Done with this app. 50/50 chance if I'm going to be able to actually get to my account. Now, it just gives me a screen with the name on top and white screen below. Love the bank, and the ppl who work at tge bank but yall need to get someone on the app who knows what they're doing or who's able to actually spend time on it.
After working well for more than a year, the app stopped working on my S5. I upgraded to a S8 with the exact same problem occuring when I open the app. It loads to a white screen with Affinity Plus as a header. I've uninstalled and reinstalled on several occasions. The only way to access my account is to open the website in my phone's browser. Not ideal. Please fix this soon.
Hate their app, always have. Nearly everytime I use it, it spins and stalls. I'm left constantly troubleshooting, restarting the app, clearing the cache, restarting my phone. I'm now on Samsung S6 active but I used to use on an iPhone, which wasn't any better. When banking is becoming more and more mobile, you really need to fix your app. I'm starting to consider switching, which I hate to say but this is where I spend the majority of my time managing and I hate it.
This app is ridiculous! I'm not able to use mobile deposits because even though the pictures I take off checks are clear, as soon as they load on the app they are a complete blur. The app will log you out if your account the second the screen turns off. Also get error messages all the time. Don't waste your time- you'll just get frustrated
Bank is great. App not so much. Half the time when I try to log-in or navigate the app it gets the loading wheel and won't move. Constantly having to close, and restart app to do what I need to do. It would be convenient for mobile if it worked, but right now just going into chrome and using the regular site is much faster with much less issues. I've had issues with the app since I first downloaded it two years ago and it doesn't seem to be fixed still. Quality of app didn't change when I upgraded to a new phone either.
This app has never been good. The interface is clumsy, unintuitive and designed using iOS standards. One example of this app going just short of "helpful" is in the contact section. There are no links to phone numbers, so I had to copy and paste the number I wanted out of the app. This small example only says "we don't care about the app other than being able to say we have an app" Invest in a REAL ANDROID APP aff plus. This developer is not doing well for you.
ABSOLUTE garbage. Just pure trash. Crappy app works when it wants to, which is about half the time on 3 different phones. Times out and logs you out constantly after a half a second of inactivity. The folks that made this app...next time, get them with experience. My 8yo nephew could do better than this waste of data.
This app is the worst. Just stick with going online to the actual website. I'm one who checks my account ever other day and I can never rely on this app to work correctly. It's always loading and never gets done loading. Takes FOREVER if you ever want to do anything simple like just check your accounts, not to mention transfers...worst.app.ever.
Just garbage, I can log in maybe 30% of the time and I am reauthorizing my phone every other time I log in. It's not convenient at all since it hardly ever works and when it does work it takes 5 - 10 minutes to get to your account balances. I love the credit union, but this app is just bad.
Constantly makes me reregister my device, last time it asked me to make a name for my saved device and so I did but now this time it asked me to do the same thing as the saved name is registered to a different device when in fact I'm using same galaxy s5 phone. Update 8-12-17. It sits there after I put in my username and password with the loading circle FOREVER!!! I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it still is POS! So tired of this!
UPDATE: the check deposit issue has been fixed, so I have changed the rating to 4. I appreciate the responsiveness to this issue. OLD: After last update cannot remotely deposit checks. Went to bank in person and no fix was offered and no timeline for fixing the app, which worked fine until the last update. Am seriously considering switching banks due to the technical issues and unresponsiveness regarding a fix.
For a few months now i haven't been able to check my account using this app. It seems to log in fine but when i click on my account or any of the options once I've logged in i am immediately signed out and am stuck on a constant loop of this. It is very annoying. Please fix soon so i can use this app. Thanks
I can't remote deposit my check, that feature has never worked on my phone. The login is a huge pain. Telling the app to remember my device when I login does absolutely nothing. I would love to just login the complicated way once, then use a pin or something to get in every other time. Just make it easy for me to check my account balance or make my loan payment. Please.
I really like this bank and I was overjoyed to download this app for its deposit function, since I don't live near any branches of Affinity Plus. The one feature I wanted was just to be able to deposit my cheque remotely, so I'm really disappointed that the deposit function doesn't, well, function. I love Affinity Plus but this app is really just taking up space on my phone now.
Update: App was updated and is marginally more functional now. Remote check deposit works. The app, like the website, fails to register to device as trusted -- forcing me to go through the security questions every time. It's functional now, but the experience isn't what I'd call pleasant. Updates tend to trash the app cache, requiring a minimal amount of savvy to fix.
I love Affinity Plus for the convenience they offer. But this app gave me a terrible experience. Where do I start? Just to check balance, there are so many steps! I remember it vaguely but when app starts, one dedicated screen asks me if I want to log in! Of course I want to login. Why else would I start the app? Look at Chase or Bank Of America apps. They are so convenient. There was no fingerprint login last time I tried. Check deposit was a nice feature so gave it 2 stars.
Love the app when it choses to work. Some days I won't be able to log in at all due to taking so long to load. Some days it loads very fast and works great and is very convenient.
I had previously rated this very poorly, but I am updating my review. At first, I was having issues with the mobile check deposit, but the tech team fixed it very quickly. Every time my phone updates I have some issues, but I uninstalled then re-downloaded the app and it seems to work just fine!
I just took 58 million blurry pictures of a check I needed to deposit. Nothing was different when app cam finally decided to work, it just got tired of taunting me.
Get a blank screen when I open this app. Even uninstalled and reinstalled. Piece of garbage, used to be good. I have samsung galaxy s4
This app always struggles to properly load and constantly has a loading symbol on the screen. It's slow and updates never seem to fix it. When the app works, it's great. However, this app is hard to use because it is so slow to load. Very frustrating!
App is broken after latest update. Giving error trying to view wallet history detail citing verify in wrong format. Fix this please
It is clunky and will randomly stall, forcing you to log in again, which isn't a guarantee that it won't do the random stall thing again. It's frustrating for an app I've basically got to depend upon being so inconsistent.
This is the worst app I have ever used. Login is terrible and never remembers my phone. Sometimes the spiraling circle just sits there when my connection is over 200mb/s.
I downloaded the app and was able to log in right away on the first try. Same looking security steps as the full website. Displayed all of my accounts.
Whenever I open the app, it's a 50-50 shot on whether it'll actually work or get stuck on a loading screen. The problem seems to have gotten worse recently, it takes me 5-6 tries to even transfer money to my checking account. Love Affinity, but their app needs work.
