Afdah Movies TV Shows

It was horrible. I dowloaded this app hoping it would be just as good, or maybe better, then the website but it was way worse. Giving it one star is generous considering the fact i wasn't able to watch ANYTHING on here. I get around 2-3 ads just trying watch a movie (or tv show) in the home pages and around 3-6 ads when I search for movies and tv shows with the search bar. After all of the ads i'm greeted with a gray screen and the words "please try again later" at the bottom of the screen. (1)

I'm pleased to find relevant movies unlike those on Peacock or Tubi. But there are a few problems as well. I am on my phone and dont have a computer so maybe that's why the app is messing up, but I wish they'd fix it. I cannot load any of their movies and I cannot "save the movies for later" as in there is no watch later option. I'll add more stars as the problems are fixed! I love the app other than that though!

When I use search bar I'm unable to see what I'm typing... I click on the movie from the list and try to click play... nothing...happens....I don't even know if there's ads in this app or commercials fix the bugs please then I'll reinstall the app

It's amazing,it has almost every movie and anime series i love.there is only one problem which is; whenever i open a movie or an episode or whatever to watch it- a white screen appears? My WiFi is great and high so it isn't my WiFi that is the problem,if it's a bug it would be great if it gets fixed.but since it's rare to find apps like this that are free i will give it 5 stars 💅

I was really looking forward to using your app. Once the app is downloaded and you choose the tv show or movie you want to watch ....nothing happens. Well, on the tv side it sometimes lets you choose a session you want to watch. Then a drop down box appears, but when you click on a episode to see...nothing happens.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!! I tap the search bar, an ad pops up and wont let me search. I scroll to find a movie, tap the movie, so far its taken 30 mins to load (couldn't wait any longer due to schedule) movie never loaded. Everything that I have tried so far results in running out of wait time or an ad! Are there really movies on here or is it just a way to make you watch an ad? Is it even safe? Either way, negative ratings not available so I'll give it one star. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!

It's slow,and you can't even search for the type of movie you're looking for. Because once you press search,it takes time time to show the keyboard where you can search for the type of movie,tv show and people. And one I know of is that...you guys are just going to respond and say that you will be dealing with the problem. But nothing is going to change. And if the was a zero rate,I personally would put that,I don't even know why is there 5star. Please ahere to the problem Thank you

You will most likely find the movie your looking for but it won't play. Every movie I try to play won't work new and old. I had the app then uninstalled it then reinstated it a while later and it still didn't work. I recommend the website over the app. The website doesn't have as many movies but it works better.

Just Disappointing!!!! I normally watch movies on my computer but it got so slow every second of the movie from the beginning to the end... it's so frustrating!!! And then I download it onto my phone !!!! The movies wont even load or play!!!!!!!! Fix this plsssss....

This app is really horrible, like sure it's got free movies but it won't even let you play them, it says check back again later and I clicked on it so many times, I don't reccomend thuis app at all, save yourself time instead of wasting it on this!!!!

The app doesnt let you watch movies. The website only lets you watch movies until the middle of the movie when its getting good then, it cuts off. Hate both of them. Please fix them both.

Honestly this app is AWESOME when you use it on a computer or laptop but on phones or iPad it doesn't really work like you can search a movie or anything you want its fine but when you want to watch it for some reason it doesn't work, but I don't know if its only me, but I defenatly recommend.

I would give it zero stars if it were an option. It doesn't play anything. I've just tapped random movies because nothing else I've chosen works and sure enough none of it does. Not sure how this app has more than 4 stars🤷🏼‍♀️

My experience with this app was very great. Its really a good app to watch movies on. But also you don't have to go to the movies you could just lay in your bed take out your device and look at any movie you want.

Once you click on a movie, an ad will pop up. After this, screen shows white. Movie never plays. Best to use the website. Not happy about this app at all.

Not one movie would come up. It tried to get me to install other apps and when i tried to watch a movie, it told me to try again later. I couldnt even search for a movie, it would take me to ads for other apps.

The home page comes on and any movie that I pick to watch comes up, but when I try to watch it won't load. It comes up as a blank white screen. I am going to unistall the app and try again.

Ridiculous!! Wasted time, I clicked on the movie four times already and kept getting this message check back later what? I won't be able to check back later cause this app won't be on my phone anymore!

i dont understand I try to play a movie then an ad pops up [i am ok wit ads] then once the ad is done i press the X but then it brings me to a white screen, and it wont play the movie, every time i try to use it it does the same thing, I recomment using the website, the website does not do this and is way easier i like AFAH, and i thought the app woould be better but since the website is cool il give it a 3 star.

Don't waste your time i've tried downloading it twice thinking maybe i did something wrong the first time i downloaded it but i just wasted my time once you click on the movie it shows an ad then shows a blank page

I have downloaded the app but when ai cluck on any movie, the info comes up and I see a window with an arrow to push to view the movie, when I push it, nithing happens.

App will not play movie when you hit play button. When you search the words dont show in the search bar so you cant even see if you make mistakes in your search. Hopefully this will get fixed promptly

Shouldn't even get 1 star. I can't watch anything on it, nothing even tries to start. Not worth the minutes of life you lose trying to make it work.

Myra T'Chet, you mentioned in your review "is it even safe?" I do not work with afdah in anyway, but it is safe as evident by it saying "verified by play protect" underneath it in Google play. I noticed you were complaining alot about ads, but it wouldn't be verified by play detect if it didnt have ads, you see, adah would have to pay for the rights for the movies on the website, and with it being free they cant get any money, unless they use ads. By using ads they can afford the movies on it.

This is awful ! It don't load at all , very good movies on but don't let you watch, i highfully do NOT recommend this app. I tried downloading it and Uninstalling and the same thing over over do not waste your time with this app. 👌

It dose not work, i have high speed, unlimited data and internet the app looks great but it doesn't work I've tried three times. If they fix the app I will change my review

I could even watch a movie let alone click on one. The app shut down and I would be back at home screen. I really wish I worked better the online one was great till that blocked me out too for some reson.
