apart and you are left with a bad game. Infuriating!Not these A. E. games. I tip my hat off to your accomplishments. Also the quick fix on not having to start over if the chapter wasn't yet finished. Thx.

Very fun puzzles and intruiging story but sometimes the animations take a little too long, especially the ones where you pick up stuff. As long as that one is going you can't pick up other things. It only takes 2 seconds but it would be more fun if you could pick up other stuff during those 2 seconds.. saves another 2 if you get my drift? I don't know how else to explain that is just a little tip as a player cuz it was weirdly annoying even though it only takes 2 seconds it kinda accumulates :P

I've now played all the AE games, and this one is notably an early one. The puzzles and clues are a little more obvious/random than most from a team that has grown to produce some really good titles. It's worth playing if just to see how Haiku has gotten better and learned over a short period of time. Don't make this your first AE game. Play it after at least 3 titles and you'll appreciate it more.

Except the fact that you can't move on and have to get back at the start if you don't finish a puzzle, I enjoy it almost can't sleep without finishing a level and really makes you use your logical thinking. I love it that it doesn't require you to spend much just on hints when you're really excited to get to the next one, and no ads, great!!! I also have a huge crush on Lt.Murphy hahaha he and Det.Kate make a really good pair. Please make more Adventures with these 2 working on it!

I'm on only the second chapter and I can't progress. You're meant to be able to tap the fabric pieces to rotate them. No amount of tapping rotates the pieces. I don't know if this is due to PC to Android crossover or not but this is the first game stopping issue here I've encountered with Adventure Escape games. Thoroughly disappointing 😕

I would give it more stars, except the game freezes when I solve the puzzle and the contraption will not open, or it freezes during a puzzle (can still move objects but it just gets stuck). I had to uninstall it before finishing because I wasted so much money on hints/solving the puzzles because I figured I was doing something wrong, or I figured the level would continue if it was solved. To my dismay, this was not the case :'(

This isn't my first haiku game, in fact I've play almost all of the others. This has the same issue as the carnival puppets where no matter how I tap on the pieces, it just doesn't rotate. I'm finding extreme difficulty to rotate most of the quilt pieces and some unable to rotate at all. I skipped it out of frustration, but it only skips 1 of 4 puzzles. 40 stars right from the start, really???? Please fix it thank you.

Overall, a great but really difficult game which introduces the Adventure Escape series. A few puzzles were just too difficult to solve at times, so you better want to save up those stars, preferably for the last chapter. You would probably want to refer to the walkthrough at one point of the game, it is tough!

Would be nice to have a 'Confirm' on the "Skip Puzzle" selection. I have played all of Haiku's games in order by date, and have no problems or complaints really...up until today. I was doing one of the many fun puzzles, and ACCIDENTALLY hit the skip puzzle button. Without ANY warning, nearly all of my hard earned stars flew out the window. Thankfulky, I did not need them THIS game, but the point remains. In the past, I have desperately needed them (and then some, sometimes...lol).

Several times on the puzzle aspects, the solutions don't really match or are not made clear enough as to the links between them... The Baubles puzzle was a particularly stupid one, as was the Soup puzzle which did not make clear as to the addition of the words to solve. The minesweeper puzzle is so crowded and does not clarify if the number on the block is to be considered as well to solve the puzzle. Really poor design in terms of cohesion and logical thinking.

Amazing story, amazing puzzles. Just one thing to say, in future games, make the puzzles in-game only, needing no extra outside knowledge. I suffered a lot in Chapter 7, because I didn't know what colurs I would get by mixing the tomato cans, and the chips was even worse. Hope you do that in future games

I've played several of the Haiku games in the past and enjoyed them, but this one is simply broken. The quilt pieces in the second level of the game won't rotate no matter how many times I tap them. Since it costs 40 stars to skip this puzzle, and it's impossible to have that many at this point, the game is unplayable. Too bad because it looked like a fun one.

I normally love these games, but this one was frustrating, in that once I left the game, I had to do all the puzzles again, like others have done. Also, I can't get past the clock puzzle, though I solved it. Whatever piece is there, I can't find or access. Now I have to delete the game. ☹️

I really like the Haiku games. The puzzles are just tough enough that sometimes I have to put the game down and come back later but they're not so tough I completely give up. The graphics are incredible, good enough to pay for, actually, and the characters have really good personalities. I like Kate Grey, she's cool.

Would have been a fun game except there's no way to reset the puzzles. Instead you have to start the whole level over like on the second level when puzzle pieces disappear and there's no way to get them back. I quit and frustration I wasn't going to start the whole level over for a third time

these games are always amazing, this one seems to have problems with sensitivity though you have to really tap hard on your screen or figure out how to maneuver the item to get it to do what you want it to. fix that and this game would be 100% like the rest of them you guys do great on your developing team.
