This is a good app. And I love the black Mojo's. However, I have a hard time using it with so many pop-ups for advertising. There are times when the app becomes Frozen and you cannot use it. So, for that reason I've only given it three stars. If there are some improvements, on allowing the user to engage the Emojis free with all its freezing and with very little pop ups. I would give it five stars. Cuz after all it's nice to see us.
fun but should be easier to use. Also I don't like the adverts that popup once l select an emoji to use. That's annoying. I suppose it generates income for you all since the app is free.. l use afroemojis occasionally when not in a hurry to text. Please add some more. For example, one for kisses,hugs, have a good day,no worries,kwanza, I could go on. The app is fun. Keep up the good work and thank you.
The premise is amazing and the wide range of emojis is great. However, you have to subscribe in order to incorporate it into your keyboard, otherwise you can't use them at all. On top of this, there are lots of ads. Either you should be able to have limited use of the keyboard with ads or full subscription use with no ads. At the moment it's a bit of a lose-lose
Well for one I had to download a third party messaging app. After I downloaded this app it took complete control of my phone and I couldn't get to my settings. When I swiped up it lead to a White page Search bar. I then search for my settings App it then lead me to the Internet. It drove me crazy that I was about to consider wiping my phone clean and starting again. Please do not download anything that you can't use with your current message app. If you have to.download a third party app for a specific service to work run away. And shame on you for not letting people know that you have to download a third party message app so it can work. Shame on You. Lucky there's nothing on my phone. I'm still going to erase my phone. So far so good. It does what I got it for. I just downloaded the app today. I was tired of being the only standard emoji user with all my family and their representative emojis now I can join in. Only things I wish they had was a button on the keyboard to quickly go to settings and switch to my standard keyboard or quick select word options and the abillity to attach images like my standard keyboard. It cost me $3 to add it to my keyboard to find this out but again does what it's supposed to.
This app needs more choices to select how the emoji looks. When my friends see that emoji, no one will know it's me! There were not enough choices for clothes, complexion, jewelry( or lack of jewelry), body shape, glasses, or facial features. After spending a lot of time trying, it doesn't resemble a caricature that would make someone guess that it's me at all.
I downloaded it, but couldn't figure out how to use it. So I'm un-installing it. Nice images, I'm a Senior Citizen so probably not a problem faced by most people. 7/30. I decided to give it another try because the images are so cute. It looks like it's working now. Thank you. 8/4 Update: It's working well. Perhaps as you expand categories could be added? 20 something's and 70 year olds have very different tastes.
This app doesn't even work. I install the app and all it does is buff no images ever appear all it does is buff I accidentally touched a star rating I read this as nothing it's not even working. and just think that I took out a lot of my apps to put this one in for what, NOTHING I really wanted a black man's Mojo's app. I really like to express myself with the black images . But I have NOTHING. Don't waste your time installing it.
This app pops up and draws over other apps. It cannot be used in my SMS text messages, which is my preference for using this app. Too many ads, it is intrusive and pops up when I attempt to use my SMS text, despite not being (useful) useable in SMS text messages. The Emojis are second to none, great otherwise.
I liked some of the figures. Not a wide selection. Most are to cartoony. There are a lot that a female would sent to a guy, not enough on the flip side. I was hoping to have this replace the ones already on my phone. This is a standalone. You have to share with you current messaging app. Most of the time it wanted me to use Facebook Messenger. I don't want that.
Previously used app, but removed it. Just installed again and doing same thing. It is not working. When click on an emoji to use, it chooses a totally different one. The same one no matter what you choose. Also, now it won't even move after click on it. I am uninstalling again. I am very dissappointed.
I like this app but it needs some serious improvements. I just started paying for the keyboard and plan to delete it…too many issues especially since I text a great deal. I may check it out in the future. WHAT a hassle to type this little bit. And do not charge me this month $2.99.
3 Stars for attempting to make a Black Bitmoji alternative. But 1) You can't customize an avatar to look like you. 2) The interface is just a search bar and button to buy the keyboard. 3) You can't see all the emojis available you have to try to search to find what you want. I'm good.
This app is terrible. Black people so t look this way and its ashame that the emoji options aren't setup like the iPhone, when you select and emoji on iPhones you are given the option to select a black or white face, hand , etc.. I shouldn't have to go through all the extras to use a black email especially if these are the options. I've been an android fan forever however when this phone is old enough, I will be investing in the iphone. End of story.
Good variety. Too much distracting advertising. Sometimes it gets stuck and won't let you use the text source of your choice.. it allows Facebook and Whatsapp always!!! Then the sneaky ads pop up right where you need to make a selection of a mojo text app!!! I will discontinue this apo!!
I like it but it just uses the standard emoji faced for white people with different skin tones..... you need to actually change the features and hair to make it accessible and varied. I'm sure many people would use it more then if it felt like an actual representation rather than reducing people down to their skin tone.... ya get me? Good effort though.
Not very helpful in what I wanted to use it for. It ask you to make emoji then it disappears. The only ones you can use are the already made up ones or the sayings. The app is great if u just want to pick something but takes too long to do anything else. Not sure if making since kind of hard to describe.
I like the pictures, but its very hard to use when sending a text message. It keeps stating that the contact info is invilid when its not!!!! So u have too keep trying about 4 times before u can send text. Who wants to keep doing that not me!!! Thinking of removing appt!!!!!
The app doesn't even work every time I try to send and emoji to someone through a text message when I hit the send button it takes me out of my text screen and goes right back to the screen to select an emoji .... I tried this app three (3) times and it doesn't work .... I have to delete this app because it doesn't work and I'm getting irritated ....
Very Disappointed in Limited User Creation flexibility. What good is the app when you are limited in creating your own style of bitmoji. What good is it if the body pieces do not fit perfectly together, unable to properly group images together for the overall effect.
I really like these emojis. Great art work. They are really kool. I like the different moods that speaks to a person. It gives a variety of positive outlooks in the African American culture. I can send my minor grandchildren African American from this site and I have no worries of it being inappropriate for them and lots to pick from. I like the different pictures it exhibits. I think they are wonderful and enjoyable.There are numerous of emoji to choose from, which makes it wonderful & nice.
The keyboard doesn't have suggestions, doesn't have auto correct, erases the complete word whenever I try to hyphanate it like the word doesn't. I had to type the ' symbol then go back to add the word around it. I really really hate having to constantly go back to correct a word and Capatalize letter manually like a cave woman because the keyboard doesn't come with those features nor does it have the opption to let me size the keyboard and this keyboard's blocks are HUGE but too close together
Concept is great, characters are cool. Like that you can design your own. But it takes so long to navigate thru. Perfer just typing in a feeling and gettting your pop up pic ..instead of scrolling through all the different pics
it's ok would be better if you could just scroll from one emoji to another instead of having to go back and then select another emoji. And I hate all these pop up pop in ads that come in when you are trying to text a message. seriously thinking about deleting this app the announce is not worth it.
Family & friends get a kick out of the African American emojis. The problem I notice you may have to wait a few minutes, probably due to the ads uploading to send. Plus you may have to close the app & go back in to send . But other that that its great.
I enjoyed seeing brown skinned emojis. I look forward to more personalizing of them being able to happen, the organizing of them being set up for quick access, and it would be great if it was available in the texting apps. These are the ways I would like to use it and for not being able to-I removed it. Hope it receives more development. Also the full screen ads can get bothersome over time I imagine.
