The Aftenposten app need certain permissions to give you the best possible reading experience. Here is a description about what the permissions are for.
- Identity and device ID: required for receiving news notifications
- Access Coarse and Fine location: This permission allows the app to give you more relevant content, as well as provide you with the weather forecast in your location.
- WiFi connection information: Gives the app permission to use nearby WiFi networks instead of your mobile network. The app needs internet connection to load content, and will adapt to your connection speed.
- Photo/Media/Files: To reduce load times and data usage the app will temporarily cache images and content on your device. This permission also allows you to add media when sending news tip from the app.
- Bluetooth: This permission allows the app to communicate with our apps on Android Wear and Sony smartwatches.

News is so important to the daily welfare of people that one should NOT have to pay for it online. There are more than enough advertisements.
Schibsted login portal is the reason that I quit my Aftenposten subscription! Shibsted is horrible.

I'm finding this very helpful while learning the language
I use this app to stay informed about Norwegian politics and Learn the Norwegian language, so I can hopefully study in Norway in two years.
Articles are stacked on top of each other do its impossible see what the article is about without opening the article.

Used to work fine. Only loads about 50% of the articles lately. The rest stay blank (white). Need to restart the app, then load article again. After restart, second article pressed fails to load. Not hard to reproduce any of this. Why the QA fail on something basic like this?
