Agenda Widget Plus

I have used this for years on many devices. But whenever I attempt to make a widget now and then configure it, all I get is bombarded with error messages in my upper task bar. It's obviously incompatible with most modern devices and this has not changed in quite a while. Once I get a new phone, I have a feeling no device I own will be able to use this anymore. Truly sad.

Used to work quite well, but recently after updating my phone to KitKat, AWP started acting strangely and not updating correctly. Then, after a recent update of gTasks, my tasks disappear from the widget randomly. Please update this app and fix these bugs to get 5 stars. Doesn't even install on Lollipop, 1 star until fixed.

Has many options to customize which I love (may scare away some users as there are so many options and you might forget what/where specific setting you changed). I've switched to using aCalendar+ as it has a few more features/customizations I like (birthday list, calendar profiles, app is updated).

I have been using the free version for a long time and as that was no longer working and no maintenance updates were forthcoming I decided to pay for this version, big mistake, it worked for 5 mins and now half the widgets are unavailable and it crashes out when accessing settings. Tried on two tablets, identical problems. Nexus 7 running v4.4.2

I think no matter what you're looking for did a simple widget to display your calendar or if you're like me and I have actually been diagnosed with OCD and need a calendar that's very specifically customize the way you need it to me and want it to be you're going to find that in this app. And you don't need to purchase it to do so. I did because it was cheap and I wanted to support the developers but really it's the only Calendar widget / app you need. Thanks to everyone who designed this!

Been using this for years and loving it. But after upgrading to Nougat, it won't get past settings and won't load any of my calendars. I'll happily give back the five stars when fixed. Android suggested I disable it as it was also showing high battery drain - probably because it was trying to work. I uninstalled.

I've been using this app for ages, quite happily, but unhappily it breaks on my nexus 7. Plenty of people have noticed the same. I've emailed the author directly without response, so can only assume that the app has been abandoned. I will assume that over time more devices will fail with it. Disappointing really...

Love it! Would be even better if we could filter out events based on keywords (e.g. I have weekly meetings in my calendar for reminders, but I don't need to see them in this widget, and at two a week it wastes loads of space...

Worth every penny just from the sheer amount of customization options.. Dev even programmed in a widget previewer to see your changes as you make them. Been a user since this app first came to the market. Upgraded to pay version after realizing I've been using this app 5 years or thereabouts

Bummer. Doesn't seem to work in Nougat. Keeps crashing as I try to set it up. I found out that Pure Calendar Widget also supports Touchdown, so I installed that as a replacement and now I am psyched! It's easier to configure and the feature for adding calendar entries works awesome. And there are a bunch of predefined skins to choose from. I highly recommend it as a replacement!

Not sure why some people say it doesn't work - it's 2015, and on Android 4.4.4 (Kit Kat), at least, it's still AWESOME. The level of customization, so your agenda looks the way you want it to, even with multiple calendars (and the ability to show just one copy of events that appear on more than one) is just unparalleled. When I first used it, agenda-style widgets were rare. Now, they're baked into the official Google calendar app - but this STILL rocks and is still my go-to method for viewing everything in all my calendars - I haven't seen another app that comes close, for Android or Windows. That's my biggest gripe, actually - now that I'm using Windows 10 on my laptop, I can't find an agenda-style app that comes close to the versatility and features of this one on my phone. It's very disappointing, actually.

This was a 5 star app until I got my new pixel phone. Now it crashes and won't display calenders anymore. I don't know if this app is even maintained anymore. If this problem is fixed I'll revise this review.

Never left a review or upgraded so fast before but this widget it smooth and stylish. The customizable options are endless and loving the preview widget that allows u to see how ur widget will look without having to go backwards and forwards from homescreen to widget settings... Whoever made this Is awsome spot on!

Used to be a must have, now just crashes on SG Note 4 after Lollipop upgrade - even after factory reset. But wait, there's more! Somehow, just having it installed (without an active widget) causes a wakelock, preventing sleep mode and killing battery life of the phone. Long time favourite app now uninstalled.

Was getting iffy on my S6, no longer works on my S8. Shame, it used to be great. Wish it was still maintained. [Old review: Love being able to combine my work (Touchdown) and personal (Google) calendars in one widget and a separate widget for speciality Google calendars. And I can make it look however I want!]

Don't buy this app for Android 4.4 or later. The widgets no longer work properly with KitKat and the developer hasn't updated the app (or responded to any inquiries on his support website) for six months. The abandonment of this app is a real shame. It used to be a five-star favorite that was one of the first things I'd install on any new device.

Used this app for almost 4 years, but in the past 3 months there have been issues with refreshing calendar info. I emailed support but got no response. Moved to a different app now called calendar widget by ±1 labs

What a nice, highly-customizable little tool. I have a lot of sales appointments through the day, and my wife has a busy schedule as well. The Google agenda widget works fine, but as you know it leaves a big chunky solid white block in the middle of your screen. I prefer to have more subtle widget that is mostly transparent on top of my wallpaper background. This widget let's you control transparency, colour of different calendar texts, etc. Love it's look and function.

Unfortunately, this seems to have been abandoned as it has not been updated in 2yrs. Still works on my Nexus 6p but I have had the same back-up layout to install from for over 3yrs. I hope that if something does break that the developer who use to be very responsive addresses it.

Great widget, but it crashes consistently trying to access settings and customization on my Nexus 7 under 4.4.x; the incredible variety of options was one of the biggest reasons to buy the paid version. I've written to the dev several times, really, with bug reports, configuration details, steps to reproduce. I do software QA, I know how to file a bug report. But. I've never even gotten the courtesy of a response, not even "Yeah, hey, sorry, I don't know what's up." So I"m having to move on to another widget. I can only recommend you DO NOT spend money on this.

I have loved this app for years. It has been updated in a long time and now with Nougat it does work at all. So sad that it has been abandoned.

Almost perfect for my needs for the last 5 years. It does have a glitchy time keeping GTasks lists on the widget. But alas it's years of being abandoned have finally caught up and I have to sadly switch to Pure Calender Widget.

I love this app and have used it through several phone changes without issues. Just started crashing and won't load at all. Makes it difficult to recommend at the present time. Will change to 5 stars if this gets fixed. HTC One M8.

5/23/17 editing to report that this stopped working with the latest upgrade on my Note 5 - sad to see it go, but it looks like they are not really maintaining it any more. Thank goodness another reviewer mentioned Pure Calendar Widget, which is a fine replacement! - I have used Business Calendar Pro for years, across several phones, because I like an agenda view on my home screen, and the convenience of adding appointments right from there, and their widget could do that. But it was frustrating not to be able to see my Touchdown calendar. I had occasionally looked for an alternative with that capability, and just thought to search again today, and saw mention of this app. I love this!! It does everything I want, I can even see and sync my tasks now, and it is very customizable. Looks great on my Note 3.
