THE BASICS (in case you’re unfamiliar)
- Match runes to attack
- three or more horizontally or vertically will charge up your weapon’s attack and strike when your turn is over.
- Match four or more to make special runes that when matched will clear even MORE.
- Chain reactions and combos will hit for more damage.
THE TWISTS (bet you didn’t think of these!)
At each location you’ll encounter multiple enemies. You keep the same rune board and spell power throughout, so as you match you can strategize your plan against later enemies or final boss characters of each location. Vanquish them all and receive the spoils of coins, potions or stamps to upgrade your weapons, armor, and spells.
- Each weapon’s stats impact how much it will hit and the number of runes you need to match to activate a Critical in your next turn.
- Some weapons will even regenerate health for matching certain rune types!
- The rune’s elemental type determines its strength against the enemy.
- Unlike other Match-3 games, each move doesn’t have to be a match so you can strategize combos (though each time you make a move with no match, your enemy gets a free attack on you).
- Request boosts from friends or spend premium currency to tip the scales further in your favor.

I enjoy the gameplay and character progression quite the bit! However.... every time I try to watch an ad to get some extra loot, when the game is resumed, it can't decide whether I should use Local data or Cloud data. This puts me in a positions like Save-File-Roulette! Will I be where I just was? Or will I go back in time... three levels back in time? Who knows! Watched an add for ya though!
The game is ohkay. Like other reviewers stated, the game crashes a lot when trying to watch an ad for more coins. On top of that the further you progress the less your spell meters accumulate making it significantly difficult to move on. This essentially forces you to use coins to prefill your meters or spend money to get better gear. Shady model and now I've uninstalled for this reason.
while the gameplay is fun, the app itself is awful. the game constantly desyncs and makes you choose between the cloud and local save data. this can lead to repeating levels. the ads are also intrusive. I will definitely not be playing any other games from this developer if the put out poorly executed games like this one.
Too many ads, game play is deisgned to force you in to purchasing items in game by setting very high costs for game items practically impossible in achieving enough credits during game play. The idea of the game is cool. Though not interesting enough to spend money on.
Game keeps desyncing. It asks you to choose between local and cloud save constantly. The problem is its hard to tell which one is latest. This normally wouldn't be a big deal except i just purchased 30 dollars worth of in game currency and after a desync I have lost ALL of it. Will be disputing the charge and uninstalling the game. Spend real money in this app AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!!
Fun enough, yet not enough to make interesting plays. ads pop in way too frequently and I noticed between the waves of enemies, that my health was going DOWN by quite alot of points so that when (if i did at all) reach the final round, I was at a huge disatvantage despite playing well. Shady tactics all the way around
The game for some reason is incapable of synching any data with the cloud causing ke to constantly lose progress. This happens even while playing. The game backs out and sets me way back. Really frustrating! please fix these game breaking bugs before releasing your games!
it's fun, but pretty buggy. there were several times where the game crashed after i completed difficult levels and forced me to play them over. it seems to be related to the in game ads.
'ok+'. Good presentation, ok gameplay. Far too loud. Seriously, no amount of 'volume down' besides 'mute' makes it not aggravating. In a strange twist i have to turn up the ads.
I really liked this game and it was very fun, but when the latest update came out, it reset me back to level 1 but I still had all my equipment, spells and level, and I can't go past level 4 because i already have the spell you need to buy for it, if this is fixed it would be a 5 star game
I like the game quite a lot and the fact that you can play it while offline is even better but recently I can no longer open the game I thought that it had to update so I tried updating it would not update finally I deleted it hoping that would fix the problem but it still won't open
Didn't see much of a point Yeah, match 3 games, levels, little humor, and buying cosmetic equipment, but what else? It felt terribly shallow and asked for an unusual amount of access.
Wanted to like it. But it's just following the awful mobile game strategy of microtransactions. The thing that bothered me the most was just the ads popping up after every screen.
Actually a decent game but I've had the game installed 2 days and have had 4 error issues and lost progress and equipment every time. Not worth the frustration.
fun but needs to be easier to get gold for upgrades i have watched ads every chance i got and never get a chance to upgrade spells at this point. Alsi crashes here and there.
paid 2.99 received nothing. there is no restore purchase button and no option to contact developer within the game. UPDATE: contacted the developer who assured me they were looking into the problem. that was almost a week ago...still nothing.
pretty fun game, however after you watch a ad for an increased bonus, game just closes out, needs to reload up again. potentially losing the previous battle.
it's okay, it feels a lot like the same match 3 game, nothing really different or new, it's pretty easy to accidentally screw up a move though, and that's really frustrating.
pretty fun at first but game crashed and i was stuck in an endless loop of no health potions the timer keeps resetting. would've been an good game but has as much crashes as fallout 76
Played for about ten minutes, music is okay but repetitive after a longer time. It's a match 3 fighter but still not Puzzle Quest 2. Got to about level 6, watched an ad to "get more loot", game crashed to home screen, restarted and there was a save conflict error. Chose cloud save because it had more gold(?) as that was the only indicator I had to go on, progress got reset to new game so I uninstalled. 2 stars because it would have been a good game.
