Everything is working great for me, I'm pretty sure the reviews I saw stating there meter wouldn't sync, is due to them not reading the "about app" section. It states right there the compatible meters, only 4 compatible meters at this time. The only thing about the app that will help me, and possibly others. Is to have the option for insulin pump, so unfortunately I can only put my Bolus rate in, I would like to have an option to enter my Basal rate. Great app, definitely will help diabetics.
It would be more useful if I could sync all the data in my meter and not just the data entered since getting the app. Edit: Not gonna do that, but fine. Mostly gave 3 stars so you would see this. I would love to have a way to upload data. I am checking blood sugars several times a day, and it's a pain to have to manually enter every single thing. Csv upload abilities would make this a 5 star app for me. Thanks.
Minimal Blood Glucose app. Has graphs for blood glucose, food, insulin, and weight but with the exception of blood glucose they have to be entered manually. It would be nice if there was some way to at least to transfer food data from other apps. There's a link for saving data to the cloud but nothing else. Saving to the cloud isn't even mentioned in the Agamatrix web site. So what's going on with my data? I would like to be able to delete entries. Sometimes I get a high that is obviously due to something on my finger. I retest after washing and the reading is way lower.
The data visualization is horrendously bad. The axes autoset to ranges of values which make it difficult to see individual data points, trends, etc. Luckily, the data can be downloaded through the webpage, and analysis and visualization can be done in ways that are useful by those who are programmers.
Easy to use app love the bluetooth function. However was not able to sync with healthcare provider as stated, was told it would only work with a A1C study provider using this device. So that was disappointing to say the least because that was one of the major functions I wanted to use. But with the app I was able to control of my A1C to go from 9 to 6.3 so it did earn 5 stars for that!
Just bought my meter and set everything up. Very user friendly, so far. paired right up to phone through Bluetooth. Tested the first time with no problems. we will see how it goes. so far, i like the system and it is vety inexpensive to get all your supplies.
The only problem i have is i work graveyard shift so my read time are different from the "normal" times and the app will not let me change the times around to reflect that. That being said, love the idea of the app and the fact that i dont have to write down all of my readings.
The Bluetooth part of this only works about once a month. I use it every day so I'd like for it to connect to my device everyday, too. I've tried re-pairing it but that doesn't work either. I wish I'd spent a little extra money and bought the brand name device, instead of this cheap CVS device.
App does not recognize bluetooth meter. Followed all directions and troubleshooting. I can pair from blootooth screen on my phone, I enter the code and get the "check" on the meter's display, but the app says "pairing failed". Hope I can return the meter to CVS
OK. Very average. There are much better apps out there for diabetes. The only reason I use this app is that it appears to be the only one that syncs with my CVS branded AgaMatrix meter which is very small and convenient. If the Diabetes M: app were to add the CVS meter as a compatible item, I would delete the mediocre AgaMatrix app without a second thought.
App is far more capable than I expected, especially after paying less than $25 for the meter. Tags and graphs the important information with enough flexibility to be useful but not so much as to be confusing. I believe I'll be using this for some time.
where do you manuslly downlad all bluetooth meter data this should be obvious but isn't? just found out you cant download any fata taken before bluetooth sync. this means manual entry for me of over 100 points. as a programmer would have neen a trivial task to import that data. put a warning on the meter to sync before first use.
Pretty easy to use. Would like to see different colored DOTS when above or below the Target Range (otherwise a 5 star.) Bluetooth function is great capability and well worth the extra cost.
App keeps turning off by itself. Wont stay on long enough to sync with meter. Worked ok for a while. Now i end up manually inputting data. If it lets me. Now it wont stay on enough to let me do that
This app works well most of the time with my bluetooth reader.the suggestion that I would make is that you add a place to put in a food log and an exercise log. Simple listing would probably be fine.
Pretty awesome app!!! Very simple to use. I would like a feature to enter a card that is a non insulin medicine like metformin. I would like a guestimator to let me know when my blood sugars will be in normal range based on recorded data.
Loving this app!! Easy to use and understand! When the Atlanta Diabetes Center had paired my mobile phone and meter with Bluetooth and their computer I was stoked! Every time I do a BG reading, they immediately receive the information. Keeps me accountable, which I like!
I can't delete cards as described in app's help. In general the app is very basic and UI not well documented. I only use the app for glucose readings because it 'talks' to my meter.
The app does not list the ERROR CODES anywhere... AND "SUPPORT " doesn't answer phones on weekends! How is this a MEDICAL DEVICE for a life critical function? "Other than THAT, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?" Other than these problems it is pretty good for the money. But check TWICE if you think it is off, because I frequently see readings 20 seconds apart, same big drop of blood, be different by 30 mg/dl or more. Then I frequently have to take 5 readings to see where the real value is.
Its nice that it charts your reading and makes it really easy for my doctor and I to see how my treatment is working. However, I have to hit them hard on the star rating as they do not allow you to delte entries made by your meter via Bluetooth. I am going to look for one with similar feature but allows me to remove entries that are not acurate.
