App is great for searching for flights. Experience went immediately downhill once I managed to book. I can't choose my seats and I keep getting message at bottom of my screen saying "oops ....." . The message disappears so fast I can't even read it all ! I note lots of people having same bad experiences overall. Response from Aer Lingus to the reviews seems to be either "no issue at their end or msg them in Facebook". Helpline overwhelmed with calls , long wait time. Disappointing /frustrating
Have not been able to login too App since December 2021. Have changed password a number of times, still can't login and keep getting the same message incorrect username/email or password, also now happening online. When I book flights online as guest and do find trip on app I can get information. Come on Aerligus sort out the issues on the app/online regarding being able to login, it is getting beyond a joke at this stage it is over 6 months now that the app has this problem and 1 month online😡
Aerlingus is the new ryanair but with a worse app - app is super glitchy, crashes all the time - loses the flights, seats - have to put your info in every single time you use it! Also why even choose aerlingus anymore now they charge you to even take your tiny 10kg bag onto the plane - what's the difference to ryanair except that the fares are much higher - customer service is a joke to get hold of too
V6.43 crashes ALL the time. So doesn't even open. Useless at the moment. Does nobody test that stuff before releasing it??? (Samsung S10, Android 10) Funny: The developer asked me to message them, but their email address rejects all emails. Dohh!!
Time and time again this app fails to let me log in. Keeps saying my login details are incorrect when in fact they are correct as I can login on the website.. Sort it out please Deleted and reinstalled it many of times. No avail And to how do I message you a screenshot? I have messaged on messenger a number of times now my issue and still no reply from there either. I have messaged this information in a email and on Facebook messenger. I will not be putting my email on here.
Nearly as bad and buggy as that awful Verifly rubbish Aer Lingus force on passengers to make the travel experience a real hoot. And if book a flight for a different name, you can forget finding it ever again. Designed and built by monkeys with typewriters.
Crashes every time you select "type of residence" during check-in, making it useless to fulfill its only purpose. Update: it does display boarding passes once you're already checked in
Terrible App / Booking Service. Booked flight on the app but it wouldn't allow us to select our seats in advance, even if we wanted to pay for them, and this was important because we're traveling with a baby. Had to phone and was on hold for an hour. Tried to check in the day before flight - app wasn't working cos it needed to be upgraded but it would not upgrade. Uninstalled and reinstalled. It wouldn't accept my saved password, which IS correct. Also the forgot password fiction didn't work.
Do not rely on the app for an ticket. Main reason for this is once flown you can't access past tickets (deleted). Why would you want to do this? Well frequently Aer Club don't pay correct tier points and to make a claim you need a ticket number which of course you don't have as soon as flight is flown. I frequently have to complain about missed or insufficient tier points. Constant battle and I always feel cheated & upset over how I am treated. Partnering with Verify renders beyond app useless.
Keeps crashing and won't even open. Updated review: re-installed the app and now it opens but crashes part way through the check in process. Not very useful.
Mostly have to use desktop site to book / find trips and now for check-in too. Seems to have a lot of bugs, works well around 10% of the time.
App is continuously crashing while trying to check in on the most recent version. Managed to check in via the website. And that worked as a workaround.
It keeps crashing anytime I open the app....it doesn't show me not even the home page! It has been like this for the last 4 weeks! Terrible and useless
Was able to book a flight no issue but as soon as it was booked I exited the app and tried to access the app again and now it boots me out before even seeing the welcome message at the start? So I can't check in or access anything can you please help I've cleared the cache and all aswell
Does not launch at all, used to use this every week, now won't work at all. Updated phone, updated app, very frustrating.
It won't let me print . Email or even save picture of my boarding passes. Keeps saying allow app yo use storage which the app has been allowed and it still won't work
App is a catastrophe, always asks for permissions that aren't even available on Android 12. Constantly asks to allow JavaScript which also isn't available. Entirely hseless.
Unfortunately, despite being a frequent user, I'm keep being asked for the same personal informations again and again, with a far from smooth data entry experience. Opportunity to improve there. Thanks
Terrible. New update doesn't solve issue that it was supposed to solve, ie app crashing on start-up after forced update; app was fine until forced update. Wanted to change my flight DUB-FRA tomorrow morning but now not able to, so will lose my money. Bye-bye EI, back to using LH for me - oh well, hey-ho; tried to use my own national legacy carrier but yet again, they let me down, though I must add your handling agent ground staff at MUC are superb. I DON'T DO TWITTER OR FACEBOOK.
This app used to work fine but something must have happened during Covid. I've been trying to open it for two days but it either doesn't accept log in details or if it does I get error message "aerlingus app has stopped". Please sort problem or I'll be booking flights with another airline Update: The App has started working again since I left feedback so onwards and upwards
Good app, worked well even with rubbish airport WiFi. Nice bright boarding pass. Had no issues at all.
After the update this month my app has crashed every single time I've tried to open it. I've tried every single thing in the books I can try: delete the app, close the device and try again, update the OS, sacrifice 3 goats and a mother-in-law on a full moon, and nothing. Before this the app worker beautifully and I was able to modify a lot of my trips over the app. I would have generally speaking given solid 4 stars (one star off from the fact it still has some limits) but now can't give any.
I still can't check in for my flight from Gatwick to Dublin using this app because I have not used VeriFly. Let's be honest... hopping on a flight like that shouldn't require a whole separate round of uploading my personal information to a third party company, who I know nothing about and do not trust. I don't use VeriFly... and never will. Please stop penalising your customers by withholding your app functionality due to your dependency on this 3rd party, data collection company.
Can't access a BA boarding pass. No booking is found when entering the reference and name. Joke of a business if you can't get something as basic as that working.
Absolute awful app. Constantly needs to be updated. Save yourself the hassle and download the Ryanair app if you're booking a European flight.
I can no longer pay with Visa debit on the app. Tries to contact bank via Visa Secure. Goes into loop and rejects card every time. Have to phone in now to book flight. Huge pain.
I checked in online the night before but on the next morning at the airport the boarding pass was not there anymore! I wasn't able to board the flight because of that! Generally the app seems to forget everything - each time I open the app it still doesn't know my booking information. Each time I have to enter the information again. Needs lot of improvement!!!
