Afterpay - Shop Now, Pay Later

Horrible experience. On a mint level that gives you the option to postpone payment dates. If you ask to change a payment date they will freeze your whole account for months while you pay everything off. Really ruins the customer service and the fact of having a great payment history. They tell you that you can't use your account at all. It's really frustrating

Good service as long as you don't have issues, bad app. This app constantly requires me to sign back in in the middle of browsing and losing my place while shopping. Rewards system is just advertisements. I have to find what I want in browser then come to the useless app to buy it. Also, update notes aren't optional. Telling me to just turn on automatic updates isn't going to happen. Tell me what you plan to install on MY device. Also customer service is so bad. They're just dense and uncaring.

Afterpay is a great service. It has come in handy for larger purchases. The app though has some issues. The fingerprint login seems pointless. The majority of the time I use it, the app says my session expired and still requires a password. There's also quite a few websites that do not work when shopping in-app. While it is no big deal to use a separate browser, the loss of convenience is somewhat annoying. Other than that, the app is good. It makes managing your account really easy.

Afterpay app is great to use for shopping & splitting your total cost into four (4) payments. You get a credit limit that consistently increases. It's idea for shopping for necessities, but don't have the total amount due on the day you shop. The app shows the details of your purchases, what you bought, dates, amounts of pymnts due & how many you have left. You can also get points toward gift cards of your choosing when your payments are on time. It's a win, win for the consumer. 😊💜👍

I love Afterpay...it's been a life saver!! Being able to buy now pay and pay later has really help me achieve the good things I need and want. Without me having to apply for credit cards or needing a whole lot of cash to purchase certain items. In the meantime I can work on my credit. Only wish that Amazon was on board with them. That's ok but really sucks on Amazon part.

Did not believe that you could buy something breaking it into four payments and bring it home that day with ZERO charges or fees BUT I have used it many times and it's real!!!!!!! Afterpay helped make Christmas so much easier to budget and WITH NO FEES !!!!!!!! Of course if you're late on paying it back then there's a fee but I haven't been late so don't even know how much that fee. This may be my highest recommended app

It has definitely come in handy! Especially during the holidays or certain weeks when funds are tight and I can get the presents or items that are needed and just make timely payments. Only thing I wish is that it would be quicker to be able to raise your limit. It seems to take a while :(. I've purchased at least 5 different items and always make on time payments, never late and paid them off and have been with afterpay well over a year now, maybe even 2. That's why it's a 4 star.

It is a very cool and useful app. Only thing I think that really needs to change is that the payments should coincide with when the user gets paid as to not mess up the credit line they're given based on missing a single payment. I've also been charged for a payment after 7 days when each payment is said to be due every 14-15 days which destroyed the line of credit I was given. It went from $600 to $50 cause one payment was missed and was charged after a week instead of two weeks like it says.

This a great way, to purchase items you love and set up easy biweekly payments. It's like modern day layaway, however you receive your items before paying it off. It's like having a credit card, with disciplined payments. After 2 years, I'm still using Afterpay one of the most convenient ways to purchase items you love.

I absolutely love afterpay. It's the perfect way to pay for people like myself on a budget without the finance charges. I've never used it but the option to change a payment is a bonus. If you want to pay off early no problem. I get so many discounts for online shopping to my favorite stores without ever having to leave home. You need to return something, no problem they will refund what you paid out. You can't ask for more.🙂

The app is very easy to use. They have different stores you can shop at online. And also I have actually notice, it has been helping my credit score if anyone was wondering. Not much but does help. And you actually do get your clothing or whatever you are shopping for and you just pay for it on your time. Would recommend it to anyone! And there's no ads as well.

Used to be great and after an issue with their app having an error and the app reading the wrong amount twice I was eventually refunded for their apps mistake but then my account was suddenly blocked a few weeks later. Was asked for personal legal documents and then haven't heard anything back after 2 weeks. Very sketchy to ask for clients IDs and copies of their card and then never reply back while also eliminating any way to call Afterpay. I can no longer recommend the use of this service.

Afterpay is a wonderful app for when you want or need something but don't have all the money to purchase. However I don't like if you run into a situation where you want to push back a payment you're only allowed a limited amount of times that this feature is available. That SUCKS especially when you have been a great customer and you don't ordinarily use this feature. Not to mention they will lower your purchase availability as a result.

Don't use this app. I used it to make a purchase on Amazon, the total was supposed to be $307 and I got charged $338. Total was supposed to be adjusted but it was not. I returned one of my items in my order and received a partial credit but the amount I got still leaves me paying $28 too much. Just pay for your purchase, totally not worth losing money.

Will be deleting and switching to Klarna. Had an incident with a return that went wrong in so many ways. The merchant already had product returned and afterpay still wanted to charge me a payment. I no longer had the item and sent it back 12 days before payment was due. They counted it as a late payment and made spending balance zero. No one even reached out to me to try and resolve the issue. Customer service is terrible. Save your time and headache and go with Klarna.

Afterpay is a very convenient way to pay for things if you can't afford the full price at once. Being interest free is a bonus in addition to getting the item(s) right away and not having to wait until you pay it off. A lot of places don't have layaway anymore so Afterpay is a great alternative.

I never leave reviews for apps. I've had decent experiences with afterpay before, I've for the most part have shopped outside of the app, but currently it shows that Amazon purchases can only be made within the app. Doing anything within the app is very finicky, I had to fight with adding what I wanted to my Amazon order because of the way the app was behaving. After I finally get it figured out, I am told that, even though I have an afterpay balance I can use, that I cannot purchase anything.

Losing Interest! I used to enjoy this service as I have had the App for quite sometime and have a spending limit of $1600. That spending limit doesn't do us any good as we have 5 orders equalling $400. So even with $1200 avail to spend its useless as the deny my purchases saying I need to payoff my other purchases first. I have always paid on time and in most cases paid the accounts off early. # of purchase limit?? Never had this issue with Klarna, may have to go back to using, Klarna instead.

Not a good service at all. They tell you how much you can spend, and no matter how much you use. They decline your purchase and I've never paid late or use more than two hundred dollars at a time. Customer service is just a bot that sends automated messages. Try klarna at least they approve your purchases even if they start you on a low limit.

I love Afterpay. Afterpay let's you get items that I couldn't I couldn't afford otherwise. They DON'T require a credit/report. They only want the first payment when you place your order. They give you a limit as well. Then they break the total of your order into 4 qual payments. They DON'T require any of the fees that a regular credit card company requires. Only downfall, Afterpqy they doesn't report to the Credit Bureau. I wish they did.

I absolutely love afterpay. It's a game changer in shopping. You are able to pay over time and still enjoy the items. If it doesn't work out, returns are easy and the refunds are typically quick. So far I've never had any issues using afterpay. I've been using this system for years. If the due date isn't on the ideal day, they still give you a 10 day grace period with no penalties.

Great option for in place of a credit card. Any issues that I have had I was able to communicate and get issues resolved quickly. I love after pay I will continue to use it. For as long as it dose not report to my credit. Afterpay is the best option for this type of buy now pay later option. I highly recommend and I tell everyone about it.

I haven't purchased anything since 8/2021. I was mysteriously charged $79 in January 2022! I make a complaint through the app so I had to contact my bank to investigate the charge. Still, no reply from AP!! Edit: The app now shows no history of anything I've ordered in the past. You get no reply. I still have yet to understand why I was suddenly charged months later after completely paying for items I had. I still don't know what for & still can't get a reply nor a thorough investigation.

After pay is awesome and it comes in handy especially for when you want or need to buy a few things and only have so much to spend. You can split the amount into 4 payments. Also I have never been charged any more than what my order is. Afterpay App offers so many things. Deals on top of deals. Go check it out.

Afterpay is a terrific app especially if you're responsible to pay in payment's. Not only can you get the stuff you buy on your first payout doesn't run a credit check on you either. A five star app & the apr is not crazy you might have to pay like a dollar or two extra for fees but that's it. If you like to pay off stuff in payment's this is the app for you!!!

I use Afterpay a lot. It's wonderful for getting those more expensive items that you can't pay all at once. It is great for people who don't have credit cards. I have one complaint. To use it for Amazon, they don't take into consideration that you have prime and charge you for shipping. The first time it did it they refunded me the shipping, but this recent transaction they did not. I do not recommend using it for Amazon if you have prime. Other than that, it's great!

The experience is terrible they have no customer service what so ever you call their customer service number and you get a robot saying they closed there phone lines permanently. The settings are impossible to change and it almost never works this app is garbage I do not recommend it to anyone.

Great app , It's helping me get my credit back up, Highly recommend 👍🏼 Well I spoke to soon , I'm so disappointed with afterpay, After building credit for months always paying on time, even pay payments that weren't due , It took me being hospitalized and miss 1 payment for afterpay to take the spending limit I built and put me back to zero.. Highly recommend that you don't use afterpay..

Afterpay is wonderful and gives you the opportunity no one else would. Without a credit check they allow you a generous spending limit. I managed to get mine to 1,200, then on my like 8th order I slipped up and two of my payments were a day late which dropped it to 100. I on the offhand deserve it, and instead of battering them on a review, I stuck with it. And I'm like 20 plus orders in and got it back to 600 responsibly. Take care of yourself and pay on time, they pay attention.

Used this app multiple times, has really helped out when needing parts for my car that I can't afford out of pocket. Never had a single issue buying anything/ paying back what I owe. Would rate higher if I could.
