Unable to log in with either my pin or finger print since the last update. Very, very frustrating as many others have also said.... yet the issue seems to continue.
No self service in this app. Once you forget your pin and or password, you can not use this app, just like who forgot the pin. I was told to visit the nearest African to get help, but with no help. Please introduce the self service instead of visiting the branch.
I can't login. It keeps on giving me a "Can't perform this action error".I am only giving you two stars because the previous version was perfect then y'all decided to ruined this app😤.
Horrible app since the update. I keep getting the message "Cannot perform this action" when I sometimes try to log in or make a payment.
The app is useless, it's not very user friendly. You xan load a beneficiary but you can't pay them. Please do better.
App is very basic but gives you all the info you need in one easy to understand spot. The only thing I think they need to include is a "contact us" option where you can have a live chat with a representative of the bank, or where you can request that a bank representative calls you back.
The app was working perfectly fine prior to this update, now I can't even log into the app. Super frustrating
This app is very bad. I tried to open mine on my cellphone, using the same credentials I was given at my branch without success. I took the matter to my branch but they too could not help me. I don't know what else to do now.
The app refuses to log me in. No navigation if you forget login details. Worked fine before but not any more. Useless!!!
Finaly. I have been trying all day to leave another review. I would have prevered to updat the one I already left, but could not see how to do it. Please Google play wake up and sort your problems. I solved my update problem by deleting the old app and installing the new app. So far it's working perfectly. Unfortunatly that will not work for whatsapp because you will loose all your chats.
Disappointed by this app update.. The speed it functions with is extremely slow and unreliable. When trying to change card limits the app crashes. Sometimes you cannot login even though credentials are correct. I wish this app could be scrapped and proper money spent on developers because its honestly bottom of the barrel amongst SA banking apps
I despise the new upgraded banking app. Tried the new money send service and it's the WORST. The person who I send money to using this particular service still haven't received the SMS with the number and PIN they need to withdraw the money and it's been more than 8 hours now. On top of that the app is soo much slower. FIX THIS ! Day 2: I've talked to all the relevant people went to their branches but still, no one knows what to do in this situation that time I need the money!
Cannot access app. Upon opening the app I get a warning and message cannot process your request. Ref AS008 Samsung galaxy A32
This app is running very very slow, it takes several minutes to open so that I suggest that if the bank may seek assistance from the First National Bank app developers to help by improving this app to run faster might be a good idea, I'm suggest that because fnb app has a lot of amazing features and amazing speed to operate. It is not fair to wait for a transaction that takes about 10 minutes when you are hurry, it is like a joke. This app is the worst app that does'nt do well compared to all..
Nothing really works. I've been trying to get my documents & all the app does is give me a pop-up that keeps telling me to retry or go back to the home screen.
I m still struggling to open the app, really frastrating if I may say. I m really not happy with the app I went twice to branch ope after assistant, I went home still not working.
Hello African bank app controller.. can you please manage or fix your app 😔😔.I can't take it anymore more, even went to the nearest branch, they even failed to fix it.so guys do something..I want to see were my money is going.
My experience with this app is very poor since I've downloaded it is not opening, keep saying enter username,I've been to the branch but still the same,it's wasted my time and data for nothing,I regret updating it really
This app doesn't show all transactions that was done, imagine not having transaction for the entire day but they only appear on the statement which doesn't have much information either.
This app is useless. I was able to register however i can't login. It says wrong data, so i can't even change the password 😩
Poor service. Don't recommend. They make you feel like your money is theirs. They don't keep promises especially with the notice deposit. They can make a 7 day notice and up being a 14 day notice. Try other banks
To get the app working after the latest update, I had to uninstall and reinstall...very disappointed to see that some screens including the main one and even the login page is now packed with ads and offers...really? This only aids your marketing efforts and provide zero practical value to the user...way to go guys! Why did you not try to fix the slow login times that'been a pain for over 2 years already?
The app needs more features, it's very outdated. Its also so annoying that I can't screenshot my own app, obviously I have the right to choose if I want to share that information, nobody can get into my app to do it except me because it's password protected. We want to be able to have an app like other popular bank apps please. 13/02/22 This update isn't working, I'm trying to login and the app keeps switching off!
Hi African bank team. I downloaded the app few days ago, registered without any problem. I did few transactions and added my beneficiary, buy airtime/data for me and others using my contact list. Everything was fast and easy for me, and i've been rewarded. Thank you and keep up the good work. Today's date is 23 Feb 2022, and i am very disapointed with your upgrading. Im worried that i may not be able to pay my debts via your App because i cannot login or use it. It says "unable to perform...
After the upgrade the app is VERY slow, plus crashes every time I try to get my credit report. The new interface is also way too cluttered which doesn't make for seamless navigation.
The app works perfectly and now has a mobile payments tab, which the old version did not. Upgrade teething issues have been resolved. It's quick & easy to use with cheaper transaction fees than any other fiat bank. Well done AB!
Nonsense new app. Ever since they updated the app. Am having problems with the app. It works only if it want to. In a week it can only work once. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 Can you guys get your technicians or IT guys to fix this issue. Cause this is really annoying. It been 2 months since you updated to this irritating application. This is annoying.
