Its an amazing game but all it needs is the ability to change the countries flag because you can rename your country and it would be awesome if you had a selection of the countries past flags like if you could choose the german empires flag during the holy roman empire. Or if you could add the countries flags to the game so you can switch the flag for like 300 gold. It would make it more immersive. Just add the countries past flags so i can change the countries name and flaf mid-game. Thankyou
It's the closest game I've been able to find to the total war series on PC I would give it five stars but I'm not a big fan of the order factions make their moves. Ie weakest first and so on. Also how it appears the AI is not affected by low happiness in settlements. But still top notch
I started the easy mode and everyone already had way more troops then me. Any conflict I was in I would lose double the enemy while not being able to make more. Meanwhile the enemy is printing troops. Also the tutorial thought me nothing except how to get wiped off the map on a matter minutes. Because again the same issues stated before.
One of the best games I ever played. Simple, yet beautiful oldschool design. Looks easy to play at first, but later on You will find out it gets much more nuanced & challenging. Replayability is enormous. Community can be intense, but the little squabbles will grow on You. No ads. Everything you need is free. Later on you can either buy additional maps&scenarios or get good at the game & buy them for in-game currency winnings after 2-6 months of play. I went by 2nd option. No regrets.
Started playing the game when it was on PC. I can confidantly say it's a faithful port with no ads, no annoying features shoved in, and it's free. If you enjoy turn based strategy games, you have to try this one.
Basically a very good game,the money Easter egg is very useful,it isn't in hexes like most game do so that's a plus,but I think you could make one game with different major(I mean it by major) timelines like the world war,anyways I wish you could add more type of offer and help,like offer units,or buy provinces by units,or protect someone vice versa
It is a great game. My only problem with it is the limited maps. I would have rated it five stars if there were more free maps available.
Great little FREE GAME you have options to buy different maps but to get you started you dont need. Lots of options for game play .
The in-game experience is great but you only get 3 free maps, with the majority of maps behind a $20 pay wall.
Fun strategy game great time filler if your waiting for something you can play this won't be a game where you play for four minutes then your done it's gonna take days to complete which I'm fine with.
Nice gameplay but needs to fix multiplayer since the games of many turns already played remains open for players which is annoying.
Great game. I spend all day playing sometimes. My only complaints is there isn't enough color variety to represent each country. Some of them end up being the same color as you or others. Also, there seems to be lag when dealing with ships with large numbers.
Extremely fun game, not too hard and not too easy. (Depending of difficulty obviously.)
its a really fun game to play at first its a little hard to understand but after that is pretty good game you can spend hours playing it.
Easy and repetitive but a great idea for a game it just needs a little improvment.
It's impossible to play against AI you never get what you want. I guess this is the concept of the game annoying players
This is my favourite game I love it so much. I haven't bought the expansion pack but when I can I'm deffinatly doing it I've played this for a long time and replay constantly. You can change game modes to make it as challenging as possible. AI can be annoying but hang in there I can beat it on inhuman now after all the hours I've put in 😂. Update i have brought the map packs was well worth it now i have loads of maps instead of 3 😂 shiuld last me aloy more years.
I like it. I'm not sure how much strategy is really involved. But there are a lot of settings to vary the game.
This is my new favorite game! It reminds me of the classic war strategy games from the '90s like World Empire and Lords of Conquest, but made even better! Plenty of customization options when setting up a game, so you can have a different game experience each time you play. It can be played offline for free, and multiplayer online for in-game credits which can be won in the game. A few free maps (including the very fun Fantasy map) ARE available in the map store, you just have to look for them.
It's a fun game and very engaging, but there are a few minor improvements that could be added. For example, protectorates should probably allow you to move your troops into/through their territories; the game could provide basic information in a clearer fashion (the Info button is very small, and it doesn't tell you why you can't recruit troops in a certain province or if it's going to revolt); and as a quality of life feature, it shouldn't cost Action Points and a ton of gold to rename a town.
This game is easy to pick up and really immersive (at least, as immersive free Android turn-based strategy games goes) and there's really no bugs or issues to complain about gameplay-wise. The mechanics are easy enough to learn but difficult to master. Though the game is straightforward in some ways, planning and tactics are really important. I feel, however, that this game has a paywall wherein you have to pay for maps and scenarios, but considering the game is really great, it is acceptable.
The best strategy game on the play store. Hands down. I've conquered our world and others, hundreds of times. The parameters are adjustable, allowing a truly custom experience every time, and there are so many maps. At first I thought maps were overpriced, but honestly, I've spent tons of hours in game, and I've more than got my money's worth. thank you Dev!! I hope you have more coming.
Is really good butvthere are improvements to be made (1) The tutorial could do with some more specific things like how you can ally with other nations and others (2) You could add a tutorial for the multiplayer menu because it will be so confusing the first time you go there (3) The game could add more resources for added complexity, such as iron for upgrading soldiers, wood for building more structures, etc. I hope the game gets better! (Its great as it is but still!)
One of the best mobile strategy games out there. Im in love with the "Total War" style and have been playing non-stop ever since I discovered this game. The only issue i have with it is the lack of playable maps and their size, there are maps to download but for a staggering amount of money.I love the way you guys are taking the game ever since Age of Conquest and it would be amazing if we get newer and bigger maps, and more playable factions.
Only gave it 4/5 bcuz it could have more variables to make it even harder. This is one of the few games I enjoyed enough to actually rate. It's a lot of fun and a great way to pass time. It saves automatically. And it's ot pay-to-win. You just pay for additional maps and stuff like that. I highly recommend if you like strategy games!
I didn't find the fantasy map. Maybe it is not easy to find. The gameplay is cool, kindof like risk, but more intricate and no cards. You have to manage an economy. I think more features would make the gameplay less redundant, like special troops, or other factors that are either team based or based on things that you have attained, also maybe based on certain dramatic actions by individual politicans or heroes. It is too tied to economy, pop., and troop count ultimately causing one sided-ness.
Age of Conquest is one of the best RTS map games available on the app store. Over the few years I've played it, it's not only become one of my most played games but by far one of the most fun, I truly enjoy its multiple realistic mechanics. Obviously there are things that they could change or fix, but with the wide range of different options, playable factions, settings and customizations in the game, it is really one of the best available, especially on mobile.
